《Mosquito Hivemind Hell-Bent on World Domination (or Annoyance)》13: A man must always be dapper and well-dressed in order to fo to the library

Once I return to my lair, I do so with an ever greater need to complete my heist than I had before. My sense of accomplishment from all this may be great, but this was only a prelude to the true heist!!
Well back in my lair, I find that all of the mosquitos have actually already returned, which I am very happy for. Now, before I dress myself in this excellent outfit, if I may say so myself, I have to do the dirty deed of assessing our losses. Nothing I want to thing about, but... Until I'm finished, will the lot of you Vampires take in the blood that we gained from this full-frontal assault?
Right, right. Let's see here...
All mosquitos under control
Mosquitos
167 021
Bloodsuckers 29 000 Petite Vampires 5 800
Mmm, alright. Not too bad, but also not very good. I lost right around... 21 989 mosquitos, so... alright, I'll be back in a moment, allow me to return the stats to how they were previously.
...
...Welcome back!
All mosquitos under control
Mosquitos
189 000
Bloodsuckers 29 000 Petite Vampires 5 800
As you can see, everybody's back, so we can dig into the real meat of this heist! The clothes!
Right now, they're all laid out on the floor, with the hat, sunglasses and bandana at the top, coat and gloves around the midsection, and pants and shoes at the bottom. It's good that we grabbed a pair of rather long pants since we don't have any socks, but a compressed bundle of mosquitos should look something like a pair of wool socks, even though nobody would wear that in the summer like this.
Regardless! My first order of business is to from the skeleton that this well-chosen outfit will rest upon. It'll be made mostly with normal mosquitos packed together, but some parts will be Bloodsuckers and others will be Vampires, specifically the hands and feet where good defence is needed.

Everyone, into formation! Bloodsuckers, you will create a human-like skeleton! Mosquitos, you will form the muscle and organs surrounding them! Now, even more Bloodsuckers, create a skin! Ah, shift the entire hands and feet for Bloodsuckrs, and make the fingers and soles Vampires! And, finally...
Head, open up!
On my command, the head-part of this extremely humanoid creation parts like the red sea, revealing an empty cavity within. I fly inside.
Vampires, join my, but leave a hole for me to see through!
A thousand or so vampires join me in there, and we have created something of a human. It will be hard to steer, but-,
A humanoid form has been created.
Would you like to assume mode?
...Oho? Pilot mode? If that is anything like it sounds... -Sign me in!!
mode has been activated.
Everything goes black, and in the next second...
I-,, I feel my limbs? Found human limbs, like the ones I used to have, but... But I'm tall, as I designed myself to be! Tall and lanky!! Hell yessss!!
I hold my hands in front of my. My arm, my uncovered arm, is a coal-black, which isn't strange, since it was formed out of close to a hundred thousand mosquitos. My hand, however, is red, with the fingers being a more blueish-tint. The same can be said for my feet, and this is probably the best thing I have ever experienced.
I try jumping into the air, and at the slightest whim, the quaintest thought, I simply take to flight. Sure, my flight is extremely slow, but... But if I made a humanoid figure out of only Bloodsuckers, or even Vampires...!! The possibilities are endless, and the mere thought of it gives me grand visions, of a mosquito-cluster floating ominously outside of a dainty maiden's open window, only to sneak inside, becoming a cloud to pass the window only to return to my humanoid shape, sinking my millions of fangs into her tender flesh....!

Ah, I digress! Floating back to the ground, I step down with the greatest care, making sure not to squish any of my underlings. Before me lies the clothes. I have a body. It is time to get dressed.
...Maybe I should have stolen a suit and shirt, just to look even a bit more dapper-? Ah, too late for that! I drape myself in the specifically-chosen coat, buttoning it gingerly, tying the belt and making sure the lapel was as it was supposed to be. No regrets. And then, the pants. Maybe I should have put on the pants first, but an excited mind is incapable of logic. The pants fit perfectly, and so do the shoes and gloves. Finally, I put on my bandana, letting it cover both my mouth and my neck, and then my sunglasses, and, finally... the hat. Oh, how I wish I had a mirror!
A tall gentleman in a slouch's coat... I have never been more excited to go to the library.
As that thought passes my mind, I briefly wonder something... Can I speak? Can I currently manipulate the buzz of my Vampire mosquitos so that they sound anything like human voices?...
Only one way to find out!
"Bzzzzz"
...Not a very good first attempt, but here we go.
"Bzzziz. Bzziz bzz. Bzzizste, bzzi, zzincozzazzion..."
After some practice, done at the same time as I head out of my lair through the window (flying diagonally on my back to fi through), I finally make a voice, of sorts.
"Zhezzo, zI zam zir Zimzallazim," I say, my voice just a bit too deep and gravelly to sound human enough to be convincing. Right. We'll seal that ability away for now and pretend to be mute.
Once I stood there outside, I started walking towards the centre of town. I've always loved going to the town library, since it had two amazing things that we didn't have at home at the time, namely: books, and, even better, a computer hooked up to the internet. In other words, every day after school, my first place to go was always the library.
-But I'm not a nerd! It was for purely research purposes!!
Anyhoo, after a rather long walk where I was reacquainted to having two legs (and I also got to see my reflection in a window. I look stunning and hot enough to kill,) I finally got there. To the library. I'm not sure why, but for some reason, the place was modelled after the Greek Parthenon, with marble pillars and everything. Well, I'm not sure if it's real marble, but it's white and bit.
I enter, walking up the stairs with no little amount of trepidation. One good thing, at least, is that the stairs leading up to the library are now no longer too large for me to cross in one step, but are, instead, of the perfect size. When comparing myself to these dim-witted sheep swarming around me, I am easily far taller than them, meaning that these stairs are, in fact, just not well designed.
-Curse you, architects!!
Thinking so, I ṕull open the doors of the library and head inside. Inside, I am greeted by an open area filled with bookcases, the second floor being more of a surrounding area, meaning that one can see from the first floor to the second floor. The personal computer is on the second floor. Sure, there are plenty of computers down here that can be used, but they're only for searching the library's storage of books.
There is only a single computer here that is not for that purpose.
I head upstairs, gleefully taking two steps at a time for the first time in my life. Once upstairs, I head to the left, and soon, I reach the computer, only to find it...
Occupied.
....Curse you public libraries!!

Zombies
This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
