To all my readers, you have my most sincere apologies. And to those who have continued to comment your support, ask for me to continue, and the poor people who subbed to me on patreon, (no-one had subbed, so i never thought to disable it. I am so sorry.) you have my most sincere gratitude. I have spent much of my life battling illness, both physical and mental, and getting the cocktail of drugs to line up just right is an immense challenge my doctors have done their best to meet. Unfortunately, most anti-psychotics and anxiety medications tend to cloud your mind, and once a shift in my physical health resulted in a medication incompatibility, I was sent on a two year spiral of trying every medication they could throw at me. Those that worked took my mind, which was unnacceptable, and those that didn't work left me quite insane. I have finally found a balance of all my medications that leaves me sane enough, clear headed, and the side effects are bearable. It feels like for the first time in a long time, I have my soul back.
Now, enough about that, and back to the part those of you still reading are interested in. I am once again working on Gaia Awakens. As many of you might remember, Pike's side of things was not the strongest side of my story. The Sheriff is getting a moderate reboot. I'm stretching out the chain of events over weeks rather than a 2 day weekend of berserker rednecks immune to fear debuffs. I am a good few chapters in, and have a better outline made than I ever had with the original draft. To anyone who doesn't wish to re-read, I am adding, not taking much away. There will be minor changes, and much more character development, but they will end up in mostly the same place.

As for Damien, I did a fair bit more research on bugs, and I'm going to be adding a few cousins of existing species early on for the sake of realism, and likely adding a few chapters of tiny scale war and adventure. Again, he will end up in the same place, although the last few chapters will likely be re-done. I had tried to keep writing durring my decent into madness and my clouded mind, and they were not up to a standard I was comfortable with.
I may end up creating a new "book" on here for the re-write, as the chapters will not match up and I already butchered the chapter order with my first set of revisions and re-orderings. That is to be determined. I do not know how long this will take, but I will not be posting anything on RR until the new draft is complete and I can begin to write truly new content, and continue Damien's adventure in the earth you know, but changed in ways you will never see.
Thank you all for your support. You have been the light in my darkness, and believing that you would still be here when I became whole again, and that I could share this story with you once more is the only thing that stopped me from giving up.
