Long story short the past few months have been a rollercoaster of different issues. None of them were very big, but they added up. I'm finally healing, but I had a lot of time to think.

I fucked up early on in making the setting. I love weird and cool monsters, so what do I do? Create a world where the monsters are just 'animals but better'. Whenever I thought of anything cool I thought of a reason why it couldn't work with the rules as written, so the story started leaning more and more on the magic 3d printer shit, which I was far less enthusiastic about.

I still do like the general concept, might revisit it later, but don't hold your breath.
