Chapter 1 : Ship
(I’ll be using first person speech starting from this chapter)
I watched as my father and mother doted on us both and finally took us to a ship. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention but it seems like I have a brother in this world. His name is Luffy and he is my twin older brother.
I had an older brother in my past life but we did not really get along that much. I mean my biological one of course as I was the eldest in our adoptive family composed of Toki, Ken and I.
It seems this world is not as developed as my previous one. At least that’s the impression I got from watching the buildings’ designs and my father’s ship. My father seems like a very secretive man, he leads some people covered in capes and hoods and it is obvious that they are trying to hide their face or something. They must be wanted criminals…
Anyways back to the main topic. Our father and mother apparently can’t take us with them. It must be related to their activities. Taking babies with them could put our lives in danger. I overheard them talking about our grandfather someone named Garp. According to what my mother said he is some sort of extremely powerful and influential person in the forces chasing my parents.
They are planning for us to be entrusted to him before their enemies identify us as their children. This way Luffy and I will have normal childhoods and be able to tread upon whatever path we want in the future, besides being labeled as criminals which would limit our options.
From this, I was able to figure out that the mechanics of the situation were not simple. If our parents were really terrible persons, they would not hesitate to make us follow in their dangerous footsteps.

As we were on the boat traveling through the rough sea, I called upon the system and to my surprise, it answered the call. It looked like I had some sort of “Status Screen” as the system explained to me.
My stats were very low and they would not go up unless I began to create and develop skills; I was not sure how this would work but just by looking at objects inside the ship I gained my first skill which was called “Observe”.
My “Status Screen” was like this the first day after my birth;
General Information Attributes Job Information Name Monkey D Raoh Name Value Name Value Name Level Advancement Race Human STR 0,4 SENS 4 Sex Male END 0,5 INT 2 Age 0 AGI 0,2 WIS 1 Organisation N/A REC 0,7 LUCK 5 HP 20/20 (1%/hour) DEF 0,5 CHAR 1 Haki 0/0 (1%/hour) DEX 0,8 FUN 4 Skill List Name Level Advancement Observe 1 45%
I was really interested in the place they were going to take us. I did not really understand anything related to stats and stuff. I observed Luffy and discovered that besides the special skill I had our own abilities were not that much different.
“Hmm..I’ll go to sleep, tomorrow will be a long day, I wonder what kind of place is that Dawn Island?”

But in recent years, the Empire of Vector has been growing more bold, submitting a claim for the long-contested Disputed Lands. When a young and inexperienced noblewoman ventures into the anarchic territories the residents call the Free Lands in an effort to discover what Vector is plotting, the last thing she expected to find was a City of Wonders. Staring down the threat of the Vectoran claimant force, the hidden machinations of the High Magus Council, and desperately seeking the allies and resources they need to maintain their way of life, the residents of Ladysmith must use everything they have at their disposal to survive and claim their own place in a world they were not born to.
