Chapter 95
Behind every one of us stood a giant sword, and before everyone, a screen showed up. The first screen to show something was Haru’s
“Your sin!” roared the “Gluttony!” and scenes of Haru before him showed up.
He was in a room, he was eating without restraint. The giant sword behind him changed shape to become a smaller one. It was about the size of three meters that penetrated his back. Haru didn’t wince a moment but the Haru inside the room screamed.
“You shall eat and never feel satisfied, you shall forever hunger!’
The sword that penetrated Haru’s back didn’t deal damage but looked exactly like the swords on the field.
Your judgment will last ten years!” he said
Everyone’s face paled. The Haru in the screen would always eat various amounts of food and never feel filled. He looked disgusting… it was pitiful and angered me greatly. I tried to move but the sword hummed and I couldn’t do anything.
“Wait your turn!” said the man.
“You,!” he said pointing at Misaka who was next to Haru. Her face paled with fright but she couldn’t move
The giant sword behind her changed shape and became a bit longer than Haru's, about four meters long.
“Vanity!” he said “You always thought yourself to be above others!
The screen before Misaka opened up showing her in poor wears, people walked near her, she looked like a homeless person where she was treated like dirt.
“for fifteen years, you shall feel the same that those below you have felt!”
Then the sword pierced her back. And the one on the screen squirmed.
Nemu was next.
“You filthy lizard!” said the man “Sloth!” he shouted
Then the giant sword changed shape and became almost ten meters long.
It pierced through the think skin of the dragon with ease and he was projected in the screen, the dragon who used to sleep a lot looked tired, haggard and insomniac, unable to sleep or rest, forever tired and exhausted yet never able to rest.
“You lizard, your kind live long, yet you sleep and do nothing the most, you shall suffer the same time you spent slothing around, two thousand years!” he said
So it seems that the higher the grade of the sin, the more severe is the punishment.

“Why are you doing this!” I said, “Shouldn’t you fight us?”
“Fight? Said the man with a laugh, “I don’t need to fight, I only judge, once your judgment is done you may leave this place. But you must wait your time!” said the man and pointed next towards Haruka.
“You! ENVY!” he said as he pointed at the girl
Envy? How come? I thought and the screen showed up.
Haruka in the screen showed up. She looked to be lonely. People would pass her, however, these people all had the same face… it was mine…
Then females showed up, they were with these people, their partners, they looked like every girl I have ever seen. Misaka was there, Haruna, the elven princess, Lilith, some girls from our class, and many more, they all had partners, all of them looked exactly like me, but still, Haruka was alone. She would try to talk to them but they would ignore her and sneer and walk away…
Envy… huh, now I get it… sigh, talk about a dense shonen main character… I look exactly like one of them now… sigh, I need to fix this once this is over
“Hey, old man, why are you doing this? Who gave you the right to judge us! Don’t you think you are being unfair?”
“Unfair?! Me?!” roared the man “I can never be unfair! If I was I would then take your judgment! I have judged people for thousands of years and never have I mistreated anyone! Don't call me unfair.” He said then pointed at Shara.
“You traitorous vixen, you betrayed the heavens due to your sullen nature, Lust!”
The giant sword behind her changed and grew smaller as a sword about twenty meters long pierced her body and her figure was projected on the screen.
She looked forward, she was in a small town, looking around there was a puddle of water where she looked at herself. Her face was ugly, she had puss growing on her face, her skin was trembling. And she looked plagued with diseases. Around here were many people, mostly males that looked at her with disgust…
Some of them feared her and moved back, and some sneered at her… some were even laughing and some were… kissing?
Oh, so cruel, to make her lose her beauty and put her in a town filled with gay people… what a sad fate.

“A thousand years you have lusted, a thousand years you shall suffer.”
He then looked at Vendir who was squinting his eyes.
“How come you judge without us even telling you our sins?” said Vendir.
“I don’t to have to see your sins, I look at your soul and it tells me the worst you have done, as for you,! Murder! Sacrifice! Betrayal! Arrogance! And greed!”
The giant sword behind vendir only shrank a bit, retaining almost two-thirds of the size it used to have. Almost seventy-five meters long the blade pierced Vnedir as he shuddered.
He appeared in a vast place, above a platform he was to be hanged and many people would look down on him, throwing rotten vegetables at him and cursing his name.
The pedestal dropped and he was hanged, then moments later the judgment changed and it was now a guillotine.
The scenes of Vendir dying times and times again were truly shocking.
It seems this circle is our end. I never believed that there would be something this powerful, able to restrain us and do whatever he liked. It seems that this divine is truly powerful and this circle deserves its name… circle of judgment…
“As for you!” said the man as he looked at me with a piercing gaze, he then shuddered as he said
“H-Hercy!! You dared kill a god!” he said and the sword behind me changed, unlike theirs that shrunk, the one behind me grew much larger than theirs, reaching an enormous size.
The moment it came down the man’s face was haggard, almost afraid of the sheer size of the sword.
It struck my back and the screen began to project something, however the screen instantly turned dark and the sword stopped.
I laughed for a moment, as I understood what was happening.
“So much for justice, old man…” I said then the sword was removed from my back and appeared behind the man.
“What?! Impossible! What is going on?!” he said
“You seem to have triggered your own demise,” I said. “For that, I have already paid for my sins, and today is the day where you have misjudged,” I said with a smirk
The sword came down on the man who was unable to dodge or move.
It pierced his back and a screen projected his suffering. He said that if he mistreated anyone then he will receive their punishment. And I have already taken mine when I was in hell. So I saw the man suffer for all the time I spent there, burning dying reviving and suffering more, agony beyond compare and loneliness, helplessness and more demise…
The man’s forehead cracked and his skin began to shudder.
The giant sword seemed to be riddled with cracks as it hummed with intensity.
Looking at my companions they begin to be released from their mental prison, one by one.
“Oh god! Finally” said Haru who looked disgusted, he even threw up a bit.
Misaka soon followed where she had an even paler face, saying “That was awful!”
The dragon soon woke up feeling more annoyed than bothered
“What a ludicrous dream.”
“Haruka left the space and looked around, once our eyes made contact her face turned red and she turned back. Embarrassed that her desires were revealed.
Sigh
Soon was Shara’s turn
Once she woke up she turned around looking at me and gave me the ‘look’
Ah so annoying…
Finally, it was Vendir’s turn
“well, I never thought that you can be hated that much by people… he said as he rubbed his neck”
“What happened?” said Vendir “it looks like that guy has been judged the same as us”
I smirked before replying
“He tried to punish me for sins I have already been punished for, thus being unjust, it seems the sword of judgment deemed him to be unfair and gave him all of my sins for him to bare,” I said as I walked by the stunned man.
“How come?” Said Misaka
“The time I spent in hell was my punishment for the actions I am about to commit. And he tried to judge me for things I already suffered for, now let's move, no need to wait here. We need to get to that tower, we might find a way out of this place.” I said as I walked forward.

The Ruins of Magincia
They say all things end in time, but the exalted City of Magi would’ve begged to differ. Yet when an attempted coup goes wrong, the city finds itself brought to the very brink of destruction. In the wake of the calamity that left no survivors, the autonomous infrastructure still operating the ruined city seeks to restore what was lost. Luckily for it, the Mana-devoid Universe it awoke in holds an unexpected surprise: a planet full of sentient life forms. All capable—with a little help—to become the next generation of Magi. Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia. Now, she must struggle to learn magic, compete for resources, get good 'grades,' and fulfill the seemingly arbitrary requirements for her future job in this broken city. All while keeping herself, and her son, alive. Is the miracle of magic really enough to make up for all the pain? The Ruins of Magincia is a dark fantasy that's heavy on the drama (LitRPG aspects are very light). Chapter lengths can be anywhere from 7k-12k and there's no current release schedule as I'm focusing on wrapping up volume one.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.

Midnight Origins: Arrival
On a lush planet known as Bhar, Verun is now the leading nation in the development of the rivaled schools of Magic and Science. Having brought forth an era of peace and prosperity for themselves through the development of Magitech, The High council was eager to spread their knowledge and beliefs to the furthest reaches of the continent, with the goal of ending senseless conflicts and prioritizing advancements in Magitech and improving the quality of life. This ambition, however, is not without opposition. Most followers side with one school or another, believing it is superior in nature. This conflict dates back to the very beginning of civilization itself, where it is believed by both sides that their gods descended from the heavens, bestowing upon them the knowledge that would bring the world into a new age. And though some took great interest in their differences, others would seek to convert each other through any means necessary. That being the case, The High council, leaders of Verun, had made the necessary preparations to handle threats and attempt diplomacy between the remaining opposers. Talented volunteers were hand chosen to be among the military, tasked with protecting the nation from both internal and external threats. And although non-biological creations have improved quality of life, they are not yet capable of replacing the military. The necessary research and development for such a thing was thought to be decades away, until Councilman Eranor encountered an anomaly in his facility…
