《Vagrant — CYBERPUNK / SCI-FI》Hiatus Update (advice needed)

Hey guys. I think this announcement is long overdue! Obviously, this story has been on hiatus for a minute.
I wanted to apologize for that. Life got crazy with school, work, and I went through some drastic changes with my social life. Heartbreak is always fun!
That being said, there are some concerns I have with this story. Taking a look at my account, you can see I'm a fantasy writer. Scifi and fantasy are siblings, at least to me, but scifi is the scary older brother I never wanted to look at.
I fear I'm not doing the genre justice with this story, but I've received so much positive feedback and have had a few people approach me, asking if it will continue.
I am going to take some time to reread what I've written and see if I can get myself out of this rut. I am going to tackle this mindgame I'm playing with this genre, and just run with it. It might not be the best cyberpunk story in existence (and is probably far from it), but I LOVE the characters in this story. And it seems like you guys do too.
I have a few chapters backlogged and will post those soon.

The Way Ahead
What do you do when you don't fit in? Edwin never really felt many connections to other people, but as a physics student, that was fine. He didn't really need it, anyway. I loved Biology - always have, and always will. Unfortunately for me, years of fruitless research whittled away what little joy I had left in what I did. Inspired by an overconsumption of Japanese light novels, manga, and anime... expect their influence to slowly but surely take hold.

Elements of Reality
Sages. when one looks up the term in the dictionary, ignoring the plant variation, it means: A profoundly wise man. That, is not what it means to most people in this story. A Sage is a being beyond other humans, capable of moving the elements of the world to his will, and able to do impressive feats of strength. Kazuya Hiiro is a Sage, one of many in the world, born with the power to control elements, said power unlocked at the age of twelve. The only issue was... there were only ten elements right?
