The Dark One’s Respite 5

4 Days Later

Theo’s Apartment

The next few days were spent moving Nichola’s stuff into Theo’s hideout as fast as possible.

The movers Theo hired were all suspicious individual with a bloody rap sheet a mile long.

After they successfully accomplished their mission, Theo overpaid them…. before killing them all.

While he could have used them as materials for his project, they did do their job properly. As thanks, he killed them as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Juno also moved in with Theo.

While she had plans on doing so in the past, she never committed to it fully because her family was against it.

Apparently, during the time when Theo was hunting the Sway twins, Juno went back home and convinced her parents to let her do as she pleased.

And thus, Theo’s small room became much smaller with the existence of 2 additional bodies.

Just to be clear though, Juno and Nichola had their own room which was located nearest to Theo’s

However, the rooms were nothing more than glorified closets where they put their non essential stuff.

They spent nearly all of their time in Theo’s room.

They ate, took a bath and slept in his room.

During the first 4 days that they have been together, it was a steaming hot orgy everytime the 3 were together.

Since the 3 of them skipped school for those 4 days, it was pretty much one pink colored day after another.

While Theo was a lustful teen like anyone his age, he was not capable of copulating almost the entire day every day. It was thanks to the Incubus serum that he was able to manage to survive this.

Annoyingly enough, his SUPER boner refused to calm itself even after nearly a week has passed since the initial injection.

Aside from him living like a harem king, Theo dabbled in a few construction projects.

First was a couple of tunnels that connected his apartment to his lair.

Normally, Theo would walk through the junkyard to get to the entrance that only a midas alchemist technomancer could open.

Unfortunately, Juno and Nichola could not do the same.

As such, the tunnels were created for this reason.

Naturally, the security was as confusing and sadistic as the original entrance.

There was a 100 number+letter combination that must be entered in 100 seconds. The password changes every 2 minutes and every third failed attempt will cause the entire tunnel to be flooded with highly corrosive acidic gas.

However, the real way to enter the door was to touch the lower left side of the screen. This portion was actually a fingerprint scanner.

After that was another door that required fingerprints and a voice confirmation.

The last was door was fingerprints, voice confirmation and DNA scan via spitting on the floor beneath the touchscreen.

Every time the 3rd door closed, that tunnel was then bathed in fire.

Why?

Aside from cleaning the spit via flamethrower, it was so cool!

He also made changes within his lair.

The most significant change was the decently sized ‘mad scientist’ lab for Nichola.

Similar to Nichola’s old room, this area had many shelves where her horrific creations were in full display.

The main selling point was a state of the art laboratory with the finest equipment to make a person beg for death than experience what the instruments could potentially do to him.

And since this was where Nichola would be spending most of her time in, there was a fridge filled to the brim with food, a bathroom that was completely see through (coz Theo was a pervy teenage brat), a TV, a computer with internet connection and others miscellaneous stuff for Nichola’s convenience.

Juno also had her own area in Theo’s lair. However, since she didn't really want anything, her area was baren compared to Nichola’s.

And now we move to the present.

At the moment, the 3 were relaxing in Theo’s room after a particularly intense orgy.

They were watching some random TV show as they rested their bodies.

Theo sat on the floor while Nichola used his lap as a pillow while Juno leaned on him.

At this time, a knock on the door disturbed their tranquility.

“I’ll get it.” said Juno as she went to answer it.

“Juno! It’s been a while!” said a cras female voice that Theo could easily recognize

“Oh! Nice of you to visit, my beloved in-laws. Come in, come in.” said Juno like she owned the place.

A few minutes later, 5 people sat awkwardly around the table

The 2 visitors were Theo’s brother and his wife, Bartholomew Lorne and Meredith Lorne.

The couple sat speechless as they observed the girl who was meekly hugging Theo’s right arm as if she was trying to hide herself.

This girl was Nichola, and based on the shivering transmitted into Theo’s arm, she was terrified.

An understandable reaction.

For most of her life, she has only met with people when she had her mask to cover her grotesque physique.

Even when they were moving her stuff into Theo’s place, Nichola insisted on covering her body like she had done during her beef jerky days.

She couldn't just shrug off something she has done for many years.

“Holy cockballs Theo! You actually did it! A harem! And look at this adorable thing! Is she a princess or something?! She is so criminally CUTE!” said Meredith using her special skill called ‘unable to read the atmosphere’

This caused Nichola to shrink even further. She snuggled closer to Theo in a futile attempt to hide behind his arm.

“Calm down Mary. You’re scaring her.” said Barth before extending his hand to Nichola. “My name is Bartholomew Lorne. I’m Theo’s older brother. You can call be Barth.”

“Nichola Rasputin” said Nichola as she shook Barth’s hand before quickly withdrawing it.

Mary quickly extended her hand towards Nichola.

“I’m Meredith Lorne! Barth’s wife! Call me Mary or Big Sis! Now come! Shake my hand you cute little thing! *huff* *huff*” said Mary with a dangerous light in her eyes.

In all the times Theo has known Nichola, this was the first time he has ever seen her truly be afraid.

“Okay. That’s enough.” said Barth as he subdued Mary.

“Anyways, what’s the reason for this visit?” asked Theo.

Barth took an uncharacteristic serious face and looked Theo in the eye.

“We got a call from the HAA saying telling us that you haven't been to school in a couple of days. We tried calling you but it seems that your phone is disconnected or something. Care to explain?” asked Barth in a serious manner.

Now that Theo thought about it, where was his ‘legal’ phone?

He normally used his ‘illegal’ phone to make calls to his ‘illegal’ friends. He hardly ever used his ‘legal’ phone at all.

Anyways, Theo has already prepared a countermeasure for such unexpected occasion such as this.

“Sorry Nichola, I’m going to have to show them.” said Theo to Nichola.

Understanding the meaning of his words. Nichola nodded in approval

Nichola gave him her smartphone.

“The main reason why I was absent was because of this picture” said Theo as he showed Barth and Mary a picture of beef jerky Nichola wearing a sleeveless shirt and a short pants.

“OH MY GOD?! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!” exclaimed Mary

“That was Nichola 5 days ago.” replied Theo, much to the couple’s shock.

“Huh? What do you mean?” asked Barth.

“Nichola is cursed by a particularly nasty affliction. I can't really go on into specifics because I really don't understand it either. The point is this. Me and Juno have teamed up to rid Nichola of her curse. This was what we have been doing for the last few days.” said Theo in full bullshit mode.

The Barth-Marcy couple looked to and fro between the picture and Nichola.

“True… the hair length and the body proportions seems similar. But couldn't you just have asked the HAA for help?” asked Barth

“What makes you think we haven't asked for help?”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“I’m sure that it isn't obvious to outsiders, but the HAA is a business at its core. They won't move without monetary incentives. And the only reason why I was able to help Nichola was because I took that international job from the Nosferatu Vampires. As you can see, the normal method is not cheap and is extremely dangerous” said Theo

Theo began recounting his adventures with the Nosferatu Clan. Naturally, he omited his meeting with the Norscan Raiders and his involvement in the Alkebulan nuclear incident.

Nevertheless, the entire story was that of an epic adventure to those who has never stepped on an actual battlefield.

“I’m not suppose to tell you any of these, but I trust you 2 with my life. So there’s no problem.” said Theo

Barth and Mary made a difficult face.

“To think you’d do so much for a single girl. You must really love her.” said Barth.

“Love? Thanks to this, I’m not entirely sure if I can even feel love.” said Theo as he pointed to his terminator eye where a piece of steel pierced into his brain. “One thing is for sure though, I believe whatever danger I have to go through to get Nichola is more than worth it.”

Nichola blushed profusely and began throwing punches into Theo’s shoulder.

Fortunately, she was so weak that it didn't even register as an attack.

“Hahahaha! Isnt she cute? She’s a fine addition to Theo’s harem. She’s practically a cuddly little bunny whenever we 3 have sex. Watching her and Theo is like watching a pair of lovestruck lovers. It’s diabetes inducing sweet!” teased Juno

“Oh! Details please!” said Mary

“SHUT UP!” Nichola grabbed a nearby plastic glass and threw it at Juno.

Unfortunately, Juno caught it without difficulty.

As expected of an experienced frontline combatant.

“Aww~ She’s shy~” said Juno

“Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!”

Nichola attacked Juno with all of her might, but she was outclassed in every single way.

“Well, there you have it. The complete story of my misadventures and my reasons for cutting classes” said Theo

“I see. Then when will you be coming back to school?” asked Barth.

“Tomorrow. But just so you know, I’m planning on quitting school before this year ends.”

This naturally shocked Barth and Mary.

“Why the hell are you going to do that?! Do you know how many people would kill to be in your shoes?!” roared Mary.

With a simple wave of his arm, Barth instantly calmed Mary down.

“You’re not the one to do stupid things. May I hear the reason?” asked Barth.

Nichola and Juno were also interested in Theo’s answer. They even stopped fighting just to hear his response.

“Like you, I am going to open a business. I have the capital and I have made friends with rich and powerful individuals. But most importantly, I have gained the knowledge required to accomplish my dream business. Naturally, I also have a back up plan in case my venture fails.” said Theo.

Barth was a master at making clothes. From wedding dresses to cosplay costumes, he could do it all.

He started a business with nothing but his skill.

Naturally, he knew how hard it was to do business.

“Can you tell me the specifics?” asked Barth

“No prob. The cheapest brand new prosthetic limb is about 5000 Rooks. And this is the low tech ones without any cybernetics involved. Naturally, the more technology implemented onto the prosthetics, the more the price will jump. However, what if I told you that I can mass produce mid tier level cybernetic prosthetic limbs at half the price of the low tech prosthetics?” said Theo

Initially Barth was surprised, but his business mind began to kick into high gear.

“Midas Alchemy? No…. that power cant mass produce. You said that it takes too much stamina… so that means, you can make those cybernetic limbs via assembly line… but what of the materials? The workers?” mumbled Barth

“I cant tell you the specifics just yet, but I’ve already laid the groundwork.”

“Oh? How did you do that?”

“Through a trusted friend, I am currently negotiating for the ownership of all of Vermillion City’s scrapyard.”

“Holy….”

Upon hearing Theo’s plans, the Barth-Mary couple shuddered in fear of how near to completion Theo’s plans were .
