Chapter 32 Mother

“Don’t you dare touch me!”

“Do you know who I am?”

“You are just courting death! I might not be able to stop you, but..”

“Why me? Why must I give birth to this bastards child?”

“Aww, its a boy! A boy, let me hold my child.”

“Yan’er, come let mother tell you a story.”

“Yan’er, when you grow up you must please your wife.”

“Yan’er, one day we’ll go home.”

“You vile devil in human skin, what have you done to my child?”

“Unable… what do you mean unable to cultivate? Why!? He is just a child! I’ll kill you!!”

Countless scenes passed through her head as she remember all that happened up to her death. Tears streamed down her face, and as it touched the ground. She woke.

She was quite beautiful, long brown hair that reached her mid back, and light brown skin with hazel eyes. Males couldn’t help but fawn over her, and women couldn’t help but envy her.

Yet, she was a pure soul at heart.

The first thing she did was glance around. She was sure she died, there was no mistaking it, she did die. But she is still alive, still breathing. How did this happen?

“Awoke are we?” A hoarse voice called out.

She turned around and saw an elderly woman at the door. One could tell that she was once beautiful, but now her age has caught up to her. Which could be shown by the wrinkles on her face.

“Mother? I… how did you find me?” She asked.

“It took a while and to be honest I doubted I would ever find you. Someone put a cloaking enchantment on you, but as time past it weakened and I was able to find you. Yet, when I arrived I didn’t think that they would try to kill you. Lucky you swallowed the Queen’s soul when you were young, so instead of your soul being killed it was the Queens. A second chance, pretty amazing isn’t it?”

“Mother… I have something to tell you…” She said in a soft voice.

She was afraid at what her mother would do if she found out, but she needed to tell her anyways.

“I have another child. A young boy, I don’t know if he is still alive. Can you find him?” She asked.

Her mother's face darkened when she heard that. For heaven's sake, her daughter conceived another child and by someone outside of her marriage? If news spread then this would be horrible.

“Listen, I will help you find your child, but do you remember the arrangement we had? If you ever had a boy, he would marry one of Jun Wang's daughters.”

“Yes, I remember. But…” She was about to speak but her mother stopped her.

“You should know what kind of bloodline they carry. Inside them is the blood of the first immortal, and your father is his disciple. One of the six immortals. Now, even if I do not act against them, what about your father? He’ll burn that whole place until nothing is left but ash. And he will continue to do it until his anger dwells. Listen to me well, this child, you must never let others find out that he belongs to another.” Her mother explained to her.

The elderly woman came to her daughter and placed her hand over her daughter's heart. “A mother shares a strong bond with their child. As long as he doesn’t have a cloaking enchantment on him as well, I can find him.” As she spoke a light blue light shined over her daughter's chest.

“Burn to ash, Flame Commandment!” Yan shouted as a Golden ball of flames engulfed the whole sect.

A chill ran down his spine. Once again it felt like someone was watching him. It felt like it was the hundredth time, and he was tired of it.

His strength was more stable than before, he had to admire the power of Ignel. This wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t due to him stabilizing his strength. Now he was even greater than before.

His name shall spread even further after this, the world shall know who did this.

Fear would be struck in the hearts of many. The alliance would be after him.

He wanted them to come, to chase him. Let them put a bounty on his head, he wanted them to.

“He’s been found.” She said in a slightly cold tone.

From her mother's voice, she could instantly tell that she was not happy with the results. What was going on with her child? Was he hurt? Captured? Turned into a slave? Thinking about him made her heartbeat speed up. She couldn’t take it, she needs to know.

“Mother, speak where is he? What is he doing?”

Her mother grabbed her shoulders and looked her directly in her eyes. “Listen, this child is something else. Does he realize the harm he is doing? What we worked hard to build, he wants to tear it down. We must find him and stop him, otherwise the only thing that will be left is a thousand pieces of him spread across the nine seas.”

“You’re not making any sense!”

“He is trying to destroy the alliance child! Do you realize what your father did to build the alliance? Do you realize why it was set up in the first place? There are things in this world that matters more than you and I. If we don’t stop him, grandson or not, your father will most definitely kill him. And I cannot let that happen.” She replied in a hurried voice.

“Destroying the alliance? Why… no, Yan’er would never do such a thing. He doesn’t even have that much potential to cultivate. Even if he did, how could he even compare to a Sage? With a flick of their finger, they could easily turn Yan’er to dust. So tell me, how could he destroy the alliance who has as many Sage realm cultivators as the sky has clouds?” She asked.

Her mother could only shake her head.

“That is what we need to find out.”
