On the fourth day of their stay at the hotel, around ten in the morning, a knock came from the door. Upon opening the door, Ka Ricky saw a plump man almost as tall as him but almost twice his size. If the two of them stood side by side, one could imagine the number “10”.

He is wearing grey formal clothes; however, his fat belly is accentuated by tucking in his polo inside his pants. Although he is still in his mid-thirties, his hair might have been defeated in a turf war as it has retreated all the way to the back of his head. He also has two small eyes to which he wears over eyeglasses that rest on his thick-flat nose. His eyebrows are thin, almost non-existent. Most noticeable of all are the braces he wears on his teeth, which looks to be twinkling.

“Good morning Mr. Clasillas!” Ka Ricky greeted the man.

“Hmm. Are the two recruits here?” The plump man, called ‘Mr. Clasillas’ did not bother returning the greeting of Ka Ricky and went to business.

“Yes, they are in the dining area, please come inside.” Ka Ricky, although displeased by the plump man’s behavior did not bother to dally and immediately brought him to the dining area of their hotel room.

The two women were sitting across the table talking, when Ka Ricky called their attention. The two women immediately noticed the plump man standing beside Ka Ricky. Likewise, the plump man also noticed the two women, especially Ella. Seeing the two women and the different charms they exude filled the plump man’s eyes with greed and lust that he almost salivated.

Ella and Kayla noticed the perverted gaze the plump man used to look at them, and they immediately felt nothing but disdain towards him.

“Ella and Kayla meet Mr. Clasillas, he is the representative I told you about.” Ka Ricky introduced.

“Good morning Mr. Clasillas!” Greeted the two in a voice that sounded flat. Clearly still displeased by the other party’s lecherous gaze.

“Mr. Clasillas is one of the lawyers working for the organization, of course, it also means that he is also a member of the organization. He will be the one to bring us to Bukidnon today. Also, starting today, you two will be put under his care.” Ka Ricky noticed that there was something wrong with how the two women greeted the plump man. Even though he did not see the lecherous gaze the other party directed at the two women, Ka Ricky understood that it was the plump man who did something wrong.

Ka Ricky may be an upright man, but he is not an idiot nor is he blind. He totally knows how beautiful these two women are, and how potent their charms are, as well. He has been in the same room with the two of them for four days and has been in great struggle to control his desires.

Although the main reason why he would constantly leave their room is for official business, to get away from the two of them is secondary. He understands that all men desire and even fantasizes about beautiful women, or women in general, and he is not exempted from this rule; but he also knows that one’s actions towards these desires, whether they let their desire take control of them or they control their desires, will determine if one is a real man, or just a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The two women, especially Kayla, also know about Ka Ricky’s struggle when all three of them are in the room. However, his act of respect towards them made the two women respect Ka Ricky even more, unlike the plump man who did not even bother to hide his desires.

“Ehem! Please excuse my rude behavior earlier, I was just caught off-guard that our two new members are both charming women! You see, most of the new members I get assigned to are men, so seeing the both of you is like seeing an oasis in the middle of the desert. So, I totally understand your displeased reactions.” Mr. Clasillas also noticed the displeased reactions from the two, and with an “embarrassed” smile shamelessly brought the reason up for everyone to hear. Seemingly blaming himself for the disrespectful act of the two but is actually saying that the two are being disrespectful.

Ella and Kayla were caught off-guard by the plump man’s act, and by admitting his offense and asking for forgiveness, the burden of the ones being offensive would be passed on to the two women. Should they continue to press on the subject, the two of them will be viewed as being unreasonable and unsociable, and as Mr. Clasillas is the representative of the organization, will have the right to reject their membership. Worse still is that the two women are now forty thousand in debt to the organization, and should they be rejected at this point, the organization could press legal charges on them.

Of course, Mr. Clasillas has already thought about it this far, and he knew that by now, he has these two women by the neck.

“Hmph! Showing your attitudes towards me when you two are nothing but ignorant fools. Let us see, between the three of us who will have to tuck their tails between their legs!” Thought Mr. Clasillas.

“Bastard!” Ka Ricky, Ella, and Kayla thought the same thing. The situation is becoming tense.

“Since Mr. Clasillas has already admitted to his mistake, it will be unbecoming of us if we still continue to hold a grudge against him. Everything’s water under the bridge, Mr. Clasillas, right Kayla?” It was Ella who spoke and diffused the tense situation, flashing a bright smile.

“R-right!” Kayla was a bit unprepared by Ella’s statement but quickly followed suit.

Ka Ricky then breathed a sigh of relief, thankful for Ella’s quick wits and effective diffusion of the tense situation they were in.

“Now that everything has been sorted out, why don’t the two of you pack your things. While Mr. Clasillas wait for us downstairs.” Ka Ricky immediately changed the subject after the two women “forgave” Mr. Clasillas.

Mr. Clasillas of course knew what Ka Ricky was thinking about, and though he was slightly offended by the other party’s action, he swallowed his pride and just went with the flow. Flashing an awkward smile towards the girls and Ka Ricky and then hurriedly left the room with his two bodyguards.

Seeing Mr. Clasillas leave the room, Ka Ricky then released a sigh of relief, and unconsciously lowered his shoulders. Apparently, the plump man’s presence put some pressure on him, especially when the tension between him and the girls happened.

“Before we leave this room, I must advise the two of you to stay out of Mr. Clasillas’ eyes as much as you can. Though we belong to the same organization, we are two different people. You must be careful of who you trust, even amongst our members.” Ka Ricky warned Ella and Kayla.

Ella ang Kayla both nodded their heads. They both understood what Ka Ricky was talking about.

A few minutes later, Ka Ricky, Ella and Kayla went down to the hotel lobby to check out. Mr. Clasillas who was waiting for them immediately stood up and escorted the three outside to a silver—colored van that would bring them to the city of Malaybalay in Bukidnon.
