To commerate the taking of 2021 around the back of the shed and shooting it in the head, I've decided to try taking writing more seriously and launch a Patreon page! You can find it at https://www.patreon.com/authoranno

There's a public post on my Patreon showing what you receive for pledging when the chapter goes live.

Disclaimer: The Patreon page charges upfront so as soon as you pledge, it takes your payment. Therefore, if it's near the end of a month, it's worth waiting until the 1st of the next month to avoid being charged twice.

What does this mean for Royal Road?

Nothing will change. I will continue posting chapters between 4500-6500 words every week on Saturday at 16:00 GMT. No content will be behind a paywall nor will I remove chapters from Royal Road in the future.

What does this mean for Patreon?

As a patron, you can access chapters weeks in advance. The current (and only tier) is £3 which gives access to two chapters (two weeks) in advance. They are in the pdf format and total between 9000-13000 words. They will also be posted every Saturday at 16:00 GMT.

My goal is to increase this to 5 chapters in advance for the same money so if you don't think it's worth it, wait a while and check back to see if there are more advance chapters.

What does this mean for everyone?

Consistent chapters every week without a month or longer breaks every now and then.

Also, there's been a bit of neatening things up with the story. Skill names now have [ ] around them, like [Leech]. I've changed this for the whole story so if you read older chapters and they lack square brackets or there are square brackets where there shouldn't be, please type a comment or send me a message to correct it.
