Dear Spellbook,
Sorry about the abrupt cut off. The reset occurred while I was writing. Probably for the best. I was fantasizing about revenge and got carried away. I’m sure Levar has a good explanation for why the goods he sold me caused me to vomit uncontrollably, pass out and wake up partially paralyzed from the waist down. There must be a totally reasonable explanation.
I just awoke to the comparatively lesser misery of a sleep deprived hangover. I need to get a start on with the day and an explanation from my new friend.

Dan Martin has a good life. He's respected at his job, and enjoys his work. He is close to his family, and they love and support him. With engaging hobbies, relative financial security, and freedom to learn and pursue his interests, Dan is happy. So it's not particularly welcome when he's selected by an inscrutable and seemingly omnipotent System as a test subject. The downsides: All of this is insane and by any rational analysis he's gonna die. I am very much a beginner as an author, and any feedback or suggestions on how to improve would be deeply appreciated. Chapter releases should be daily for the first two weeks and sporadic after that as I use up my buffer. Please consider this work as a rough draft subject to revision and/or retcon. It is not only my first attempt at original story telling, but at world building and RPG style system design. The latter has been very difficult, even drawing on the brilliant work of many RPGs and LitRPGs for inspiration. Thank you to any willing to give a new story and a new writer a try!

Julian was your normal happy go lucky kid in his younger years. He did everything that a normal 10-year-old that came from a relatively middle class family. It had become clear to Julian that the heavens did not favor him, so he left on one last journey when… ***** Ahhh I don't really know what else to add but ill write it here anyway, this is my first time writing a story, so I am still experimenting with things, so it is possible that you might find the beginning of the story to be a bit slow, but I assure you the later chapters and things I have in plan will not disappoint you. Oh, I also forgot to mention that I have taken inspiration from waaaay tooo many novels that I liked, and while there aren't any specific ones that I based this upon there are a few that I definitely took inspiration from like : the author's POV, chronicles of the heavenly demon [you can probably see where this inspired me ;)], etc.
