“Seems like you really like wooden combs.” Cole smiled, then reached for a silver briefcase with a passcode on it from beside him, then opened it in front of everyone. He then turned to face all of them, “This was the wooden comb I mentioned in the video. As long as you are willing to battle, you can take it now.”

“Aren’t you afraid we will go back on our words and run away with this?” Gu Mengmeng asked while smiling faintly.

Cole suppressed his laughter. When he looked up at Gu Mengmeng, he had an unexplainable gentleness, with a loving tone even he himself found strange, “He wouldn’t.”

“Oh?” Gu Mengmeng continued smiling while looking at Cole, as if she was waiting for his explanation.

Cole was rather excited, he was not sure regarding what either, but he only felt that the ability for him to calmly speak some unimportant words to the girl before him, was like something he had been dreaming about his whole life.

If we can provide what each other needs the most, would that not be the best method of cooperation? The can leave with the wooden comb, I cannot beat any of them, anyway. Cole spoke as he raised his head, looking away from Elvis and stopping at Lea’s face, smiling, “What do you say?”

Lea hung a warm and respectful smile on his face, which was his only expression to anyone other than Gu Mengmeng.

He did not reply to Cole’s question, because he knew that as the first partner in the family, only Elvis had a say, other than Gu Mengmeng.

The rules of the family shall not be messed with, no matter whether he was a Beast King now or under any other identity.
