A century passed, barely enough time to get a good sleep.
I wasn’t sleeping to avoid Dryad, no, I was sleeping to regain the energy lost from when she made her physical form.
After she formed her body, Dryad looks like a small cute adorable young girl. She’s probably something around a meter tall based on my semi-precise measurements. If I were to go with terminology from my old world…
A loli.
Definitely a loli.
More importantly I have discovered the reason she always wanted a physical body!
Aura.
It is sad, but true, Dryad is actually not a magic user like me.
I feel at a bit of a loss, kind of like a husband learning his wife likes Thai cooking, instead of their own Vietnamese cooking. Oh well, at least she was having fun practicing combat with the martial minded monsters around the castle.
It was almost like watching a mini-female Azvril run around, minus the crystal armor of course.
I would never let my second half use shoddy crystal stuff like that!
After learning how to ‘sculpt’ my body with Crunchy Munchy I managed to craft a decent looking wooden armor for Dryad. In the tradition of all superhero armors, I made sure it was full body, skintight, nigh indestructible, and filled with extras.
It has a few interesting effects too, only three really stand out though. First, the Chaos armor will absorb the blood, bones, and flesh of fallen enemies that she doesn’t consume completely. The consumed substances are used to allow the armor to continuously empower the user’s Aura growth.
The second notable effect is of course my second most favorite out of the three, eyebeams. Without eyebeam lasers, a person can’t really say they have superhero armor. Anyone who would argue otherwise is clearly delusional, and should be helped to the nearest psych ward.

My favorite of the three effects though, is what I like to call the Root Effect. When standing in place, Dryad’s strength factor multiplies at an exponential rate. I based the power curve off of one of the superhero’s from Earth’s past the big green guy that always had anger issues. With that guy as the baseline, for every second she stands in place, the effect multiplies using the Fibonacci sequence.
In theory I suppose she could stand still long enough and shatter a world with a single punch. The recoil would probably destroy her physical form, and gravely injure her spirit though, so I have strictly forbidden her from testing it.
In the past century, quite a few preparations were made to escape this place. They are all coming to a head in a few days now. I’ve talked extensively with Dryad about the possibility of betrayal from our comrades. Vex and Dryad share similar methods of eating, having fun, and killing things so it isn’t likely she’ll betray us.
The other six of the Seven though, are completely unknown factors.
Frankly, if it wasn’t for the fact that I don’t think anyone deserves to be imprisoned in a place for eternity…
Well, I might be projecting a bit too much of my past from the Dungeon into this…
Be that as it may, I’ve made countermeasures in case the others cause issues.
Since it is only a few days until the red sun changes color, I guess there isn’t any reason not to try a few experiments.
Lately, I have noticed the sources of Order that I was feasting on are slowly going dry.
It appears after all this time, the Divinities that were favoring my slaves have realized something is amiss.
I’m not really sure what to do with them now…

I guess leaving them behind is fine, it’s not like I am going to put up the effort to remove their Runes though.
I am extremely hopeful our escape from this Prison Plane will go off without a hitch.
Lately I’ve noticed with my increased size, I don’t sleep as much.
Which is really annoying.
Sleep is a great way to ignore problems that crop up.
For example, when Dryad shattered a fourth of the castle when testing her armor out.
I was able to bail on that one by pretending to be asleep.
I think Vex was suspicious, but since she had no way to prove I was awake I got away with it.
Now though, it’s hard to even fake sleep. I wonder if the increase in size is increasing the amount of time I am awake.
Wasn’t there something like that for children as they grew up?
Hmmm….
