"This is my chance... Bromy's been up for a while now... I'll be able to kill the girl and scare those two off without having to kill them!" Felix thought, he was wearing a mask composed of a hat he pulled over his face, secured with a rope.
He placed an apple in his mouth, that was to stop him from speaking by accident.
As he drew near the office he heard a familiar voice speak up.
"What are you doing creeping around here at night?" Alex asked,
"Alex?!"
"Shit... I really don't want to have to kill him..." Felix raised a hand towards Alex as a gun manifested in his hand.
"That's the demon king!" Thal exclaimed.
"Huh, got a revolver this time..." Felix thought as he aimed the gun at Alex.
"Forgive me!" he thought as he fired the gun.
A loud bang rang out as Alex stood there, his scarf waving in the wind, his silhouette stood against the light of the moon.
Alex blocked the bullet with Thal.
"Be careful! If he kills you with that weapon you'll die for real!" Thal exclaimed.
"I'll keep it in mind!" Alex exclaimed as he launched himself at Felix, a trail of blue fire left behind him.
Felix jumped back, firing another bullet at Alex, he aimed for his legs.
Bang!
Again the bullet was deflected as he moved in for a circular spin slash, Felix moved out of the way causing Alex to slash a wooden lamp post with his blade instead.
"He's strong!" Felix thought as he began to run.
Alex followed him, a trail of blue flames appeared behind every foot.
Felix made a turn into an unlit alley.
He kept running through the labyrinth-like layout of the tightly packed homes.

"Think I lost him..." Felix thought as the darkness he sought comfort in became illuminated by blue light.
"What the!?" Felix looked back and didn't see anyone, he looked up and saw Alex was tailing him from above, sprinting on the rooftops.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"
Alex jumped down, impaling Thal into the ground as blue flames burst upwards.
The blast knocked Felix to the ground as he looked at the demonic sight before him.
Among the azure flames the blond-haired human clutching a demon blade walked towards him.
Blue ash rained like snow
"STOP THERE, MURDERER!" Alex commanded.
"Like hell I will!" Felix thought as he began running once more.
He turned back to fire his gun and saw Alex was already running behind him, he charged forwards once more flooding the alley with flames that charred most of the walls before quickly dying off.
Felix summoned a sword and spun around in the mud.
He was ready to block Alex's attack when his foot slipped causing him to arch backwards in time to witness Alex's piercing slash that Felix would have had no chance of blocking.
"Lucky!" Felix thought as he created a flashbang-type explosive with his ring and tossed it at Alex.
The explosion of white light blinded Alex as he covered his eyes.
"Ah!"
"Got him!" Felix thought.
"Thal, take-over the looking!" Alex pleaded.
"Fine! He's still ahead of you!" Thal exclaimed.
Felix felt a pain in his gut from what he just heard.
"You have got to be shitting me, the sword is a GPS?!"
Felix jumped back as Alex unleashed another range of attacks at Felix who began his retreat once more.
"He's running! Go forward full-speed!" Thal ordered.
Sensing his opportunity, Felix dodged to the left, making a u-turn behind a thin wall.

"Aha!" he thought as the wall suddenly exploded into blue flames.
"OH FOR FUCK's SAKE!" Felix thought as Alex rubbed his eyes.
"Can you see again?" asked Thal.
"Yeah, I'm fine..." Alex replied.
"Don't push yourself! Remember this is life or death!" Thal reminded him.
"I know! But if we don't stop this monster, he'll torment more people... how many more will perma-die before I get my shit together?!" Alex demanded as he swung his sword down in the direction of Felix, the ground cracked revealing blue flames that rose up.
He wasn't able to dodge in time and the force of the hit was focused in his ankle.
"AH! SHIT!" Felix fell to the ground and summoned a gun, this time it was a flintlock.
"One shot only?!" he fired the gun at Alex, the bullet once again was deflected by Thal.
"I finally have the chance to do something!" Alex exclaimed.
He ran up ready to sever the monster's arms as he noticed that same flashbang explosive in his hand once more.
"Fuck!" Alex cried as he was blinded one more.
He felt a sharp pain in his gut and Felix threw a dagger at his torso.
"Ah!"
"Alex!" Thal cried.
"Damn you... murderer!" Alex ran at him once more only to be shot in the leg, his bone shattered.
With a sprained ankle, Felix made a run for it, hearing the attempts to follow him, he took the exit he never imagined he'd have to.
He leapt into the dirty river and swam home, making sure to stay as quiet as possible.
Though thanks to his swim, it's more likely Alex would smell him before hearing or seeing him.
Felix rushed into his home, burning the clothes and dousing himself in water and scented oils, hygiene aside, him smelling like the river would be too much of a giveaway.
He felt his throat tighten as the content of his stomach fought to escape.
He rushed into his kitchen and vomited straight into his sink
"Gross..."
"Fucking hell..."
"I never expected Alex to be that strong..."
Meanwhile, Alex crawled through the streets, one bone shattered, a gaping wound in his gut.
"We need to get you to the druid!" Thal exclaimed.
"No... I can still beat him!" Alex argued.
"No, you can't! Quit acting all heroic and get your ass to the healer!" Thal barked.
Alex wanted to argue, but he knew he Thal was right.
"Fine..." he relented before passing out.

Gangs From Another World
This story takes place in a world like our own where magic and high technology rule the day. This particular world is ruled by a feline race. The race is divided up into 12 clans (like Greek city-states), with their own territories, solar systems and planets. These 12 clans answer to the original Home World for external disputes, negations, emergencies or to direct military operations only. Within the time-frame of this story, a new Emperor has recently ascended the throne, approximately a year has past since the ascension. He was the previous ruler of the Clan Ya-kith-Thar or Clan founding #3, world of the artisan cats. Unfortunately, not all residents have benefited from technological wonders. The forgotten, who were not lucky enough to be Royal born or middle class and above, experience a hard life, like those of the colonial worlds. The poorer denizens see the technological marvels from their windows, and yet experience little of it. This is the story of one such group living in the ghetto of the Capital city, written by Horus Blackburn, leader of the North-Central Gang.
