------------
The fifth universe, although the youngest, did not lose out at all. To keep balance, whenever a universe is created, naturally birthed gods would be capable of making others think twice before using dimensional travel.
This universe is divided into four territorial quarters that were made after a large battle with many losses. The south quarter of the universe is ruled by Emperor Adrinus, living near the outer quarter, in the beautiful Rosetta system, seen as a holiday paradise for many powerful individuals to come relax and train in peace.
Although the universe is ruled by power houses, that isn’t to say that these powerhouses do not have followers that are as strong as mortals. The Rosetta system was a system that couldn’t be seen as really powerful. Its strongest ruler is a High Deity with dozens of New Deities and Mythical beings under him.
The system had one star with several planets that were tinkered with by a more powerful person to make the system seem more appealing. Each of these five planets held a different quality that appeals to customers. One is a spa resort, while another is a place to improve one’s powers and purchase tomes that held new spells created by incredible beings.
This system had no appeal other than the relaxation it could bring. Currently, within a beautiful golden palace situated on a floating island with water pouring down from it and into the spotless diamond blue ocean, a middle aged man adorned with simply designed blue armor could be seen going over several strange crystals. Though this man obviously wasn’t simple. The armor, although designed to look plain, emitted a powerful yet faint aura that seemed to be kept under wraps until it was nearly non existent.
The man also gave the feeling of endlessness, as if he were an immovable object. A sudden knock on the door caused this man to raise his head and speak in a firm, coarse voice. “Come in.” Another man, who happened to be his steward, dressed in work related attire, walked in.
“My lord, King Olom has set a date for his arrival here. He has requested we prepare the VIP area located on planet Yush’s farmost section.” Hearing this, the man in blue armor couldn’t help but smirk slightly. Just by looking and listening, it was hard to tell that this man was a High Deity, while the steward was a New Deity.
“Very well. Business is booming and reserving it for him shouldn’t be any problem. Just tell whoever has it now that King Olom is on his way. Who would dare argue with him?” The steward nodded and bowed and was preparing to leave when suddenly everything seemed to shake.

The Rosetta system was covered by a dense asteroid belt similar to Sol’s, except this asteroid belt was enchanted with powerful magic and used as a scanning tool to tell if someone powerful has entered, as a sort of warning signal for uninvited guests who didn’t use the mana warp gate.
The asteroid belt surrounding the Rosetta system suddenly trembled, before a section of these large behemoths exploded apart, some as large as Earth’s moon. A large hole was formed before a tyrannical shadow shot forward into the space in the direction of the Rosetta system with no care. Looking carefully, one could see this was the monstrous creature that was headed towards Seleria, passing through with ravenous excitement.
“SOON!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” The creature’s voice echoed across the entire system with such strength from the reverberation that not even space seemed to be an obstacle. The mortals who were under Master level all felt their insides shake, and they coughed up blood, some even dying on the spot. One could imagine how the children and weaker individuals fared. This truly was a subconscious massacre.
The large creature passed through casually, yet its speed was incredible as it darted through, slivering across space like a snake. It moved passed the planets and sun, but didn’t seem to pay them any attention at all.
At that moment, a flash of light appeared in its direction. It was the High Deity in blue armor, and soon, several flashes appeared behind him, which were the New Deities who followed him. The High Deity had a grim look and quivered a little. “-Just who is this.... Did I offend anyone?!-” Thinking to himself, he watched as the large creature made its way in this direction, and soon the High Deity called out using his sense to get his voice across. “Senior!! Please stay your hand! What have we done to offend you? Please spare us, and we wi-”
He was unable to speak further, as the leviathan-like creature roared out in annoyance “FUCK OFF!!” The creature’s eyes pulsed and it opened its mouth. This tyrannical creature was already large to begin with. Gazing down its mouth, one could only see a void-like darkness before a speck of light appeared and began to grow bigger and bigger.
Suddenly, a ray of red light surged out like a torrent, engulfing the High Deity and his followers in the blink of an eye, turning them to ash in an instant and not giving them time to even flee or scream. The ray of light engulfed the second planet of the system as well, causing it to, quite literally, turn into ash, which then disintegrated into nothingness.
The ray of light soon collided against the star. This caused the star to swell up and quiver before blue cracks started to appear on its molten surface. The star swelled and exploded, as if it were trying to stabilize itself but couldn't because of the ray of power that tampered with it.
The supernova that followed was not at all strong compared to most this creature had seen, but for these planets and the system it was their doom. The planets caught in this supernova were blown apart into space dust, but as the supernova neared this creature, it continued to pass through, not moving an inch from its direction, as if its eyes had gazed toward a point in space, and the closer it got the hungrier it grew. “One year, and I’ll have what I want!!’ The creature’s voice surged out again before its planet sized body vanished into the depths of space.

Within the point of Adrinius territory, on a beautiful, spotless planet with milky white seas not of blue water, but a glossy, near transparent equivalent with clouds seemingly in the ocean and not in the air, as well as fish and other lifeforms swimming across it happily.
On a small island, there was a plain looking house seemingly carved from white gold. This house had a garden with several beautiful trees that resembled cherry blossoms, except the color of these flowers and petals was an assortment of green and red.
A man wearing a blue, silk, hakama-like robe which was intricately designed with angel-like wings and the very same looking flowers that bloomed on the trees in this garden was enjoying a cup of tea on a simple table with a clove under it. He was quite handsome, with shoulder length golden blonde hair and a face that would make girls scream in lust. He emitted a very particular aura, one that was not violent, but not at all forgiving. It moved around him, faintly flickering like a candle that could explode into an inferno at any moment.
This was Emperor Adrinius, a mid stage Supreme Deity. Adrinus was enjoying himself alone, but he suddenly blinked as he seemed to feel something. He waved his hand and a flash of light surrounded him, revealing many endless points of light. He pointed towards one point and it zoomed in to show it, as if there were a camera set up. This was a magic of such high quality that even he a Monarch could only use it when something dire happened. To establish the spell, he would have to spend quite a lot of resources and have someone enter the sector he pointed in to recreate the watcher’s rune that he used.
Adrinus looked at the Rosetta system and watched as the tyrannical creature entered and made short work of it before passing on, as if it were bothersome. Adrinus suddenly quivered in fear. He placed the cup of tea onto the table and had a nervous look. “What could Orphelium be doing! He destroyed one of my systems.....”
He clenched his teeth and his hands balled up into fists as the flickering, candle-like aura he held suddenly exploded out for a moment. But in that moment, he remembered the leviathan creature who was named Orphelium. His strength far surpassed Adrinus’.
“I can only hope it passes. Someone must have angered him. Once he settles his matter, he will be gone. Otherwise, if he continues this rampage in my sector, the others will take advantage of it. I will never understand the minds of Primordial Entities until I become one...” Adrinus let out a forced laugh.
Back on Seleria, the cleanup had gone as expected. Erebus felt that, by Avrin’s words of no one being able to threaten them, that he could feel safer. He decided not to hide anymore and just build a simple, fortress-like village above ground that required a lot of work.
On the third day, Larissa and Amias woke up. It was quite a shocking sight for them to see everything happening before their eyes. Though Asura scared them, he was shooed off by Kael. Eitri and Shandian also came, interested in who these two were. But they also seemed to scare the two and were shooed off by Kael as well.
It was when Erebus arrived and calmly began to explain that Avrin brought them here for some purpose that they calmed down. Erebus was curious in regards to some things and began to talk to them, so the three conversed quietly. Kael had left earlier, needing to tend to the other Spectrals.
Several hours passed and Larissa and Amias had pale looks. “This....really can’t be happening.... Rampaging dragons?... This has to be a dream...” Amias held his head in his hands and looked down.
Erebus came to understand something. Avrin had been in the care of his clan for a while. When Amias left to enter Gaia academy, he was only there for two years before he suddenly blacked out, and when he woke up, he was here with no recollection of what happened. He hadn’t aged after those two years, but had found out much more time had passed. He didn’t know the fate of his parents, his sisters, his grandfather and kinsmen. It put him in a real downcast mood.
Larissa was even worse. She was in tears and held her mouth, trying not to make too much noise. She was more openly worried about her family. She remembered that a year after she had met Avrin, her group, brother and friends included, found a cave filled with dangerous creatures. They felt it would be great to explore and gain experience, so they entered. She remembered using her Mana Beholder and, like Amias, blacking out.
She thought carefully, wondering if they were attacked beforehand. She hoped her friends and brother survived that potential ordeal, and if that was the case, even hoped they survived the recent catastrophe. Erebus was quiet. He didn’t have all the answers, as Avrin had to leave as soon as he arrived. He could only do his best to make them feel at home.
“In two years, the Lord Monarch will return from his training. Though he told me to tell you both this.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out the two Conversion Cores Avrin had given him. After giving a brief yet detailed explanation of what Avrin told him and what these could do, it was left to them both.
Amias was thinking things over. He wasn’t sure what to make of this. “I don’t want to give up on my family.... I’m going to search for them, so I cannot accept.” Amias stood up and bowed. Larissa glanced at him and saw how determined he was. She also stood up and bowed. “I am the same. This is all still new and strange for me. I cannot stay here while not knowing the fate of my family.”
Erebus looked on calmly and took a breath before smiling. “You both know traversing from here to the port city that is slowly being rebuilt is dangerous, correct?” His words held some merit, as they both thought about it. They knew the northern continent was dangerous. Amias felt a little nostalgia, as his people's origins were from here, so he felt a little braver. “Yes. But what choice do we have?” He spoke softly.
One could see he was shaken by all this, but forced himself to remain calm. Erebus glanced at the two and thought carefully. If Avrin, who sealed their converting abilities, created these two Conversion Cores of his own purity for these two, then they must be important to him. “--Kael, I need your assistance--” He used a telepathic link with his Divine Sense to reach Kael, who was helping construct a house.
Kael was a little surprised and rushed over with curiosity. Kael glanced at Amias and Larissa and the two glanced back. Amias, looking at Kael, felt a little jealous. He remembered how Avrin treated him somewhat distantly and he felt maybe he was a bother. “Kael, I want you to help these two find their families.
There should be very few who can fight you, and even then, the chance of meeting them in a confrontation is low. In two years, when the Lord Monarch arrives again, I’ll notify him and he may decide to find you. Hopefully by then the task will be complete.”
Erebus spoke in a straightforward tone. Kael blinked a few times before thinking carefully. “If these people are important to Master, then I’ll take care of them.” Kael smiled before looking at the two, who nervously looked back.
Back within Avrin’s inner workings, in the deepest section, where his dark matter core was, he was staring in astonishment at what was hovering above him. It was a white, near transparent blob of light. Avrin could feel that this light was quite large compared to the one that formed Limos. He assumed it would give him something larger and more usable, though looking at it carefully, Avrin felt his inner workings shiver for a moment.
The blob of light suddenly grew into thin arms with two large hands that dwarfed the stick-like arms. It landed on the surface of the core area with no sound. Avrin looked at it with fear. Not because of him fearing it, but because he hoped to god this wouldn't be what he would be using. Though his expression changed from one of weird contempt to one of serious caution.
The blob of light suddenly turned to face him. As it looked at him, its front portion distorted before forming into several disfigured eyes and mouths. It let out an ear piercing roar that didn’t fit it. This roar caused the entire space to tremble. The glowing lights representing Astaroth and Limos quickly surged with power, as if taking precautions.
This blob of white light shrieked and roared as it banged its chest like a crazed gorilla before rushing towards Avrin using its hands as feet. Avrin’s look twisted a little. “You crazed thing. Get away from ME!” Avrin was weirded out enough so that he willed Astaroth to form in his hands. As it appeared, he slashed towards the blob of light on reflex with quite a lot of strength. The blob of light didn’t to stop, and when Astaroth collided with its body, it rippled before it split into two portions as the scythe head passed right through. Avrin was a little surprised and was about to dash away, but the lower portion of the blob suddenly attached itself to his legs stopping him from moving.
The top portion of the blob jumped onto him and its mouth opened widely, showing a bright light which one would think could even brighten up more so than a sun. Avrin winced and soon the blob of light took Avrin’s entire body inside its mouth. The portion of its body that stuck onto his legs connected to the other half. Avrin was completely engulfed inside this blob and its body stirred.
Though the blob held a serious expression, and its body began to expand and contract as it gazed at Avrin’s dark matter core, as if trying to match the beat. The core sent out a pulse, engulfing the blob of light in its energy. Though the energy didn’t seem hostile. In fact, it seemed to be nourishing this blob. At this moment, a stream of transparent purple light shot out from the dark matter core and flew towards the head of the blob of white light. This lasted for only a few seconds before this purple light vanished.
The blob formed by the Skymetal fragment Septim gave him suddenly began to shrink and reform itself. Strangely, it seemed as if it were using Avrin’s body as a measuring tool. It seemed as if it were forming a thick shell around Avrin that would act as armor.
“Not.....” Suddenly, a somewhat distorted voice spoke.
“Not....enough............ Will.....improvise....” Astonishingly,it was the white blob that spoke. It had eyes on the chest portion of the shell that engulfed Avrin, with its mouth over his stomach. Soon, these eyes and mouth vanished before a pulse of light exploded outward.
Avrin, who was inside of this bright light, felt as if he were in a bright void, not standing on anything. He felt his current attire change and shift as this white light crept over it. From head to toe, his clothing was changing. He felt pain and exhaustion for some reason, he was not sure why. But how could he know that his dark matter heart was using a lot of his energy to nourish the Skymetal that engulfed him.
This process had taken a full hour. Although this was inside his soul, it all felt so real. “What’s...going on...!” He panicked a little as he thought. He tried to fight back with all his strength, and this caused the shell to shift slightly. But before he could move more, the shell pulsed out again and seemed to harden in an instant, as if metal had been cooled in water.
But cracks started to appear on this distorted shell, and rays of white and black light shot out. Astaroth, which had been dropped onto the ground after the blob engulfed Avrin, suddenly shrieked as it hurried back to its energy form.
A moment later, the cracking shell of white light exploded, the fragments turning into bits of light that vanished within the Dark Core area. There was no dust that could be seen from the aftermath. All one could see was a figure clad in a glowing, white and black armor. The black portions seemed as dark as an abyss, and the white seemed as bright as light shining on paper. The armor was formed around Avrin’s body and was incredibly tight, almost as if it were only a few centimeters in between him and it.
From chest to toe he was covered in plate-like armor. Though looking carefully, it seemed as if it were incomplete, as if there were not enough material. Behind Avrin were two bleached white skeletal wings that twitched faintly, but were at least two meters long. Despite lacking any flesh, one could see that these could be used to impale someone. Avrin looked at himself and at this armor that formed over his body. He wasn’t sure if he was to be happy or sad.
“If this was your intention, say so!” He called out in frustration before sighing slightly and eyeing himself a little more. “Armor, huh.... Septim wasn’t lying. This looks incredibly incomplete. Even Eitri could do a better jo-” Avrin stopped talking, as he felt the armor tighten up around him with incredible strength, as if it were offended.
It loosened after leaving his face reddened from the blood having been pushed up and he looked quite angered. “Fine… It doesn’t matter. Armor is armor. Even if you look like this now, you’re no doubt strong enough to withstand the attacks of many powerful beings. Hopefully I get a helmet if I ever find your next fragment.”
Avrin started quietly thinking. He thought about Skymetal and the process of forming it. Strangely enough, the design of this armor was interesting. It was as if it were several sheets of thin, chitin-like plate. Not to mention the disabled skeletal wings he had on his back. He knew his disappointment was uncalled for, because he even heard the voice of the Skymetal blob saying there wasn't enough and that it would improvise. He could only smile bitterly and will the armor to get off him.
When this happened, the armor liquified and shot out towards the dark core, hovering around it like Limos and Astaroth. When it hovered over, it formed a single eye that glanced around curiously before it came upon the blob of energy that was Limos. An eye appeared on the energy representing Limos and it gazed back at this white newcomer. A moment later, Limos pulsed out its energy, as if it were trying to intimidate the new item.
Avrin, who was frowning because his soul was left naked, was forming clothing over himself before he noticed a little spectacle. He saw Limos emit its aura and then he saw the white energy, representing his somewhat complete armor, form a long arm and hand before smacking the energy of Limos, as if it were slapping it. Limos screeched in anger and was about to take form and attack, but Avrin’s dark matter core pulsed. This caused both the white and black light to tremble fearfully before the two went quiet and silently orbited like the energy of Astaroth, which was glowing a healthy red, as if it were laughing at them both.
With this all done, Avrin noticed how incredible he felt right now. With another fragment of Skymetal, his power obviously was boosted quite a bit. Though like before, it was kept to as much as his body could handle. Then again, Avrin knew that maybe this wasn’t the case and maybe it was because these were fragments and it was as much as they could give him for now. That being said, he knew that if Mallaku and Tialoc were to try and grab him again, then his physical strength would be too much for them.
Avrin turned to look behind him, noticing that the wall he passed through suddenly moved closer to the dark matter core, as if it were expanding his control of the core area. Avrin had long assumed that this wall represented the boundaries of his control and, the closer it got, the easier it would be for him to control this place. He also noticed how the grasslands turned from red, to a jet black, and now to a glowing white, before cycling back to red.
Avrin didn’t linger any longer and left to tend to his inner workings. He wanted to, at the very least, make sure he had reached 100% completion with both Type 12 Particles and Type 12 C.Particles. He knew if he could, then facing Septim and the others would be significantly easier and, because he now had some sort of defence, although an incomplete fragment, it still held enough power to deal with Septim and the others.
----------
(A.N) so thinking carefully to myself in regards to how skymetal is formed, i felt that it would be to overpowering for avrin to obtain such crazy strong weapons, so what better way to fix this then to make it so that there are 4 or so fragments for each full object, this way the mc can progress but not stomp anyone in his way, you have to know that i'v planned this for awhile, because avrin was already able to use quite a bit of astaroths power, but it wouldn't make sense since it is part of 2 cosmic entities, 10% would be to strong if i didnt do this!.
that is the same case with this armor, i felt that i had an opportunity to work with this plot-wise let avrin search for the pieces and the armor as well as other skymetal equipment can grow and evolve with each fragment recovered.
i hope people wont feel disappointed, but i can guarantee the final product will look astonishing, also don't think this is avrins only full body line of defense in the future :) enjoy that little tid bit
P.S the one year deadline set by Orphelium is no error, i myself don't want avrin to train so damn long but somethings cant be avoided until now, so i decided to spice things up

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
