Well, finally, after nearly two months of working without updates, my new book is published on RoyalRoad! I have attached the introduction of the story below:

The Martyrs:

“Perhaps we are indeed the main characters of the story, but who is to say we are not the Galactic Republic in the prequel --- No matter how many victories we seize or how many foes we slay, our fate has been sealed from the very beginning.” --- KR043.

When a portal to another world was created in the deserts of Nevada, the United States, humanity was faced with a choice. Neglect it, and pray nothing happens. Or confront it, and in doing so, pay a dear cost.

Earth chose the latter, and thus, came the heroic tales of the Phasewalker Corps.

And thus, came the numberless skirmishes, battles, wars, and crusades that would ravage across Humanity's enemies.

And thus, came the warcry that would soon echo through countless worlds.

"For Earth! For Humanity! For...Victory!"

This is the story of the generation that burns.

As of the moment, I have 44 chapters ready. The plan is to publish them at a rate of 1 chapter every 2 days, with each chapter being over 2k words. This should ensure that I won't run out of chapters too soon, and I won't be pressured to rush things up just to keep up with the schedule. This time, Patreon supporters won't get any early access, but if anyone wants to welcome me back with some support, well, be my guest!

PS. Also, I have been on a bit of a Warhammer 40K binge recently, so I did find some ideas from the 40K universe when writing this novel. Nothing too similar, though. There's not gonna be a bunch of people burning heretics or commanding Exterminatus on planets.
