Lord Joyde: Hello, guys and girls! How are you all doing this fine day?
So first off, I guess I should introduce myself...
I am a writer that goes by the penname - Lord Joyde The Madman - that comes from FanFiction.net. Why am I saying this? Well, I figured some of you may already know me which, if you do, then HI! *waves*
Basically, I'm a guy who merged several anime with my favorite video game, Prototype and used that as a basis to create a rather vast and expansive universe and while that in itself makes me feel like I've achieved something great, alongside my usual visitor count being over twenty-five thousand per month and views several times that number, I believe its finally time to stop being a copy-cat and form my own story.
Granted, like most writers usually do, I have taken great amounts of inspiration from the previous works I've read or seen and, as such, there will be quite a few similarities with some known and others not well known works out there, hiding amid the mass of data that is the internet.
However, if I'm known for something, its my unusual and often strange plots! Which is also my way of saying how what you've read in the description will not exactly set things in stone.
Oh and, if you haven't already noticed, I'm pretty crazy. I've faked my own death just to see what would happen, I've killed off characters and laughed in people's faces when they cried, I openly invite flamers and children to come try fighting me... yeah, that's about it.
By the way, if anyone's up for a flaming PM war then please, I BEG OF YOU, ATTACK ME!
Anyways, enough of my rambling... here comes the prologue, enjoy!

You really think that kind of shit would reach 900+ pages worth of story, not to mention 70+ chapters? I MEAN COME ON.

When he held his head high, an action to signify his pride, a bullet pierced through his under chin into his brain and out the back of his head. He looked at me in disbelief, like the others around. None of them anticipated that I could still fire my pistol, much less accurately aiming at one's head at the hip level, after being turned into a bloody meat-sieve. "You... Monster!!!" To the Boss' dying words, I only replied with a smile as my strength left my body.

And spread his name throughout the Galilean Powers. *** Campaign is a sidestory within its NanoPunk parent series, Project Starfarer. (Yet to be published. Be on the lookout for it!) In which the first transhuman known to humanity, the Starfarer, invokes a plan to seed terrestrial life throughout the galaxy. Campaign takes place around the middle of that timeline and explores the life of a key figure in that universe, Jordan Astros. And explores one of four great nations thriving in the Solar System during that time. A Meritocracy that spans Jupiter and its 79 moons, The Galilean Powers. What you'll find in Campaign: Brutal melee combat in airless and pressurized low gravity environments. A technology based progression system influenced by merit and accomplishments; using tech that's theoretically possible to exist in the near-future. An exploratory perspective of the dozens of Galilean societies, or 'Powers,' from Jordans; and sometimes others', POV. What you wont find: Romance. Harems. An MC who receives shortcuts, handouts, learns things unnaturally fast or has OP plot armor. Jordan is not a special individual. Jordan is not OP and he likely never will be. He's no different than any other citizen in the Galilean Powers and will certainly face as many defeats as he does wins. He'll suffer losses and grow as an individual, while the Powers evolves around him as well. This is semi-hard sci-fi/NanoPunk and takes place in a fictional version of our future solar system. Centered around technology that's plausible in the near-centuries to come. Everything abides by the laws of physics/thermodynamics (As best that I understand them, at least. I'm no scientist.) No artificial gravity, inertial dampeners, teleportation, FTL, or hand-wavy materials will be found in the Project Starfarer universe. Just advanced automation, nanotechnology, cybernetics and AI.
