How does one start an action movie styled car chase seen?

First and foremost, a cool looking fancy ass car was paramount.

And as the 3rd richest country behind the Commonwealth and the Jade Empire, Zifang had no shortage of wealthy people that would stupidly leave their expensive car parked in public.

One such car was a snow white Lamborghini Huracan.

"This is one fine steed." texted La Ren.

"I'm not really in the know about cars, but even I admit this is a looker." said Vivi.

"Aside from being my favorite color, the Lamborghini Huracan is one of the more popular cars in the street racing scene. And since Zifang's capital is a concrete jungle, streets are everywhere." said Theo as he transmuted the car's window and turned it into the key to start it up.

"So who's driving? Just so you guys know, I know how to drive but not aggressively." asked Vivi.

"Not me. I'm riding shotgun since I'm the only range specialist here." said Theo.

"I'll do it." texted La Ren.

Naturally, Theo and Vivi could not hide their skepticism.

"Do you even know how to drive?" asked Theo.

"There is no steed I cannot ride. Last time I came to this world, I tamed what you humans called a KV-2. It was an unwieldy beast, but it bent to my will regardless."

"You rode a freaking tank?!"

"Rode and fought in it. Alone."

"How the hell is that even physically possible?!"

"No more talking. We need to leave before the authorities surround us." texted La Ren as she confidently sat on the driver seat.

Theo and Vivi looked at each other before shrugging in surrender.

"Hold on. This only has 2 seats. How are we suppose to fit in here?" asked Vivi.

"Don't worry. I'll be on the baggage compartment at the front of the car. I'll transmute through the dashboard to make some room." replied Theo as he opened the front of the car and began transmuting.

"And we're kind of stealing a car here. Isnt that a crime?"

"Yes it is my harem anime protagonist friend. Don't worry though. Just like I have done multiple times in the past, I'll find the owner of this ride and pay him back in full."

Of course, Theo left out that it depended on what type of person the owner was.

If the man is a law abiding citizen, he would keep his word and pay the man back in full. Hell, he'll pay double what he owed for all the trouble he has caused.

However, if the man was as much of as scum as Theo, then a bullet to the head would be in order.

Once Theo was done transmuting a space where he and his duffel bag could fit in, he crawled into his position and was immediately slammed into the wall as La Ren slammed the accelerator all the way through.

And just like any action movie car case, the Lamborghini Huracan screeched through the tight streets of Zifang's largest Red Light District.

"La Ren! Don't you dare run over anyone!" screamed Theo as he desperately tried not to get thrown around in his small compartment.

La Ren replied with a simple thumbs up while taking the Lamborghini into a really sharp drift.

"DAMN IT! Where did you learn to drive?!" said Vivi who was desperately trying to put his seat belt on.

"The Quick and The Angry movie series. The things they make cars do are quite entertaining. I'd like to try them out myself." replied La Ren via text.

""DON'T YOU DARE!"" roared Theo and Vivi while cursing themselves for letting the beautiful drow take the wheel.

While Theo could not see anything from his baggage compartment prison, his spy drones gave him a birds a view of everything in the vicinity. And with conjunction of the Hassan I Sabbah spies all over the Zifang capital, there was nothing that escaped his notice.

"4 police cars behind us, 3 in front and 2 on each streets beside us. 2 black vans on the street parallel to us. Probably UN infiltrators. The HAA has 2 Superheroes on the roof top above us. Looks like the shapeshifting Chimera and a standard super strength hero named Barbarica."

"2 A Rankers huh. They're really pulling out all the stops." said the clearly worried Vivi.

"I beg to differ. I'd say we're lucky that these chumps are all we have to deal with. If Zifang's Samurais came to the scene, then I expect to lose a limb or two."

"Are you freaking serious?! These are 2 A Rankers!"

"Bah. I zeroed worse and La Ren is so much more powerful than everyone here. Anyways, you are a hostage so don't use any healing on me. If anyone spots that, we'll be busted. Keep it on La Ren and make it as subtle as possible. Also, guide her towards the highway. That's the area with the least amount of collateral damage."

"Roger that!"

Despite being one of the most populated city in Zifang, the Lamborghini flew through the roads at breakneck speed.

This might come as a shock to Commonwealth natives but traveling by car was the most inefficient means of travel in Zifang.

This was because nearly very intersection that isnt in the freeway has a traffic light. Zifang was a safety conscious country you see.

Imagine stopping every few seconds because the traffic light said so. Quite torturous for those who love to slam their foot on the accelerator.

As such, most people either go by train or by bicycle.

This lack of competitors in the road made those who were dead set on breaking the traffic rules quite happy.

Thanks to the Lamborghini high performance V10 engine and La Ren's shockingly good driving skills, most of the police cars were left in the dust when they were traveling in a straight line.

However, in order to get to the highway, they had take 1 left turn and 2 right turns.

This was the opportunity their enemies were waiting for.

As the Lamborghini slowed down to make the first turn, the UN black vans were able to catch up and immediately attempted ram the Lamborghini.

They missed by a mile.

Theo tore the trunk's door off its hinges, took aim with his Super Shotgun and blasted the brains of the driver through the bulletproof glass.

The Super Shotgun used Bunker Buster rounds, a Theo original that used shape charge rounds to punch through armor and explode inside the target.

No way a mere bulletproof glass can withstand a bullet made to punch through tank armor.

With the driver dead, the van lost control and smashed into a nearby building.

Seeing what happened to its ally, the second black van tried to dodge the moment Theo took aim. Sadly, this caused the van to swerve out of control and forced the driver to stop, which made it easier for Theo to separate the driver's upper body from his lower body by shooting through the door.

Thanks to this short slow down, many of the police cars were able to catch up.

They tried to pull the PIT maneuver to put the Lamborghini to a tail spin, but La Ren's skillful yet reckless driving was able to evade all of their attempts.

Just to be clear, La Ren or Theo could easily wipe out the police if they wanted to.

However, these poor souls were nothing more than convenient shields that prevented the UN, HAA or Kenpeitai from brazenly approaching Vivi.

They were not enemies, just unfortunate extras.

As such, it was up to Theo to fend them off without killing them.

During the Lamborghini's slow down, one of the police cars were able to get in front of them. As if on que, the other police cars boxed them in from all sides.

A fine display of teamwork but also a big mistake on the side of the police.

This made Theo's job a lot easier.

He placed the super shotgun into one of the mechanical arms in his backpack to auto reload it. At the same time, he used the Milkor MGL loaded with incendiary grenades to blow the tires of the police cars beside and behind the Lamborghini.

La Ren used the small opening to wiggle out of the encirclement and slammed the accelerator to leave the police in the dust.

The police car in front tried to ram them as they passed by, but Theo was able blow off its tires before they could try. This sent the car into a tailspin until the driver could force it into a stop.

With their pursuers lagging behind, La Ren drifted the Lamborghini into the first right turn.

As if waiting for this moment, the HAA superheroes dropped from above to ambush the trio.

Chimera took the form of a cool looking evil centaur and landed on the driver side. He then gently grabbed La Ren's arm as if signaling to Theo that he has a hostage.

La Ren found this quite amusing and decided to see where this would lead to.

Barbarica, who was ridding Chimera, jumped off and landed on the car's hood to face off with Theo.

"Theodore Lorne. For disrupting the peace of a foreign land and kidnapping-" said Barbarica before she dodged an incendiary grenade from Theo's trusty Milkor MGL. "At least let me finish damn it!"

"I'm sorry about that madam, but I'm on a really tight schedule here. Let's skip your futile talk-no-jutsu segment where you try to bring me back to the light side and get to the part where we fight, shall we?" replied Theo.

"Are you sure about that? We have your pretty girlfriend you know? We don't want to hurt her but we have to stop your rampage. Surrender and your damsel wont be in distress."

"Err... You just made one hell of a mistake here."

"Oh? And that is?"

"I'm not the one you should be afraid of. She's the monster here."

On que, La Ren crushed Chimera's arm with a snap of her finger. She followed with another much louder snap that broke nearly all of the shapeshifter's limbs and broke a large number of bones in his body.

She slammed the accelerator and made the car run over Chimera.

FYI: Chimera's shapeshifting abilities was a magic regeneration based ability. Simply having his bones broken and having a 2000 kg car run over him would not kill him.

If La Ren seriously tried to kill him with her sound based attacks, that would be a different story.

The Lamborghini's sudden acceleration threw Theo and Barbarica off the hood.

"KEEP GOING!" roared Theo as he shot Barbarica with an incendiary grenade while they fell.

It wont kill the superhuman, but it would definitely hurt her a lot.

At the same time, Theo shot his grappling arm at the Lamborghini and pulled himself towards it.

Suddenly, he slammed into the ground and was dragged like a dead horse. If it wasnt for his ever reliable power armor, he would have been grated to death.

And before he could comprehend what was happening, pain shot through one of his legs as it snapped from a merciless vice grip. It was so sudden that he did not have time to scream in pain.

Looking down, he saw the still burning Barbarica grabbing his leg.

Theo tried to blast her face off with the Milkor MGL, but Barbarica smashed it with a single punch.

As the pain brought him to tears, Theo did what he generally avoided and drew the Super Shotgun with his right hand.

The Super Shotgun was a monstrously powerful weapon with a recoil to match. Even with the protection of the power armor, firing it would break his organic arm.

However, he was in no position to care for his safety.

Before he could fire his beloved gun, something small hit Barbarica on her shoulder which forced her to release her grip and was left in the dust.

"Aveline Maria reporting in. Sniping the enemies." said Maria through the coms.

"Maria? I thought you were with the stealth group?" asked Theo while dragging himself back onto the car and enduring the pain of using omnigel.

"Change of plans. One of the Drows was much better than me in terms of stealth, so the operation was left to her. On the other hand, no one in the group can match me in long range shooting. So here I am."

"And where are you exactly?"

"I'm currently 3 kilometers away from your location. I'm using 3 of your spy drones as a sniping platform. I'm also borrowing the Denel NTW-20 stored in one of them. I hope you don't mind."

Theo checked all of the locations of his spy drones, and sure enough, 3 of the largest ones were huddled together approximately 500 meters from the ground.

"Sure, I don't mind. But 3 kilometers? The NTW-20 has a max effective range of 2.3 kilometers with the 14.5×114mm bullets. How the hell did you snipe a moving target on an unstable platform in an area where the wind makes it impossible aim?"

"It's the same as how I can order your drones around."

"I don't get it."

"All of your children have unrestricted rights to access your tech.... and your brain. Right now, I'm using a combination of data I receive from your cybernetic eyes, your spy drones and the SEER I have installed in my eyes."

Theo was shocked to hear this.

The SEER was an analytic engine that allowed the user to see a few seconds into the future. Theo has this installed on his organic looking left eye.

The main drawback was the massive amount of computations required. Theo once used an entire spy drone with a dedicated super computer just to perform the calculations. It melted from the extreme heat it produced.

Theo used his own brain for the calculations once, but the mind breaking pain he had to endure outweighed the benefits.

To see the future came at a heavy cost.

Naturally, Theo never used it ever again.

"And how in god's name are you doing the calculations? I felt like I was hit with a sledgehammer the last time I used it." asked Theo.

"Eh? For real?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Because I'm using your brainpower for the computations."

"Eh? Even right now?"

"Yes. I have been running the SEER non stop for the past 30 seconds."

"But I don't feel a single load in my mind."

"I guess you're becoming more powerful. How else would you have transmuted that massive golden fist out of thin air during the Eldorado Incident?"

Maria's point made Theo ponder that particular incident.

He initially thought that Juno's magic ritual was the one that allowed him to pull of that insane stunt.

Technically, this was correct.

However, that did not explain how he transmuted a large amount of gold all at once.

In normal circumstances, his brain should have exploded when he pulled that off.

There was no way in hell a normal human being could withstand so much computations without going insane.

Yet here he was, alive and well.

"What the hell is happening to me?"
