Chapter 12b: Their Final Choices

It's already night, the Battle of Kazel lasted from the morning to mid afternoon, after the unbelievable victorious of the alliance between Starvina Kingdom and John's troops against Aloss Kingdom and Tigar Kingdom.

Before the Battle of Kazel and the Battle of Rumiss, Starvina Kingdom had sent two negotiation letters to those two Kingdoms, the details in those letters mean Starvina Kingdom will sign a Peace Agreement to Aloss Kingdom and Tigar Kingdom, the Peace Agreement will valid in 5 years.

Of course Aloss Kingdom and Tigar Kingdom ignored those letters and they were about to burn them, but after those two battles, both Kings and Princes of 2 Kingdoms dropped dead so they immediately signed the letters, the war of Starvina Kingdom against Aloss Kingdom and Tigar Kingdom has over.

After the Battle of Kazel, there are many rumors that told by the people who living in that plains, they say that King Shiva, the ruler of Tigar Kingdom is dead, King Shiva's death has been covered by Tigar Kingdom.

If the countries around Tigar Kingdom found out that their King has died, they will immediately form alliance to each others and declare war to Tigar Kingdom, King Shiva was being very respected by the enemy countries when he was alive but his country was not, Tigar Kingdom has declared many wars to take lands and many countries hate it because of that.

Corinthstar Kingdom has no action about that rumors, King Corinth said he hates wars, and if any countries that got invaded, he will immediately send messengers from his country to provide intel for the invaded countries, let them have enough time to defense their countries against invasions.

About Aloss Kingdom, its government is very corrupt, their country can have survive to these days is thank for Tigar Kingdom, but now Tigar Kingdom left them, their country will soon about to collapse and Starvina Kingdom will take that chance to unify their country again.

Now the war is over, Princess Sheria and her people have come back to the Capital city, Iris, Sheria is about to announce her relationship with John Brody to her father, King Malta.

But seems like the situation is very bad now, Sheria is now in the King's room, beside her is Supreme General of the King, General Rass.

"Sheria, you has been fooled by that man!" - King Malta feels disappointed when he heard about his daughter announcement

"Father! I trully love him! He even saved our Kingdom! I don't care if you protest me but please accepting my wish this time!" - Sheria begging her father

"I'm very shocked when I heard about your announcement, how can I let that filthy commoner to marry my daughter! "

"And even that man himself, he thinks that he worthy to be a Prince, to marry you! How can you love him when you cannot tell me his fully background!" - King Malta seems very angry at his daughter

"My Majesty! Please calm down! We can handle Her Highness later!" - General Rass trying to calm his King

"My Lord! My Lord!" - A soldier rushing to the King's room, his hands are holding a letter

Then General Rass taking that letter, his eyes focusing on the details of the letter, after done reading the letter, he then tears the letter to pieces and throws it away.

"Hahahahaha!" - General Rass laughs loud

"Why did you laugh?" - Sheria seems curious

That letter includes the details our messengers sent to us about the Battle of Kazel!"

"During the battle against King Shiva, John Brody and his troops have lost all of their metal boxes, even the metal bird, they're now just have their remaining magic tools, they're staying at an abandoned Church at Starra, not far from our Capital city!" - General Rass explains to Sheria

Then General Rass heads towards King Malta.

"My Majesty! We don't need to have alliance with that man John Brody anymore, he and his men are already no value now, please let me leading my troops to that Church to take out all of them!" - General Rass waiting for King Malta's permission

"Wait! Father!" - Sheria rejects General Rass suggestion

"Like I said, my daughter! That man is just a commoner, you can't even tell me where that man came from exactly and he also had humiliated you, that man thinks he is capable to be a next ruler, he deserves to be killed because all of that!"

"But-"

"If you go side with him, you will be killed too! I don't care if you are my daughter or not, anyone who not follows me must die!"

"Now I know why Alossian people secessioned from our Kingdom, that is because your dictatorship!"

"Shut up! If you remind me that one more time, you die!"

Then Sheria angrily getting outside the King's room, she gets back in her room and starts crying, her tears flowing like a waterfall, she lying down on her bed, nonstop crying.

Even Princess's Guard, Lady Nodrian is now powerless, she cannot do anything but to protect her Princess but can't protect her Princess future spouse, besides her are Lord Roberto and General Dalshik, they also show their feeling same as Lady Nodrian.

Back to John's platoon, they're staying at that abandoned Church, its condition is not really that bad, John and his men can have a good night to sleep in this Church instead of sleeping outside.

John is sitting at a chair, he keep looking at Sheria's sword, holding it, examines how beautiful details it is made, beside John are his soldiers, they're standing at a side that a little far from John, talking about something.

"Should we make a try?" - Sergeant Grass asks Sergeant Grey

"Yes! We have lost 15 men, we should thinking about going back where we came before, that forest! If the blue light came from that forest brought us to this place, it might have a chance to bring us back our world!" - Sergeant Grey trying to explains to the soldiers

"You're right, Grey! If we keep countinue like this, we will all die!" - Private Mike agrees with Grey's suggestion

Then Private Anderson goes towards John, he talks to John:

"Captain! I think we should go back to the forest we came from before, there might be a chance we can come back our world!" - Anderson tells John

"Yes! Captain! I think we should go now in the night, we may get back at that forest in about few days!" - Corporal Uban convinces John

"That's right, Captain! We should head back to the forest as Sergeant Grey's suggestion!" - Sergeant Grass also convinces John

We cannot go back our world anymore!" - John returns Sheria's sword to the scabbard then stands up and says to the soldiers

"We should go back, John! If that forest brought us here, it might have a chance to take us back!" - Sergeant Grey convinces John

"Even if your conclusion is true, let's do that later when I and Sheria ruling this country together!"

"I don't think you can do that! We don't know much about this world, you and us might be killed by the other nobles of that Kingdom, we only make acquaintance to the Princess and her people!"

"Think about it, John! We have lost 15 men, we will all die at this rate!"

"Let's follow Grey's suggestion, Captain!" - Sergeant Grass trying to convine John

"As I said, we cannot coming back anymore and in the beginning I have said that when you people choose to follow me, there will be no going back!" - John announces

"You people dare to order me to do what you say? If you people get out of here, you people will be shot!" - John warns his soldiers

"You're already don't want to come back in the beginning, John!" - Grey talks to John

"In the first battle in this world, I saw you smile at the scene General Dalshik cutting enemy head off, and also in the earlier battle, I also saw that, your smile were very sick! You wanted to fight! To kill!" - Grey explains to John

Then John opens that sick smile again in front of his soldiers, they're all terified.

"What is good for coming back? I've killed 10 people before I joined military! The police keep chasing me but they are so stupid, they didn't find any clues that can arrest me! I joined military because I want to know the purpose why I live, and I know why I have to live, is to serve my country, is to kill the enemy, is to enjoy the joys of killing! - John directly announces to his soldiers

"Our military don't need a psychopath like you! You are just a psychopath and a dictator, just like Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler!" - Grey announces directly to John

"What? I'm like Putin and Hitler? No! I'm John Brody and I said I enjoy killing, enjoy fighting but I didn't say I enjoy wars!" - John rejects Grey

"I don't like wars, what did our country do when Putin invaded Ukpaine? They didn't send any troops to help then? I know the Ukpainian people had won the war but look at how many innocent people die! Those people deserved to live a better life!"

"I love to kill, I can't stop my mind thinking about killing but I trying to keep my mind calm everytime! I tried! Let's live in this world, you people don't need to be tied by laws from our world anymore!"

"Stop talking about killing! What is good for that!" - Corporal Uban talks to John

"You don't have the right to talk, I don't need a soldier like you in my platoon, you hide everytime in the battle!" - John shouts to Uban

"Yes, I admid that I hid in every battle, I was so scared! But what is good for killing! I want to get back to my wife and my kids! I really love them at this time! I want to hug them! I want to go back my world!" - Uban is about to cry

Then John pulls out the M1911 pistol and aims towards Uban in front his soldiers, he shows no hestiate when killing but later changes the pistol direction and shoots to a wall beside Uban.

Then John looks behind, he sees some of his soldiers are already pointing their guns towards him, John didn't surprise, then he returns his pistol to his belt.

"Even if you kill me right now, you cannot go back to that forest anymore! You will encounter the bandits, monsters and will run out of water and foods in few days, you will die before getting back to the forest! We should stand together, not killing each others" - John says to his soldiers

"We're all sorry, Captain! We we-" - The soldiers feel guilty when pointing their guns at John

"Don't you worry! As long as I can still control my mind, there won't be any problem!" - John calms down his soldiers

Then all the soldiers decided to stay with John, John is now doesn't want to return to his world anymore but he allows his soldiers to return to their world when he and Sheria taking the rule of Starvina Kingdom.

Then, John and his soldiers stayed overnight at that Church, the sun is already risen, but John and his soldiers fates are about to end.
