《The Only Real Cultivator》Chapter 77

The hole they carved into the library was only a nibble. It looked like an irreparable scar, but it was nothing compared to the seventy story cube.
I sighed. Crisis averted. The library was safe.
I got up, ready to leave. The tower master hit the ground in front of Esha and entered a full bow, lowering her head as far as it would go. “Thank you, Miss Chakrabarti.” Esha gave her a light nod.
Jing ran up and bound the elemental with vines. She tossed the body bag to Esha.
I brushed myself off, eyeing Esha warily. “Are we done?” I asked.
A Dao Journey Stage aura engulfed us. I looked up and a flaming meteor descended. A man smashed into the earth, creating a crater and blowing away the surrounding houses.
“I guess not,” I muttered.
Four other Dao Journey auras appeared behind him. They landed one by one, flattening the landscape. The entire audience from the coliseum dotted the sky behind them. This army represented more than a fifth of the military power of the city. All of them came to see what happened.
Jing cleared her throat, although she didn’t need to. “We’re from The Family, you may have heard of us from our efforts helping the Crimson Fire Sect.”
“I’ve heard of you,” said one of the Dao Journey Cultivators, “The school thanks Esha and The Family for defending our library.”
“I’ve joined The Family,” Esha corrected them.
“Oh-uh, yes. The school thanks The Family, then,” he said.
Jing broke the following awkward silence by taking off her mask. “We favor a few students in your school, so we stepped in to protect your library. But that’s the past.”
Past? That was half a minute ago!
Jing took out a gem covered box shaped like a small treasure chest. “We were going to give this to you later, but now would be a better time,” I used identify on the chest, thinking I wouldn’t find anything. Breaking my expectations, the contents of the box blasted me with information.

I put in no effort making the weed I gave Hui Ming. I could make a far better product by spending just a few more minutes designing it. Still, they were some of the best product in the city. But Jing had spent hours designing a product far more potent than mine. Her weed covered four fifths of the box.
But that wasn’t the problem. Shrooms filled the rest of the box. I couldn’t imagine why Jing would spend so much time designing mushrooms. The weed took a few hours to design. These mushrooms must’ve taken at least fifty hours. Jing didn’t need sleep, but it was still overkill. The shrooms were potent enough to be poison for normal people. They even held their own Qi. What the hell was she doing with her free time?
He accepted the box. Jing put her hand behind the quilt she was wearing. Hidden from their eyes, she turned some seeds into smaller boxes and more augmented weed. In a fantastic swish, she took out a total of twenty of the wooden boxes and handed them out to the other famous figures in the crowd.
Jing bowed one last time, “I hope you enjoy our small present and hope to see you all at a later date.” That’s what she said, but they would know what she was actually saying after they opened the boxes : “buy our drugs!”
