Gu Mengmeng bit onto her lower lip hard. After a while, she said with apology, on the brink of tears, “Ah Kel, I’m sorry…”

Snakel’s brows remained tightly knitted from the start but he relaxed his pressed lips slowly, forming a helpless smile.

He stood there, watching the tears brimming up in Gu Mengmeng’s eyes. Sighing, he took a step forward with a smile and walked through the door, standing in the same world as Gu Mengmeng.

She had no choice but to give up on talking so that she could breathe through her nose.
