So... yeah.. it's been a rough volume. I looked back, and apparently said almost the same thing at the end of the last volume, health, difficulties, blah, blah, blah. With this one I finally gave up and stopped trying to produce a daily release. When I did that I imagined that I'd do better after a while and recreate a buffer. That didn't happen.

I was really tempted to take more than a week off between volumes and try to build up a buffer, but... I think I'm just going to leave it at a week, and try to maintain this 4 days a week schedule. I wish I were up to resuming daily releases, but I'm just not.

I did decide to go ahead and do a 5th volume, so that I didn't have to suddenly cram everything into this one when I realized how much I still hadn't gotten to halfway in. I'm not sure if the expansion is my inexperience, or if I've added too many trivial details that an editor would cut out.

I may produce Volume 5 one even slower than Volume 4, but I'm still determined to go ahead and finish the story. Thanks for your support along the way!

At this point, I don't know about writing out Jade's story afterward (there's a really short quick version 'Jade System' that I did for one of the contests). Maybe I'll take a half a year or off, like I did with Kiri. Or maybe my condition will stabilize for awhile and I'll just keep on. I don't know.
