Today, I’m thrilled and excited to be able to say that the first book of H2H is complete and is now available on Amazon!
Now, I do love the name Halfway to Home, but it’s really more fitting for the series as a whole - so, that name has become the series title, and book 1 is published under the name Without a Trace (WaT. I couldn’t not.)
Some quickie details -
WaT wrapped up at 129,296 words total! So, it’s actually a sane, reasonable length, which I’m really happy about xD
The paperback is 415 pages long.
The artwork for this series has been done by Taylor Christensen (/u/twchrist) He did an absolutely phenomenal job, and I’m really thrilled for how it’s all going to come together ">
The published version is very close to the serialized version, but has a few minor plot elements tweaked. The whole thing has been gone over and edited/reworked as needed for clarity and flow, of course!

I'm definitely not done with H2H, and I will 100% be continuing to post the parts here! Moving forward I'll be working on my urban fantasy project (the sequel to Silvertongue) and probably the first book of my high fantasy project (see: Reverie). But, I want to start working on book 2 before too long, and I will continue posting those parts right here. So, stay tuned ">

After all, every city or densely populated area had been hit with natural disasters that encompassed tsunamis, Earthquakes, Firestorms, Typhoons, and hurricanes. Power, food, infrastructure. All of it was gone and what came after was worse as humans were no longer top of the food chain. Yet the imminent destruction of the 21st century re-opened a veil that had kept the world safe from hidden dangers, or maybe it was the other way around. Time will tell. In our story, the Protagonist rises from the ashes of the apocalypse. A desert child soldier nurtured by tragedy and death looking for an escape to fill the void in his heart. There was no peers I had to look into the eye and see pity. There was no more of walking to her grave and telling her what I had become after she was gone. It was simply just us in my heart. The way she look when she at her worse, the strong vigor she held in her soul. Comforting me while I was attempting to comfort her... Ha, this new world.. I wondered.. is this not a fresh start?
