《The Daily Diary of a Mushroom》~Update 3~ Oh no, not another one

I haven't even uploaded a chapter since the update, they now hae a specific section for the top author notes and the bottom? Awesome.
Anyway, I really didn't want to do another one of these so soon, or ever again really, but I haven't uploaded in over a month and I thought you guys deserved to know why, especially since I promised someone there would be a chapter this week. I have done some writing, but I don't think the chapter will be out until next week, sorry.
To be honest I'm sure those that have been here for a while are getting tired of this, I won't blame you if you unfollow this ficiton. XD Even though I feel really guilty about not bringing out a chapter every week I still manage to be over a month late. -_-
Anyway, if you're interested in why I haven't uploaded it's simple, I just haven't felt like writing. I had three weeks off of work whilst the building was being renovated and instead of writing a few chapters a week like I planned to I ended up catching up on all the games that have built up in my backlong whilst I've been working/writing. (I still don't get how so many authors manage to upload so many high quality chapters so quickly and work a full time job on top of it when I can't even do so working part time. I'm looking at you BC.)
Then after that was up I've just been getting really awful shifts which has zapped what little energy I have, so yeah I'm a lazy author. Still, writing now, also I worked it out, if I can get up to chapter 24 by December 23rd then technically I've done two chapters a month! How did I upload so many chapters when I first started?

Anyway, I wasn't only sitting around playing games in those three weeks, I was in talks with an artist on Deviantart and have a front cover! A front cover for book 1 of The Daily Diary of a Mushroom. That's right, I have been editing the earlier chapters (not uploaded them, might do at some point) and am planning on publishing book 1 after the current arc is over. It will be available on Amazon, haven't worked out most of the details yet, it's my first book after all, but it shouldn't be expensive. I'm also going to pay for someone to proffesionally edit it! It seems weird to have a book called The Daily Diary of a Mushroom proffesionally edited though. XD
Now you're probably wondering, what's someone that can't even upload one chapter a week doing publishing his first book? Well, if I sell enough to live for six months at the same level I can now, then I'll quit my job! That will give me more free time, which will mean more chapters. I won't say several chapters a week, but more. Which to be honest isn't saying too much considering how awful my upload schedule is at the moment.
Back on to the front cover, my friend is doing the typography, which is taking forever, but I can show you the base art, it hints at something to come... Sort of?

Looks kinda serious doesn't it? :D
The artist is great, he's called BartonDH and you should check him out, I'm going to commission him for more stuff in the future after all. I've already done so the for the main character of another one of my story ideas. Here's his page: http://bartondh.deviantart.com/ I love his art style.
So yeah, that's all I have to say in the update really, once again sorry for the delay and to all my new readers hello, expect this to happen more than it should. I'm really thankful that you all continue to read my story. :D

Would do an obligatory favourite character poll, but I want to save it for when the next arcs finished, so I'll just ask you guys, who is your favourite character of the last arc/s? Also, if you have any questions about this story, my other stories or anything else, then feel free to ask, or just yell at me in the comments. :)
