Edited: As said in the comments, I'll be posting a sparknotes version of what ill be changing in the earlier chapters so you all don't have to go back and reread everything all over again when things get changed.

Editx2: The edits I'll be doing on the chapters are low priority vs newer chapters, I just work on them when I have a spare moment, so don't expect them to come fast. Also, the edits themselves won't change the story too much, mostly minor details. So if you're reading this update before reading the story, dont worry, you can go ahead and read the story as it is as not much will change via edits.

Now onto the changes planned:

Lenzeros' Layout:

Originally a typical city with a square wall lining the perimiter, now it'll be pentagonal.

The five temples have been cut and in their place will be one big temple. The manor is now changed a small castle.

This bit alone will require quite a bit of work.

Chapter 3: Growing Up

This chapter is the earliest one that will see big changes, mostly on how the whole growing up bit works. As someone pointed out to me, just because Daen learns the alphabet doesn't mean he knows what the words would mean until someone taught him. As well as a brief introduction to basic numbers via the twins' birthday.

Over the chapter the father, Wekken, will go away on business a lot with Yvette the second wife, who is actually a Priestess of Opell. Hints at this will be given in Chapter 2 via the necklace she wears with the crest of Opell hanging from the chain. But Chapter 5's recollection about the ring will explain the whole Priests and Priestesses are allowed to marry bit.

Kelmon will leave for the Officer's academy at age 12 instead of 16.

General Information:

Months and Weeks will change and be given names. Originally it was 12 months at 40 days each for a total of 480 days in a year. However this meant that every three years was an extra year in our world so a 3 year old would be 4, 6 would be 8 etc. This'll be changed to 10 months with 40 days each so the year will only be slightly longer than our own.

Mages will be called Enchanters from now on, which I started doing in the later chapters, but they will use the name exlusively in conversation. Daen will merely think mages at the start before switching.

Beastmen renamed to Beastkin. Simply due to the fact that not all Beasts are men. Sorry Beastwomen.

Added Details:

I'll be going back over every chapter over the coming weeks and seeing if I could improve them so that the reader can have a clearer picture of how things are without being too descriptive. I don't want to spend like 10 pages describing a room after all.
