Chapter 1627: Ending – Gregory’s Return

Gu Mengmeng already knew that Snake was one who would give in to coax rather than coercion.

Seeing that Snake was pretending to remain prideful yet having no choice but to give in to her, Gu Mengmeng’s mood improved significantly. She tiptoed and pecked his chin, then giggled.

Gu Mengmeng wanted to hug Gregory, but with Snake’s hands still on her waist, she did not dare to move and only secretly glanced at Snake.

After he said that, Snake lightly pushed Gu Mengmeng into Gregory’s arms.

Gregory opened up his arms for a hug. He still did not move from his original position and received her steadily, giving her a huge hug. He said, “I have no right to snatch you away from other’s arms, so I can only wait for you at this spot. Thank you for being willing to come to my arms, thank you… for not forgetting me.”

Gu Mengmeng did not say anything and only placed both hands gently on his arms.
