Looking at Daniel from the thick glass window that separate Daniel room and his room, Dmitry start to talk.

"Hmm...Alex, is he the one that will become our 'weapon' ?"

With the face full of confidence, Alex answer Dmitry question while smiling.

"Yeah, I believe he has the potential. Back then when we were teenager I never heard he lose a single fight."

Dmitry wrinkling his forehead when hearing Alex answers. To him, that kind of achievement had been just a normal record for a delinquent.He speaks his mind as if he already rejected Alex recommendation.

"Isn't that just a normal delinquent record?"

Expecting to hear those word, Alex continue to speak without backing down.Because he know Dmitry will understand.

"Yeah, I thought so too until he trash all the challenger including challenger known for having martial art background and he even became famous for eliminating the biker gang."

Hearing Alex answer, Dmitry face change in to disbelieve.The story almost felt comical

"What? That absurd, I thought you said he was a good student"

"Yes, but stronger challenger keep coming after he beat famous challenger."

"Why were they after him in the first place?"

All Daniel friends know why people looking for him. The reason was so absurd until Alex smile remembering the old memories.

"In various games his character always the most notorious one, back then his haters number were no joke. Some of them even looking for him in real life."

Back then, since Daniel play various game, all kind of people came looking for him from various place. And the very reason on how people in the game can find him was simply because childish Daniel always put his personal information on his profile.

Then Alex start to sigh when he remember about Daniel recent notorious deeds in Emperor Saga. He thought 'this friend of mine will never change'.

"So, it all starts because of games?"

"Yes, and stronger challengers keep showing up when they heard he never lose a single fight"

Unconvinced, Dmitry looks on his employees at the control panel and issue his order.

" Spawn 5 intermediate level avatars to fight him."

Flustered, the employee asked for the confirmation

"Wasn't that too dangerous sir?"

"If he isn't worthy enough he just a waste of time."

"(Why they still didn't open the door? It's already been awhile.)"

Daniel expect for the room door to open, but 5 avatar holding a sword appear instead. Daniel hold his sword in reflex preparing for another confrontation.

Then, Daniel heard Alex voice. It seems Alex speaking from another room with the microphone.

"I'm sorry Daniel, my boss want to see you fight a bit more.Ready yourself, the fight will begin in five second."

"(Dammit Alex)"

Daniel held his sword high preparing for the battle.Watching their stance Daniel notice the 5 avatar that surround him currently aren't as easy as the previous avatar. After 5 second, the avatar start to attack.

Daniel defended the attack and tried to counter, but the counter was defended by the other avatar and the other two avatar tried to attack him instead. Realizing himself surrounded by the avatar, Daniel tumbles away trying to get some distance.

"(Their skill,speed and strength on a difference level. They also attack in an organize pattern, how troublesome)"

Without giving Daniel any room to think, the five avatar continue to attack Daniel in organized fashion. Daniel defend all the attack with all of his might especially since he knows the avatar can even kill for real.

Watching from the other side of the room, Dmitry face start to get serious.

"(That fighting style.....How?)"

As Daniel struggle with the avatar, he start to use high level sword skill out desperation. Then he end up beheading 3 of the avatar with a swift strike. When the other 2 avatar tried to approach in retaliation, Daniel suddenly unleash a single slash.

"HYAARGHH!!!!"

The slash was so strong that it split both of the avatar body into two while leaving a big scratch on the glass door . Daniel sword broke and his hand trembling because he never used the high level technique. The last adrenaline attack shocked Daniel himself.

On the other side of the glass window, everyone wear a surprised expression, everyone other than Dmitry. He didn't even blink his eyes when Daniel unleashed the slash.He smirk instead as if he realized something when Daniel shows his fighting style.

"(Interesting.....)"

In his excitement, Dmitry grab the mic and start to speak for Daniel to hear on the other room.

"Daniel right? You're hired"

Once he has his say, Dmitry walks away from the room without waiting for the reply. Everyone thought it was because Dmitry were busy man but the truth was Dmitry felt it still too early to meet Daniel.

".........Hey, wait I never agreed on working here"

"..........Daniel that was Dmitry, he already left."

"Yeah, whatever I just want to say I never agreed on working here. Especially when this thing almost kill me."

" But you already sign the 5 years contract.If you breach the contract you need to pay the penalty."

"Wait, when did I......Oh my god you trick me!"

"Yes, what you sign the last time was the contract for the company not to take the responsibility on any life threatening experiment you participated in AND your five year employment contract."

"(He got me)"

Today was a bad day for Chrono. When he thought getting trick by his old friend was bad enough, he get dumbfounded when he find out that the last quest he completed was nothing special.

When he searched about the quest 'Sending a Letter to a Friend' on the Merchant's Guild forum,he expected to find a few thread asking on how to completed the quest in return of some reward.

But instead, he found no less than a thousand thread. The quest already completed by various user and it seems any merchant can do the quest once.

And to make it worse, instead of directing the users on the quest to Daisy, Julard asked the letter to be delivered on other easy town such as the newbie town of Dali or Flower town of Roseberg.

It seems the town Julard asked to delivered the letter was based on level but no one get asked to go to a dangerous town such as Daisy.

The other users also got the chain quest where they need to find the ghost friend. But nothing difficult such as finding it in 'Deadwood', they just need to find the NPC corpse on the local graveyard or any safe merchant highway.

Getting 'merchant greed' skill was also nothing special since they just need to negotiate with the ghost to leave the item with them and just rest in peace.

"(So I guess my infamy just make the easy quest 10 times harder.)"

But as Chrono read the thread further, then he discovered about the 'incomplete mask' and 'mask making noted' thread. It seems both of the items was essential to make an item exclusive to merchant.

And because of the item, the quest was quite popular among the veteran merchant since the item can make the merchant survival ability up a notch.

An artifact item that was exclusive for a merchant. The item can't be sold and can only be created once by a merchant.

There were five different kinds of mask can be created with 'incomplete mask' but the users can only choose to create one of the kind.

The available mask was

Disguising Mask

Like its name, the mask can be used to disguise as another person.Veteran merchant always using the mask to hide themselves from bandit by disguising themselves.

Wind Mask

By wearing the mask, the merchant gained the ability to move as fast as the wind for 5 minutes.It also lifts -50% speed penalty from 'merchant's secret' skill for 5 minutes. This kind of mask was quite popular for merchants that just want to run away from bandits.

Titan Mask

The mask will grant the wearer the power of the titan. 90% of the users's stat will go to strength for 5 minutes. The mask was for a merchant that want to join the fight when thing get hectic, but since fighting doesn't suit most merchants, titan mask was the most unpopular pick.

Immortal Mask

Like its name, the mask grant immortality to the wearer for 5 minutes any attack would not hurt the wearer. But the wearer stat will decrease by 80% instead.

Most of the veteran merchant picks this mask since the 5 minute immortality was enough time to wait for backup or run away to the nearest city gate

Invisible Mask

Granting invisibility to its wearer. When it first came out, the mask was quite a popular pick, but after other artifact item that can also grant invisibility came out, the mask gets less popular.

Reading all the available mask can be created by the item he had just obtained, Chrono get excited. Unexpectedly one of the mask was a great addition for Chrono to carry his plan.

Chrono a bit hesitant before, but after today's occasion, he finally has his resolve. Now he would not hold back to destroy his old friend north branch clan.

"(Let's see what happen when you mess with me Alex)"

Without wasting anytime, Chrono take out all the items needed to make one of the masks.All the essential items required to make the mask he already gained from the quest reward.

"(Hmm...let's check the item first)"

'Incomplete Mask'

50 roll Dragon Lord Skin

'Orb of Destruction'

'Orb of Peace'

Yggdrasil wood

Then Chrono take out 'Rubert's Mask Making Noted' . To create the mask, one need Master level accessory crafting skill.

But with 'Rubert Mask Making Noted', Chrono can make the high level artifact mask with a 100% chance of success.In return, 'Rubert's Mask Making Noted' can only be used once and it will disappear after Chrono created one mask.

He opens the noted and study it one by one.Since 'Rubert's Mask Making Noted' will disappear once he finishes crafting the mask,Chrono take a note the crafting method to create the other mask.

After he finishes, he used all of the items and make the mask like in the instruction. Even though the noted will ensure 100% chance of success, Chrono is still making the mask with great focus since other quality of the mask fully depends on him.

"(Finally its finish)"

Chrono evil smirk appears once the mask finish as he already imagines his future plan will be a big success.

Hi, I'm the one sending the video about the unexpected event in the Grand Fort. The video was based on my cube recorded data. Like in the video, we had no idea what is going on and we all knew we were screwed.

Most likely next morning we will be kicked out of the clan and get hunted by all kinds of people.And some people may already add us on their kill on sight (k.o.s) list. So we have decided to ask for help here since maybe an intelligent person (and hopefully a genius) will help us to find out about what's actually going on by seeing the video.

Okay, I know I said I will explain everything in this chapter. But after I read again what I write, the chapter was full of talking and explanation until I'm not sure if the reader can understand what I write. So I change my mind and delete all I write. Then I rewrite it again and decide to explain it with POV writing style later.

Side Note: For clarification, Chrono can make all of the mask as long he have the ingredient and master level accessory crafting skill. But right now, he can only make one of the mask since the ingredient only enough to make one mask and his accessory crafting are not on master level yet.

Rubert's mask making noted enable Chrono to make the high level artifact but he can only used the noted once since it will disappear after Chrono finishes crafting the mask.
