JohnWillStab, Alex and Jordan sat in the doctor-kid's hut, he still couldn't talk but seem in a better mood, when they came in he was doing pushups, guess he doesn't want to another patient to tie him up.
"So do you think you could wake him up for us? We're in a bit of a rush" said JohnWillStab.
The doctor nodded.
He walked up to the man and slapped him so hard he rolled over to his side before sitting up and screaming.
"AH! NOT THE BEES!"
"Truly the delicate touch of a doctor." thought JohnWillStab.
"Relax, we're not bees," JohnWillStab assured him.
"A-Are you sure?" he asked hesitantly.
"Yeah. I'm pretty sure." JohnWillStab answered.
The fake-Alex breathed a sigh of relief.
"But if you don't explain to us what you and your buddies were doing here we can send you in for a round-two of the b*e movie." Alex threatened.
"ANYTHING BUT THAT!" he shrieked tightly clenching the mat he lay on.
"Then you better start explaining what you and your two partners were doing," JohnWillStab warned.
"Our village! It was under attack by monsters, they... they swarmed our town... we've only been in this world for two days... and suddenly we got attacked..."
"Adam and Xuma_37 agreed to hunt down some players for XP so they could kill the queen of the swarm..." the illusionist shook.
"Slow down! A swarm of what?" John asked.
"Giants! Hill giants!" he cried out.
"He called the boss of the hill giants the 'queen of the swarm?'... Thal really screwed him up." thought JohnWillStab.
"They started expanding down from Highpar! That's their hive!" replied the traumatized illusionist.
"Hive?" thought JohnWillStab.
"Highpar... that's a level thirty zone..." JohnWillStab said scratching his head.
"Yeah, that's why we needed the XP!" exclaimed the illusionist.
"You can justify it all you want, you're still killing players that could die for real," JohnWillStab replied.
The illusionist averted his eyes.
"If you're planning to just guilt me about it then just kill me already!" he called out.
JohnWillStab let out a loud sigh.
"If we do that you won't be able to lead us to your town," John explained.
"YOU'RE PLANNING TO KILL US ALL!?"
"No, I'm planning to kill the giants so I can quest in the plains without having your kind trying to kill me," JohnWillStab replied.

"Alex, what level are you?" John asked.
"Fourteen," Alex replied.
"I'm eleven... Jordan?"
"I'm also eleven," Jordan replied.
Right, we should be able to take down a level thirty giant if we take them on one at a time.
"Wait, you're going to die for sure at that level!" exclaimed the illusionist.
"Look who's suddenly concerned with our safety," said Jordan.
"Look! It wasn't my idea!" exclaimed the illusionist.
"Whatever, let's get going." JohnWillStab sighed.
JohnWillStab looked at his stats... a blood-red two appeared below his level, it was his kill count. (it increases when he kills isekai victims only)
"Thanks for your help, doc." Alex said leaving three gold coins on the table before he walked outside, the doctor-kid returned to doing pushups.
"Well, illusionist, lead the way," commanded JohnWillStab.
"Alright... my name's Eric by the way..."
The group walked in silence, Eric in the lead, followed by JohnWillStab, Alex and Jordan.
"We've been going up to Highpar to hunt the hill giants since they're passive mobs... were... they were passive... for some reason, they just decided to slaughter us all," Eric explained.
"For some reason? You're clearly the aggressors!" JohnWillStab exclaimed.
"What do you mean? They're just monsters!" Eric defended himself.
"Yeah, but they were peaceful... you attacked them, now they're pissed," JohnWillStab explained.
"What right do stupid rocks have to kill us, people?!" he demanded.
"Relax! It's that kind of thinking that got your town into the mess its in!"
The group crossed the bridge over the river separating Grimwood from the Rolling Plains.

The dark, gloomy grass and trees were replaced by large open fields of light green grass and flowers, the occasional cluster of bushes creating shelter for the wildlife of the zone.
The land itself was formed from what looked like giant dunes and valleys, the occasional pond or lake being taken over by mossbacks.
"This place looks nice," said JohnWillStab feeling the warm sunlight on his skin for once.
"Yeah, it's a nice break from all the undeath!" laughed Alex.
Jordan lit a cigarette and didn't say anything, despite this, he seemed happy with the change of scenery as well.
The group walked for what felt like two hours before they came across the small village, composed of less than a dozen homes, an inn, a blacksmith and a market area.

A makeshift wall was created around the town, it was composed of rocks, earth and wood. A moat was starting to be dug around the town.
"So this is your town..." commented JohnWillStab.
"Yeah... this is Levelgreen... because of the flat land and green grass," explained Eric.
"I could have guessed that much..."
As soon as they approached the town they saw that it was a chaotic mess, a bonfire at its centre used to cook entire mossbacks, trash and what look like actual human waste filled the area, the houses had smashed windows and some didn't even have doors.
Most people slept on mats around the place.
A large man, a mix of fat and muscle, walked up to the group, he had short blond hair and a large moustache, he was covered in strong looking armour.
"What's this? Where's Xuma and Adam?" asked the man, he had a deep, commanding voice.
Eric began shaking as soon as the man spoke up.
"They're... hmm... they got killed... sir..." Eric explained causing the man to grab him by the throat with one hand.
"And how'd you survive, then?" he asked bringing Eric close.
"I... I was... I was knocked out! They made me bring them here!" Eric exclaimed.
The large man tossed Eric aside causing him to fall into the work-in-progress moat.
"Well, you're the three that took down our two fighters?"
"I hope you're ready to make it up to us..." the man said in a threatening voice.
"We're just here because we heard you're being attacked by hill giants, though I can't say you people are without fault," replied JohnWillStab.
"Is that so? And how exactly are we at fault?" bellowed the man.
"I mean... I can tell from how you treat your underlings you aren't putting many points into intelligence, but you went off and killed them for XP." John shrugged.
The man grabbed JohnWillStab by the shirt.
"If you think I won't bloody your face beyond the point of recognition because you're a woman, you're in for a surprise!"
Alex and Jordan drew their weapons.
"Hey, I can see his bald spot from up here." JohnWillStab pointed out.
The man's face turned red with rage.
"Not that I couldn't see it before, I'm just pointing it out, I thought you might have missed it with how far up your ass your head is."
JohnWillStab used the manoeuvre ability appearing above him.
"That's unlike him..." thought Alex.
He put a dagger to the man's throat.
"Look here fatass, I will not hesitate to raise my kill-count if you don't cut his megalomaniac bullshit out," warned JohnWillStab.
"WHAT THE FUCK AM I SAYING!? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT LEVEL THIS MAN IS!" Thought JohnWillStab putting on a brave face.
"Hah!" the man laughed as he used the back of his weapons, a large boulder on a metal rod made to resemble a hammer.
He buried it in JohnWillStab's gut, raising him in the air and pressing him up against the top of the gate.
"This should keep you quiet!" the man roared.
"Learn your place you pieces of crap," he added.
"Man, this angle really isn't doing your hairline any favours..." sighed JohnWillStab.
"How- !?" the man looked up and was met with a dagger thrown by JohnWillStab slicing his cheek and lip open before landing on the ground and returning to JohnWillStab's hand.
The man recoiled as JohnWillStab fell to the ground in a less aesthetic manner than he hoped for, he stood up moments later and patted his clothes clean.
"I'll get you for this later, you bitch... buzz off for now! Consider yourself lucky..." the man said turning away from JohnWillStand and heading towards what was once the market area, it now consisted of three players capable of using healing magic, they were tied to poles in the ground and forced to heal the workers the balding tyrant forced to work without any breaks.
"Jo- JaneWillStab! Are you alright?" asked Alex running up to John.
"Yeah, I'm fine - the fatty's nothing when compared to the boars on boar hill." JohnWillStab laughed.
Eric made his way out of the moat and towards the gate.
"Now you're in for it!... You should get out of here as soon a possible!" he said shivering.
"Again, since when are you concerned about our safety," JohnWillStab asked with raised eyebrows.
"Eric! Get you ass over here!" called out a different voice from inside the town.
Hesitantly, he did as instructed.
"I have a strange feeling they are responsible for getting in trouble with the hill giants..." JohnWillStab sighed.
