《Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]》Book 3 Chapter 110: Personal Request and Immortal Slaying

Lipsilk looked down at the four council elders who were dead in front of him with a saddened look on his face. "To think that we still had so many traitors..."
Now that he was fully healed, Lipsilk was able to employ an inherent Fairy skill of his, Intention Detection. Of course, he hadn't had a reason to use this skill, that was, at least until these four elders suddenly claimed that Lone was badly needed outside of the tree to take care of an approaching monster army.
The army was quite real, but it was a normal occurrence. The world tree's energy was appealing to more than just the sapient species of Altros.
Lipsilk had found their reasoning to use Lone questionable, so he used Intention Detection on them and saw that they only wanted to get Lone away from the world tree during Ythmagobla's attack.
Maybe Lipsilk wouldn't have cared if it was any other person they had requested, but Lipsilk was privy to the plan that Lone was going to be facing off against the weakened Ythmagobla. The moment he began asking questions, the four elders killed themselves with poison capsules tucked away in their molars.
Lipsilk clenched his fist. "They're even Vampire Thralls! Bastards! To forsake their race for such false power... Fools."
Lipsilk made the arrangements to have the four elders' bodies disposed of swiftly. He also made a mental note to bring Elder Talion with him for a full sweep of all of the tree's residents after today's war. Whether it ended in their success or their defeat, Lipsilk was determined to root out this cancer that had started to spread amongst his and Ele'hunda's people.
Eolande walked into Lone's workshop and laid down several dozen mana orbs next to him.
"Ah, thanks. I needed these. Now I can finally make myself a decent weapon. I might have cried if my swordspear just up and shattered while I was fighting Ythmagobla," Lone joked as he adjusted his dwarven-styled glasses.
Eolande smiled weakly. "It's no problem. The tree's spirit did say that we have until this afternoon before the generals get here, right? I was a little bit worried I wouldn't have filled enough orbs in time."
Lone waved his hand dismissively. "Yeah, not 'till the afternoon. You had plenty of time."
Eolande stood there awkwardly for a few minutes as she watched Lone arrange the mana orbs and prepare to use his Creation Magic. Noticing that his fellow Wanderer hadn't left yet like she usually did when delivering him mana orbs, Lone turned around and looked at her. "Something the matter?"
Eolande looked a little bit flustered at having been spoken to so suddenly. Apparently, she was trying to find the right words before Lone interrupted her train of thought. "Y-Yes, actually. I wanted to talk to you about something after today's fight is finished... if that's okay with you."
Lone raised a curious eyebrow. "If it's about that bronze Dragon backing the Mad King, I already promised I'd kill it for you, so you don't need to worry about that."
Eolande shook her head. "It's not as serious as that... but it does matter to me."
"And it can't be said right now?" Lone asked.
"No." Eolande looked sorry. "I don't want to distract you. And... I don't want to get disappointed before an important battle."
"Hmm..." Lone studied Eolande's face very thoroughly. Whatever she wanted to speak about, it did seem to be very important to her. "Okay. Though just knowing that you have something so urgent to talk about it pretty distracting in and of itself."

Eolande smiled wryly. "Sorry. I didn't think about that."
Lone laughed lightly. "It's fine. Make sure you're ready and all prepped for this afternoon. You're going to be a really critical factor in holding off and killing the generals."
Lone had ultimately decided that it would be for the best if his companions and fellow Wanderers assisted Lipsilk and Ele'hunda with fighting the generals.
He was one-hundred percent certain that they were aware of his Lord of Possibility skill, so if they had any brains at all, they would avoid attacking him like the plague, even if they weren't aware of the full scope of that skill.
Lone was also against using his Mental Destruction on them since they were more than three ranks in power above him, which would simply turn this incredible skill into nothing more than a mental attack that could harm them greatly, or not at all depending on their soul's strength.
Lone was planning to rapid-fire that unique skill on Ythmagobla himself. He needed every advantage he could get against an Ancient-level being, even if he was in a vulnerable state.
"Mmm, I know. I may be weak to you, but my illusions are really powerful against normal people," Eolande proudly said.
"I don't know if you can call XXX-ranked generals serving under an Ancient Darkness Dragon normal, but I trust you," Lone joked lightheartedly.
Eolande frowned before she pouted. "Just watch. I'll beat one of the generals by myself!"
With that said, Eolande made for the door and was going to leave. Lone returned his attention to the mana orbs, however, just before Eolande left, he spoke once more. "Don't overdo it. I value you far more than I do your worthless pride."
Eolande paused for a moment as a tiny grin swept across her face. "Stupid Fox."
As soon as the door to Lone's workshop closed, he couldn't help but wonder what Eolande's request would be. Of course, he had ideas. The man was brash, arrogant, downright rude sometimes, but he wasn't a fool. Ever since Milindo, Lone had gained a knack for reading people. While not an expert in the subject, Eolande hardly tried to make it difficult.
Lone shook his head and he focused his mind before envisioning his new weapon. Now wasn't the time to be thinking of his friend. Currently, he had just over four-hundred and fifty mana orbs. Great Elder Lipsilk had been kind enough to fill up almost three hundred of them yesterday and this morning. The Wanderers had provided the rest.
Essentially, Lone had ninety-million mana to play around with. He had an idea of what he wanted his weapon to be. Of course, it would be a swordspear. He had already dedicated himself to the swordspear a lot thus far, so it would be pointless to change to another weapon type even if he could master any other weapon rapidly. There was also the fact that he was most suited to a swordspear, or so his Growth Accelerator told him repeated for the last three years.
Taking the Divine Soul Prison out from his Dimensional Storage, Lone placed it in front of himself and gathered his thoughts. The soul of Commander Ro who resided in the prison was bouncing around frantically, but Lone ignored it.
Lone imagined a sleek blade made of pure Primal Energy. Primal Energy was the life source of Primal Essences, and through his discussions with Darkness, Lone had discovered that he wouldn't be able to enhance any weapon with Darkness' skill, Darkness Enhancement, without them crumbling to pieces shortly afterwards.

Primal Energy was just too volatile and powerful for normal weapons to endure it. Lone's workaround for this was to simply create a weapon made of Primal Energy. This would sound insane to anyone well-versed on the topic of Primal Essences or master-level crafting, and it was most definitely only possible for Lone due to his absurd Creation Magic.
Slowly but surely, a blade of pure golden energy appeared next to the Divine Soul Prison. Immediately, one-hundred and fifty of the mana orbs were destroyed.
While this did signify that the blade alone had cost thirty-million mana points, Lone was happy. This gave him hope that he wasn't asking for too much.
Without wasting any more time, Lone concentrated once again and envisioned a spearhead that was as thick and as long as a shortsword. This, too, would be made of Primal Energy, however, Lone added a condition that it would be able to slay immortal beings.
As soon as a person became a Divine-level being, they gained their own unique divinity as well as a passive immortality. Of course, they weren't infallible, but it was a chore to permanently kill a Divine-level being, not to mention an Ancient-level one.
Two-hundred more of the blue spheres surrounding Lone shivered and then cracked apart. Now he only had one-hundred left as well as his own personal mana, which didn't count for much.
'Here's hoping this works...' Lone prayed as he imagined the two blades being attached to the Divine Soul Prison.
He was intending for the Divine Soul Prison to act as a generator of sorts. Unless they were destroyed - which was impossibly hard to do - souls would constantly produce power. People called this soul energy. It was actually fairly common for a soul oracle to take advantage of the ambient soul energy in the air to power their unique skills, but Lone didn't know how to do this yet.
Besides, he had a perfectly good Divine Soul Prison to generate the soul energy that he was planning to use to fuel his attacks.
The rest of the remaining mana orbs exploded and all of Lone's mana points were drained. A splitting headache cascaded Lone's senses. He flopped to his side and started breathing heavily. It was then that several system notifications flashed across his eyes.
Item does not exist in Altros, and there is nothing like it, however, it is possible for it to exist on Altros without the host's Creation Magic. 30,000,000 MP has been consumed to compensate for the difference.
The host has a little bit of understanding of the item but does not know anything regarding its construction nor its magical requirements. 50,000,000 base MP cost. 50,000,000 additional MP has been consumed to compensate for the lack of knowledge.
The host possesses insufficient MP. The stored MP from 450 of the host's [Mana Orbs] has been consumed and the host's MP will be sealed for [4 hours] to create the item: Primal Swordspear of Immortal Slaying.
Congratulations! The host's passive skill [Mental Pain Resistance] has levelled up! It is now Master Level 3.
"Four hours, huh?" Lone muttered as he slowly got up and found a chair to sit on. "So one hour for every ten-million mana points I couldn't pay? This is a really dangerous skill... I wonder if there's a limit for overdrawing the mana? I don't think I want to find out if there is..."
It had been quite a while since the last time that he had accidentally overdrawn his mana via usage of his Creation Magic.
Lone cast his gaze onto the Divine Soul Prison that was casually floating above the ground. It couldn't do that before, so that was clearly an additional effect from the new creation. There was a visible metal ring that was slowly gravitating around the prison, much like the rings of Saturn. The only other thing of note was that there seemed to be a hilt of some sort attached to this metal ring.
Lone scratched his chin for a moment. He could easily ignore the throbbing pain of his brain thanks to his high mastery in Mental Pain Resistance, so he decided to use Clicker's power on the orb to see exactly what it could do now.
Primal Swordspear of Immortal Slaying [Unnamed] Description
Created by Lone Immortus with an unidentifiable magic. It should have been impossible to create such an item normally, but Lone Immortus' unique magic made the undoable, doable.
This weapon can only be activated by Lone Immortus. When not activated, it acts solely as a Divine Soul Prison.
Both the Divine Soul Prison and the Primal Swordspear of Immortal Slaying have the potential to grow separate egos.
Only a single Primal Swordspear of Immortal Slaying may exist at one time.
Rank [Unidentifiable] Stats Durability: ∞ Weight: Very Low Attack: Max Piercing: Excellent Slashing: Excellent Stabbing: Excellent Abilities Traps any souls placed within it. Limit of 15 souls. [Up by 10!] Can trap any soul up to the Divine-rank. [New!] Can trap Ancient-rank souls so long as they are incredibly weakened. This will use up 5 soul slots in the Divine Soul Prison. Is indestructible. May only be used by the host, Lone Immortus. [New!] All other beings who attempt to wield the Divine Soul Prison or Primal Swordspear of Immortal Slaying will be met with failure. Constant attempts to forcefully use either of them will result in the host's soul being absorbed into the Divine Soul Prison. [New!] Can kill immortal beings. [New!] Can wield and harness Primal essence effortlessly. [New!] Passively grants the host the skill [Swordspear Mastery] at expert level 5.
"Only one can exist? Interesting... Well, apart from that useless skill mastery, it turned out perfectly." Lone got up and grabbed the orb by the metal ring's hilt.
After willing it, the Primal Energy blade and spearhead appeared. They looked mystical and almost astral. Willing it once more, the weapons disappeared, leaving only the Divine Soul Prison and its floating ring.
Lone nodded in satisfaction. He tried to store the weapon in his Dimensional Storage only to find that he couldn't. "Weird... Why won't it go in?"
After experimenting with the device for a few minutes, and after he had restored a fraction of his mana via meditating, circumventing some of the side effects of his temporary-mana sealing, Lone came to the conclusion that it possessed the very beginnings of an ego. It was actively avoiding entering his Dimensional Storage. "Interesting..."
Lone tried to cast an illusion on it to hide it, however, even that failed. It was only when he made the illusion do nothing except alter how powerful and rare the prison seemed, that it finally accepted its master's meddling and began to happily float around Lone's body like some sort of orbiting planet.
Lone just sighed and chose to prepare for today's coming battle while putting the matter of the Divine Soul Prison's ego in the back of his mind.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

After millions of years, he finally reached the summit. Becoming a Sovereign Paragon. Longing for the world he left countless years ago, he finally returns to his own world. Author's Note: This story is different from other wuxia novels. If those novels focus on characters that struggle from the bottom and reach the top, this story is one where someone already reached the top. I figured it would be interesting to start a novel from this concept so I started it. Well, however this plays through, just like how I finished my previous novel, Doll's Smile, I'll finish this novel too. Of course, I'm writing this novel just for fun. I like to write lighthearted novels like this. Novels that I would read while listening to music and eating snacks on a pleasant and relaxing afternoon. Do forgive me if I'm slow in writing.
