List of retcons to come -- gonna redo prior chapters to match:

1. Date -- Moving from ~2060 to ~2025 (includes names, references, height, futurism)

2. System -- numbers, dates, magic, stats, costs ... more focus on powers of 2.

All shuffled to make roughly the same characters, system, but allowing more growth later.

3. A couple flashes of a status screen, even though Snake doesn't like them, and mostly avoids.

4. More humanity to prisoners

5. More introspection while wandering -- knowing he's drifting, and hoping to find a path.

6. More male appearance-improvement, not just female, though maybe not much more noticing by Snake. Not his vibe.

7. Links to some references in chapter, maybe

8. I can't make Piyu's accent in my head be anything but a particularly pronounced posh British-ish accent. Not just RP, but ... perhaps a smidge more musical than Hermione. She reminds me of an upper class internationally educated Indian friend with whom I taught English in Moscow back in the day.

9. No expensive gear: Inner strength dimension.

10. A bit more on who Snake was before the transition.

11. Harder transition to echolocation
