She shook her head and continued, “Let’s go out. This room… just take it as his room.”
Elvis and Lea did not object and carried Gu Mengmeng to the cave outside.

“Cole.” Chixuan’s eyes were just looking at her straight, as he awaited an answer.
Under her watchful eyes, she nodded and said, “I… I killed him.”
It could not be seen whether it was joy or anger from his face as he hugged Gu Mengmeng and said, “I had already expected this day, but mum… I still feel uneasy.”
“Chixuan…”
“I am different from Kanwu. I was raised by Cole. No matter how evil he is to you, in my eyes, he is more like a father than Elvis and is someone I am closest to other than you.” Cole had been hugging Gu Mengmeng the whole time. He did not want Gu Mengmeng to see his pathetic look and buried his face in the nook of her neck. He said, “Mum, do you know why I am so afraid of you crying? That’s because ever since I could not transform myself, he had been saying to me, “No one can hurt Ah Gu, anyone who displeases her should die”, “Ah Gu is the most beautiful when she smiles.
