“Wow, this human is stronger than the wolves.”
“Yes.” Another spirit of the hive answered. “If the rest of the humans are as strong as this human, no wonder the humans are destroying the pack so far.”
“Only 2 of the wolves are left, and 7 of the humans.”
“That makes our decision easier.”
“Decision? What decision?”
“The decision on who to kill of course! We need to help the wolves against the humans.”
“Uh…why?”
“Because killing 2 wolves after killing 7 humans are easier than killing 7 humans after killing 2 wolves.”
The tunnel leading to the third room was long and after losing their shieldman, the group of humans moved slowly. They were wary of another ambush but they need not have bothered. When they reached the third room, the group could see the 2 remaining wolves near the center of the room. The wolves were growling at them and the humans could see the pups behind, just steps from yet another tunnel leading further into the mountain.
“By the 99 Gods, just how deep is this cave?” the hairless human asked.
Without answering the question, the human with the 2-hand sword took the lead and entered the third room. The group entered after him. The moment the last human entered, the entrance was immediately blocked when tow bars shot out of the ground. The humans turned around and looked at the bars in surprise. Then the human named Jundal swiftly turned to look at the far wall of the room. The rest of the humans followed but saw nothing.

“Jundal?” Boss said. “What are we looking at?”
“The spirits!” The human replied. “They are gathering.”
“What!” Boss turned to look further into the tunnels. “There’s another mage like you here? Where is he?”
“No,” to the hive, the human named Jundal sounded fearful. “Not like me. Not like me at all.”
Then it happened. A small light appeared in the wall. The humans readied their weapons, all thoughts of the wolves gone from their minds. From this small light, something amazing happened. A head came out of the wall. Followed by a body; a body filled with green energy. Everyone stopped breathing as You-Who-Are-Not-Bear appeared in its’ full disturbing glory.
“A…a spirit bear!” The hairless human exclaimed. “That’s a spirit bear!”
“A high druid but…there hasn’t been a high druid in Yachium in 20 years.” Boss said. “A Yaslayan!”
“I don’t think Yaslay has a high druid either Boss.”
“Well, someone summoned this…”
“Talk later,” one of the hunters said. “It’s going to attack!”
Indeed it was. You-Who-Are-Not-Bear gave a roar that stunned the humans for a moment. It then immediately charged. The fight was on!

The day they became Mortal
Paladins and Vampires have always been sworn enemies. While the Paladins were blessed with the power of Apollo, made to heal and to wield the power of light itself, the vampires were immortal beings with heightened senses, strength and speed. For centuries the two lived in general peace, while the paladins built their kingdom Appollis, the vampires resided in the sanguine lands of Sareth. All changed however when an unknown paladin poisoned the special water supply of the vampires with Blackrye, a plant that to the vampire's horror removed their right to eternal life. No longer protected from illness or the relentlessness of time the vampires were forced to indulge in more blood. Soon enough a war broke out between the two kingdoms, a war that would cost the life of King Barron of Appollis and the sanity of Queen Diana of Sareth. Their heirs were too young to ascend the throne, forcing the two kingdoms to hastily form a truce until both princes were old enough to rule their lands. Five years after the blood war Arrin of Appollis and Ophyr of Sareth rule their respective kingdoms, despite having been kings for a few years and heavily disliking each other due to their past, they decided to keep the truce in place. What happens however when Arrin decides to kidnap the vampire king after he unfortunately stumbled upon Appollonian terrain?
