His threat was obvious, if Gu Mengmeng obediently help him with his “favor”, he would release her while giving her an “apology” of considerable value.

On the other hand, if she did not agree, then he would not release her today.

Furthermore, when he kidnapped her at the amusement park, all of them had worn uniforms, so even if Snake were to check the park, it would take a lot of effort to identify him.

Or it could be that in his eyes, this youthful and ignorant “young lady” was a good target to scare.

She then understood, “Oh, talked about it before, but he did not listen to you at all. Let me guess… you must have tried all methods of threatening and tempting, but he just would not listen. You had no choice, so you used me as your way out, right?”

Harold coughed a few times, clearly feeling rather ashamed that he could not handle such men, thus taking it out on a little girl.

But he had no choice, he wanted that man!

Harold has been so influential in the underworld for so many years and has not had that kind of crazy desire to dominate.

He desperately wanted to watch the untamable man submit to him, becoming nothing but his slave, the person most gentle to him, and his most alert guardian.

Gu Mengmeng did not miss the zealousness in Harold’s eyes, for she had seen way too many of those gazes in the past thousand years.

Raising her hand, Gu Mengmeng gently rubbed her collarbone, smiling amusedly, “Since you want him, then tell him to his face. How could you not even have the courage to face him?”
