《Celestial Journey》[Questionable Aspiration]

"Shall the conference begin!"
The old man embraced the world and his voice rampaged the hall.
Suffocating from this pressure, many discussed in hushed tones.
"Senior Joru is still as lively!"
"Indeed, indeed! His voice alone his so powerful, do you think he is a step away from the unknown realm?"
"What unknown realm!? The Greater Existence Realm is the end! Stop with the stupid legends, you're only deceiving yourself!"
Feeling the pressure as well, Alexander's clone felt uncomfortable. But being used to such displays of strength, he recovered quite fast.
'This old man is not bad, much stronger than Hophe!'
His thoughts were soon interrupted by a powerful presence watching him.
Alexander's clone turning his head right, he saw the old man in question, senior Joru, stare at him with burning eyes before speaking loudly.
"Sir, are you not putting this Joru in your eyes? Why have you come here with a mere clone? Do you believe this old man to be blind? Outrageous!"
His voice ordered silence and deafened the world.
Even if Alexander's clone did not fear death and felt quite comfortable, the voice was simply too powerful. His body drenched in cold sweat from alarm, he cleared his throat.
"This Alexander had no such intentions. It is just that I had no choice. My real body is currently... well, in a pinch... But not wanting to appear rude and not attend, I deployed this clone instead. I hope that senior can be magnanimous!"
His expression easing, old Joru took a sip of a cup at his disposal.
"I understand. If it is so, then there is nothing wrong. But if you lied to me..." The hall almost crumbling, old Joru's aura burst forth, demanding respect.
"This Alexander wouldn't dare!" Lying with a straight face, Alexander looked below, where tens of thousands of experts awaited in horror. With old Joru's abrupt release of malice, the weaker experts below the Immortal Sky Realm had felt it on another level.
Those at the Primordial Harmonization Realm had a light headache. The Blooming Lotus Realm ones had some serious internal injuries while those weaker had mostly perished already.
The tens of thousands of experts lost a significant number of personnel, all survivors unable to avoid stepping on dead bodies.
Yet, even after seeing such a shocking display of dictatorship, none raised any objections. As for the cause itself, the old man clearly did not care one bit for the deaths of thousands of experts. These fallen experts' forces would probably need to endure harsh storms and catastrophic calamities, but it did not matter.

Ants were ants, grass was grass and divinities reigned supreme.
In front of strength, nothing could contend. And all people present knew it as well. If even someone like Alexander did not want to raise fuss, it showed how tricky it was to deal with an aggressive opposing power.
"Now, now, let's just start with the conference! First is discussing about the recent emergence of wild beasts in the Northern Continent."
Raising from his seat, a cold middle aged man with cobalt hair and beard wearing icy blue robes stood up. Cupping his fists at old Joru, he parted his lips.
"Senior Joru, I am junior Yelku, sect master of the Freezing Feather Sect! I have a report to present regarding this issue."
Waving his hand casually, old Joru saw the man continue.
"The beasts have already been taken care of! My Freezing Feather Sect managed to defeat them until they retreated back to their nasty hideout!"
His eye twitching, a dark haired middle aged man suddenly stood up as well, anger plastered all over his face. His finger trembling from wrath and indignation, the man pointed at the man named Yelku.
"You...you!! How dare you lie to senior Joru's face?! If it wasn't because of my Black Ice Sect's help, would you have succeeded? Please say the truth, and only the truth!"
'You bastard, think I'll let you get away with all the benefits? It won't happen under my nose!'
Already knowing where the argument was headed, old Joru raised his hand.
"Does it matter? One should thrive for Humanity's prosperity. Why would you both care for benefits when it is your duty?"
This time it was Yelku's face that started twitching uncontrollably. If it was not for this nemesis of his, the profit would have been his for the taking! But now? Neither were left with anything in hand!
Glaring daggers at the man who spoke, Yelku was beyond irritated. As for complaining, even if he had ten lives, he would never dare to.
Everyone in the hall knew that old Joru simply did not want to give away benefits if possible, but even if threatened everyone for it, no one would oppose him.
As for Alexander, he was simply bored out of his mind. He felt like sleeping at any moment. He did not even bother watching the indecent show between three shameless men. Two battled for benefits while the last spewed nonsense like it was the most natural thing in the world.
What 'Humanity's prosperity'? This sentence came out the mouth of the man who butchered thousands of important figures across the realm like stepping on dry leaves.

The conference was quite uneventful. Relatively important subjects were briefly talked about and some reports were given in response.
Alexander also had to explain his Devouring Sect's status, which nobody really cared about. Actually, no one even remembered what was said since the conference began. It was not just Alexander who was bored!
But since beautiful men and women were made to entertain the various guests, none complained.
Alexander was slumped on his throne as if he fell asleep abruptly, making the beautiful maidservants hesitate on whether to serve him or not.
Luckily, this conference did not last too long.
After a boring week, the conference ended. In this week, many situations were talked about, discussions about certain topics more prevalent than others.
'What a waste of time!' Fortunately, Alexander had sent a clone. Meaning his real body was currently enjoying the sun as usual.
"Sect master, I have dealt with my matters today, let's spar!"
The sunbathing Alexander slowly opening his eyes, he saw Yu Xian and Maffrec as well as Livia on the side of his platform.
"Spar? With me? Are you a masochist or something?" This spar thing truly puzzled him. Why would anyone even dare to spar with him? Last time he did, someone died.
"Of course Sect Master has to lower his cultivation and fight against the three of us!" Yu Xian proudly explained, thumping his chest.
"Oh? And limit my cultivation to what level?"
"We want a fair fight, so we really don't know..."
'Of course you guys don't know! One is at the Grand Harmonization Realm, another in the Ethereal Spirit Realm and the last at the damn Immortal Sky Realm! Where should my cultivation stop!?'
"You know what? I'll make it simple for all of you. If you can beat some puppets I have, I'll let you fight against my clones regressed to your cultivation level! How does that sound? Wait, I might as well make it for the entire sect!"
"No, sir Sect Master doesn't need to-"
"Everyone is to gather at the sect's entrance!" Interrupting the trio's reluctant voices was Alexander's own, booming across the Devouring Sect.
At the Devouring Sect's gates, a giant arena was suddenly formed. It was clearly made on the spot, its rocky and ugly sides truly eye catching. Clearly, someone had simply lifted a part of the ground some small distance upward. How it did not fall back down however, was still to be discussed.
On this day, where the sun was high, the ugly dirt and stony arena was crowded beyond its worth. Many disciples were quietly standing on the side while some hushed for who would win. Since currently, one youth were battling on said arena with a strange wooden puppet.
The puppet lacked many features, from a face to proper smooth transitions between joints and wood.
It had no resemblance to a human beside the shape.
The youth in question on the other hand, was a junior at the Blooming Lotus Realm. In the second stage to be precise.
As for the puppet? While it may completely overpower the youth, its cultivation base was the exact same.
Unfortunately for the promising youth however, the puppet was simply too overbearing. It had no fear of death, damage or anything of the sort. It targeted something and attempted to kill it.
At some point, the puppet's hand were only a few centimeters away from the youth's chest, about to obliterate it, when a man in grey robes intervened.
"T-Thank you, Elder Kui!" Bowing without shame, the youth quickly made its way back to the sides, were people both degraded and uplifted them.
Such a scene was commonplace. Alexander's puppets were just too strong for the average expert. They had countless martial arts and secret techniques at disposition along an insane accumulation of multiple masters' battle experience.
The small and fun trial testing the disciples ended with Alexander's puppets suffering no losses against regular disciples. Only Maffrec managed to overpower his fight, but when taking into consideration his higher body cultivation, it made perfect sense. Even of the puppet managed to land a hit, Maffrec's body would take it without a single flinch.
Yu Xian's fight was very similar, his body was also used to the Celestial Realm and therefore unable to be defeated using anything below the Celestial Qi.
The puppets were of course tempered the same, similar to a Celestial Realm's mortal, but their attacks used their cultivation base's appropriate energy. In this case, Emperor Qi.
The ones who had a harder time were Livia, Lu Huo, the bronze hammer Pure Grade disciple and Vezh, the Void Grade disciple.
Alexander used puppets, but they were actually clones. Of course their memories were switched and cultivation adapted.
What surprised him was all disciples at the Azure Grade and above managing to win.
This meant he had to teach them a lesson!
A spar against him? It was his time to make them understand the difference between Heaven and Earth.

Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.
