Third Person's POV;

Between the Tower of Justice and the Bridge of Hesitation; Underground storage room;

The fight between Rob Lucci and Straw Hat Luffy has just started. They were clashing their fists in a deadly match of wills. Rob Lucci's justice of the World Government against Straw Hat Luffy's will of freedom.

Each attack was generating air blasts and shock waves. Crates got destroyed by their flying bodies and the ground littered with craters from the impact of their kicks.

But their fight was not the only one deep underground. There were two more facing each other. A small white pigeon and a brown common hen. They have flown higher up to give room to the two humans on the ground.

These two were Hattori or also known as Andreas, the pigeon that betrayed his people to the World Government and Mrs Chicken Wing, or also called Batilda.

The air around Batilda was crackling, Conqueror Haki rolled off of her in waves and her feathers were a deep black with white flame markings. “In the name of Poultry's Royal Family, I sentence you to death for actions of treasons against the crown!”

“You talk as if you could back your words. Don't think that I am the weak Lieutenant I made you believe I am.” Cooed Andreas.

“We both know that I am the stronger one. You won't escape me, I will beat you to an inch of your life and then you will tell me where I can find Basilisk.”

Andreas cooed mockingly. “Hah, you are still searching for your husband? What if he is no longer alive? What if we have killed him, his body thrown into a ditch, like the trash he is. Left to be eaten by maggots.”

Another wave of Conqueror Haki flew out of Batilda. An unholy rage in her eyes. If stating that they have killed the love of her life wasn't bad enough, then the claim of defiling his body like that did it. In Poultry, the dead are to be cremated, for only then their soul can pass on.

Leaving someone to be eaten by maggots, which are the food of commoners, is a grave insult. Not even their enemies, the hated World Government's soldiers, are treated in such a way.

Batilda screeched in rage, her eyes had turned black as well. Her whole body was now coated in an extremely strong Haki “I will rip your eyes out, pull your claws and break your beak! I will take revenge for your betrayal! When I am done you will plead for death!”

With a displacement of air, she shot off, straight at Andreas, who too had started to move. Their claws coated in midnight black Haki and their aura radiating off of their bodies. The air crackled under the force of their energy.

Their wings clashed in the middle of the room. The air around them got pushed away from the force of their attack and a rippling dome of visible air got blown away from them, followed by a loud boom.

Batilda swung her wing at Andreas, the white flame markings were clearly showing the condensed Haki she was currently using. Andreas lifted his own wing, his previously white feathers were now coloured black as well. He too had a flame pattern, it was coloured in a yellow tone.

Both wings clashed with a loud smack. Their bodies were flung backwards and into the concrete wall. Yet neither stayed long enough for the stone to fully break. They shot out of it with a speed that caused further harm to the wall.

On her flight, Batilda clawed the air with her right leg and created a trio of force blades. They raced at Andreas, who too clawed the air. His three talons had the same effect and their respected attacks met each other in the middle.

The force cancelled each other out and only a dust cloud remained. The same cloud exploded a moment after, the shock wave of clashing wings caused it to get blown away. Both were using geppo and their wings to stay airborne, while simultaneously trying to gut their opponent with either a razor-sharp claw or hit them with a steel-hard wing.

Each strike was skilfully parried or blocked, each claw deflected or countered. Andrea's smaller body made him more manoeuvrable, but Batilda's skill in Observation Haki was so strong that she could glimpse into the future. She knew where he was going to move and acted accordingly. Her stronger, bigger, body only got further enhanced by the rage she was feeling.

They had just clashed their wings again when they were momentarily interrupted by the two humans from down below. They came up to their level. The lower ground was starting to be flooded with sea water. Someone has destroyed the walls which were keeping the sea at bay.

Batilda saw the transformed Lucci and knew how to use a chance. She fainted an attack at Andreas side to get another wing past his him. Her wing strike caused another force blade and flew past Andreas.

He looked smug for a moment, but then realised that so did she too. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the deadly, Haki enhanced, attack was heading straight at Lucci.

And even Andreas, who was a backstabbing, betraying, lowly worm of a pigeon, had something like friends. He jumped back and raced to Lucci, intent to stop the attack from seriously wounding his longtime companion.

Lucci, with his heightened senses, was still only able to register the attack when it was too late for him to evade. He was feeling the strength in Hattori and his opponent's respective auras.

Shocked as he was by the strength of his small friend he was still able to put that at the back of his mind to fight against the Straw Hat. But now he was in the middle of his friends fight and a target. He knew that not even his strongest tekkai would protect him against this attack. He won't die, but a fight against the still strong Straw Hat would become way harder, if not downright impossible.

He readied himself and faced the attack without fear. But then Hattori appeared in front of him and crossed both his wings in a protective block.

Hattori cooed loud and powerful, preparing himself mentally for the impact. The force blade hit Hattori's crossed wings dead centre and he pushed against the force, grunting from the pressure behind the attack. Lucci, who was directly behind him, helped by pressing his hand against Hattori's back. He was trying to stop them from being thrown backwards by using one geppo after the other.

Together they defused the power behind Batilda's sneak attack.

However, their trouble wasn't over. Straw Hat Luffy came from down below, while Batilda herself came at them with blinding speed. Her body was rotating and her beak aimed at the still crossed wings of Hattori. Sparks of energy trailed behind her.

The pressure of her aura was almost too strong for Lucci, his eyelids lowered briefly before he shook himself out of the stupor. For just a moment he almost passed out then and there.

He turned his body downwards to block the Straw Hat's kick, while Hattori activated his own tekkai and put every ounce of mental strength behind his Armament Haki.

Luffy reached Lucci first, his Gear Second enhanced foot crashed right into the guard of Lucci. The still airborne Zoan user was not able to keep himself steady with geppo and got pushed through the ceiling into another storage room. Luffy followed right behind.

The moment they were gone Batilda's beak speared into Andrea's defence. Both of their aurae fought for supremacy. Energy sparks flew off from them and for a moment it looks like they were evenly matched.

But then Batilda flapped her wings and increased the pressure once more. Andreas Haki broke and the razor sharp beak of Batilda pierced into his wing, breaking his defence. He could no longer keep up and his body was thrown back.

He flew right through the stone wall and out of the tower.

His body skipped a few times on the water before he could move. He regained control with a flap of his wings and a well-placed geppo. He kinda regrets now to have riled Batilda up with his lies about her husband's death.

He evaded another force blade from Batilda, before rotating out of the way from her claw. The duck under her wing swipe was harder and the followed up strong peck of her beak almost impossible.

He tried to counter by kicking out at her left side, but she saw the attack with her Haki and parried it with a downwards strike of her left wing.

They were locked in combat for a few minutes. He was trying to get out of the defence, while Batilda did her best in trying to rip the intestines out of him.

He has just evaded another deadly swipe of her wing when he used the brief lull in her attacks to claw up with both of his feet. She evaded backwards and Andreas used his wings to get some space between himself and her.

This wasn't good, he desperately thought. He knew that she will be stronger, but to think that she was so much above him was frightening.

He needed some distraction or a tick. And that fast!

“DIE!”

The screech of Batilda rippled the sea and threw waves up. A blast of Haki hit a nearby Marine ship and rendered everyone but the strongest unconscious.

Andreas had only enough time to think 'Oh fuck me' before the pain train hit him. Batilda's right wing came down on his two blocking wings. His already wounded wing broke almost instantly, while the other was pushed away.

The sea under them got cut in two, the water shot metre high into the air and then the force behind Batilda's rage-filled attack fully connected. Andrea's was thrown away. He crashed into the sea and caused a massive explosion of water.

The trench closed itself over him and he got buried under tons of water. Water that was giving him an opportunity. He would hide swim back to the tower and hide his presence.

He will retreat and bid his time for a future fight. When he has trained some more. He was hoping that she wouldn't try to use Lucci against him. If she does then he has to decide between his only friend or living another day.

And Andreas wasn't sure which he would take.

Luckily, or unluckily, depending on the point of view, he would not need to decide. Because the space beside him cut apart by a strong force blade.

Batilda was still locked on his position and an escape would be impossible until her concentration was broken long enough for him to mask his aura and hide.

He evaded another, from the water slowed down, attack and had an empathy. If Batilda was using his friend, then so could he. He has seen the long-ear girl Batilda has befriended. Slicer Lara, someone who could give Batilda a nickname, one that got accepted by her, will be a dear friend.

He has spotted her and the twin of her just a moment before Batilda has blasted him into the sea. They were on their way to the Bridge of Hesitation. With a few swift swings of his wing, one throbbing from the break, he was on his way and shooting towards the two rather strong presences of the Blood Elven Twins.

He was followed by Batilda's force blades until they suddenly stopped. That was the moment he knew, that she knew, what he was going to do. He shot up and aimed right at Slicer Lara's heart. He may have stolen the attack from Batilda, but that was unimportant now.

His body shot out of the water and his aim was almost on point.

He flapped his wings to gain even more speed and started to spin his body. The slightly surprised expression of Slicer Lara was enough to show him that she would not be able to react.

His body was only a black and yellow blur when he shot at her. He wasn't out of the water for a second, when he reached her. His mind was already celebrating the death of Batilda's friend when his body impacted with an invisible shield.

The shield broke, but not before defusing most of Andrea's piercing power as well as momentum. He was wondering how and why, when the claw of Batilda impacted with his head.

Again he was thrown away, again he was in a lot of pain, but this time he knew that it was over. The hit broke his skull. He would no longer be able to fight.

With the last bit of strength, he noted that he wasn't drowning or in the claws of Batilda, but falling down a deep black pit. The kick has thrown him into the pit under Enies Lobby.
