*Planet Chiron – Zellfina’s POV*
I sat down on the throne and let out a deep sigh. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes, “I honestly wish that I could go with him instead of staying here.” I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling like I could somehow see through it straight out into space towards him. I smiled, “I hope he is having fun at least.” I remembered some of the stuff that Dani told me about his childhood and overall it wasn’t too bad, but there were a couple of moments that may have mentally broke a normal person.
I accessed the computer built into the throne and watch a memory that was saved onto the computer in our study. Every time I watch this video I burn the image of that bitch into my mind. If he ever takes us to his home planet I will kill her, slowly. The memory got to the point where the destruction inside of him took over. I shivered unconsciously when it spoke. It may just be a holographic video, but it still sent shivers down my spine. This was a time when his personal power was less than a child on Chiron as well.
I shut the video off and stood up from the throne. I was supposed to be teaching Zendra how to rule the kingdom in our stead, but she seems to be avoiding it lately. I activated a neutral tracking spell and I could feel the location of Zendra in the palace. I snorted out loud, “Damn child is in the barracks again.” Her personality has always been like that. She wanted to go on the front lines like her sister Camellia, but I didn’t want to possibly lose both of my children. I did semi give her what she wanted though.
I assigned her to the 14th army which is situated here on Chiron as the protective army. Then the old space station in our orbit came online for the first time in who knows how long. We would have taken control over it a long time ago, but there are some stories, or legends I should say, that if we were to board it then it would self-destruct and come crashing into the planet. I didn’t think that the humans that helped build the thing would make it to where we couldn’t step on it at all.
Thinking about it now after everything that happened it may have been a sign of respect for the humans that died on it. Making it a final resting place for the thousands of humans that were celebrating their finished goal. I ignored that military brained brat and walked out into the courtyard. I could instantly sense some of the guards that were tailing me and I smiled. I could sense a few of them, but I knew there were a couple that I couldn’t.
I looked up in the sky towards where the space station used to be and frowned. I suddenly felt the urge to punch my husband and I don’t know why. The feeling just hit me suddenly and I unconsciously released some magic power. The air started to contort around me and the ground cracked from the pressure. The guards that were tailing me surrounded me, “What is wrong your majesty?” I released the magic power when I noticed it and smile, “Nothing, sorry for the false alarm.” They nodded and disappeared before I looked up at the sky again, “You were supposed to call me dear.”

*God King’s Domain – Vitamor’s POV*
I put my head in my hands, “Shit, shit, shit.” Silthis sat down beside me, “What’s wrong dear?” I sighed and looked at her, “You’re pregnant that’s what.” Silthis laughed, “Just because you shot your load in me doesn’t automatically make me pregnant.” I sighed again, “No, I can turn a setting on that allows me to pretty much impregnate anything on the first try. I had it turned off until just now.” Silthis’ face turned white and then red, “So I am pregnant and that is a problem for you!?”
I quickly waved my hands in front of me, “No that isn’t it. Having a child isn’t a problem for me at all. I just promised another that she would have my first child. I hate breaking my promises is all.” Silthis stared at my face for a little bit before she smiled, “Oh that’s all? That is an easy fix.” I raised an eyebrow, “How the fuck is that an easy fix? In nine months, a little one is going to pop out of you or an egg you lay.”
She laughed again, “Quit thinking about it in human terms dear. I do lay an egg, but I can use magic to slow down the growth rate of said egg in my body.” I widened my eyes, “That is possible?” She nodded, “Even if I didn’t slow the growth rate down it would take about three months for the egg to be laid and then another twelve months for it to hatch.” I raised an eyebrow, “So I have fifteen months at minimum to impregnate her and then hopefully her child is born first?”
She nodded, “Yup, but if she truly loves you and if you explain the situation she may not be that upset about it.” I instantly shook my head, “I can’t do that. If you are going to be one of my women then I want you to get along with the rest and vice versa. Telling her what you did would make her mad at you and I don’t know how long it would be before she forgave you.” Silthis smiled and nodded her head, “Then why don’t we just call her then?”
I raised an eyebrow, “You going to let the communication actually go through?” She laughed, “Yes, it can go through.” I pulled out the communicator that I was given from my storage. I clicked the hologram options and then called Zellfina. I sat the phone on the ground a bit in front of us and then stood by Silthis. It rang for a minute or two before the familiar and missed form appeared in front of us.
She saw me and smiled, “It’s about time you called dear. You were supposed to call me every night.” She pouted a little bit and I smiled, “I am sorry I had been preoccupied recently and couldn’t really contact you.” She laughed and then looked at Silthis, “Is she the cause of your preoccupation? You couldn’t call me because you were “busy” with her?” She made air quotes around the word busy.
I coughed and then looked off to the side, this caused her to laugh and shake her head, “You know I don’t care if you add more girls to your harem, hell I would think something was wrong with you if you didn’t. So why be embarrassed about it?” I sighed and then looked at her, “Actually there is something I need to tell you.” Her face darkened at that, “What is it?” I sucked in a big breath and then told her, “She is pregnant.”

Zellfina stiffened up and then fell back onto the throne that I could see through the hologram. She put her head in her hands and I could see here shoulders started to shake. I couldn’t hear anything so I thought she may have put it on mute. I looked down at the ground, “I am sorry Zellfina. I didn’t mean for this to happen.” She looked up and then I could hear her speak, “Didn’t mean for what to happen? Fucking her and getting her pregnant or breaking your promise to me?” I continued to look at the ground feeling utterly like shit, “Both.”
“Vitamor.” I heard her say my name and I looked up at her. I could see that she had some tears on her face, “Do you still love me?” I vigorously nodded my head, “Of course I do!” I saw a small smile on her face, “Then everything will be fine.” I smiled, “So you’re not mad at me?” She snorted, “Nope still pissed, but I still love you so I will eventually get over this.” I felt my shoulders drop when she said she was still pissed, but I had no one to blame but myself.
I heard her speak again, “New promise, I get the next two kids from you. Period. I don’t care if you are stuck in someplace and the only way out is to impregnate someone.” Silthis and I stiffened at those words. Zellfina smiled when she saw that, “I figured that was it. I didn’t think you were the type to break your promises easily.”
She looked over at Silthis, “As for you, I am pissed that you would hold my husband, well our husband captive, but as part of the family now I can’t be pissed at you forever. We will talk about this when I see you in person. Until then take care of him for me please.” She looked at me again, “I guess having a step-child isn’t too bad either. I do want legitimate children from you though so like I said I get the next two.”
I nodded, “Okay, but can it wait until I am a little more powerful? I want to guarantee them a safe home at least.” She looked over at Silthis and then back at me. I quickly spoke, “This was a special circumstance.” She shook her head, “No, no waiting. Next time I see you we are going to fuck until I am pregnant, period.” I sighed, “Yes dear.” She smiled again, “You don’t have to worry about the children so much dear. Almost all creatures in this universe wouldn’t stoop low enough to attack a person’s children. There other loved ones are free game, but the children are innocent and usually left out.”
I smiled, “If that is true then they can stay in this universe until they are strong enough to protect themselves.” She nodded, “Exactly. Now nothing is one hundred percent guaranteed in life, but ninety-nine percent is better than zero to ninety-eight percent.” I nodded, “That is true.” Silthis spoke up, “I think we should end the call here. There is someone trying to force their way into the domain again.” Zellfina widened her eyes at her words, but whatever question she had she didn’t ask. She nodded her head, “Okay. Take care dears and remember Silthis, we will talk soon.”
I thought I could hear Silthis swallow some saliva, but that may have just been me. Silthis nodded, “Noted.” The connection ended after that and Silthis spoke to me, “That went better that I thought it might.” I sighed, “I feel that the rest aren’t going to be as nice, but I didn’t promise them any children right now so maybe I am just worrying too much.” I looked over at Silthis, “Who is trying to break in?” She waved her hand and another hologram appeared.
The person inside of it was very familiar. Silthis spoke again, “Some Demon keeps trying to break in. She even tried to bend space to walk in.” I laughed, “Let her in.” Silthis frowned, “She is a Demon Space God, even I don’t know if I could take her on without much trouble.” I raised an eyebrow, “You’re a God Princess though.” She nodded, “That is true, but she is a God of Space while I am a God Princess of Time.” I instantly was shocked, “Of time?” She nodded, “Yeah, I know that time is supposed to be all encompassing, but to travel through space is to travel through time. Most Space Mages are resistant to Time Magic to a certain extent. Other than Space Mages I could probably handle some God Kings of other elements, granted this is only enough to keep my life.”
I nodded, “There is a huge gap in between God Ranks.” She nodded, “Exactly.” I smiled again, “Go ahead and let her in, she is mine anyways.” She nodded her head and opened the domain to let Xenova in. I turned to her again, “Do you not know any other magic to go against her if you had to?” She shook her head, “I only know Time and Neutral Magic such as the compulsion I tried on you and the growth magic.” I furrowed my brows, “Then how did you become a God Princess? I thought you had to merge two elements to become an Immortal in Magic.”
She smiled, “That is true in a normal circumstance, but I was born as a Demi-God ranked being. My mom was at the God Rank when she had me so that automatically made me a Demi-God ranked being. If one of the parents is at the God Rank then the offspring with bet at the Demi-God level at the minimum.” I nodded my head, that makes sense.” I wonder if the gods from all the religions back on earth were real and their Demi-God children as well. I remembered the story about Hercules and then smiled. There was a trait called herculean strength so maybe.
I looked over at Silthis, but before I could say anything there was a portal next to me and a very sexy demon grabbed on to me, “Master!” The portal disappeared and I was left with Xenova hugging me tightly. She pulled back and looked me over, “Are you okay master?” I smiled, “I am fine Xenova.” She released a breath and then looked at Silthis. She growled, “What were you trying to do with master!?”
She tried to get ready some space spell, but I put a hand on her shoulder, “She didn’t do anything to me so relax.” She looked at me for a minute and then did as she was told. She glared at Silthis, but she walked over and stood behind me to my right. I sighed, “I really don’t know how I am going to explain this to the girls.” Silthis spoke up, “Well let’s just go talk to them. We will never know how they will react until we tell them.”
I nodded my head, “I guess you are right.” Xenova had a inquisitive look on her face, but she didn’t say anything. I spoke to Silthis again, “Do you need to relinquish control of the domain tot someone else before we leave?” She nodded, “I do, but do you think that maybe you could talk to the king of this planet for me?” I raised an eyebrow, “You want me to see if he cares if the people living here come out of the domain?” She nodded her head and looked at the floor, “Yes please.”
I smiled and shook my head at how even the most powerful of women would act innocent and a little weak in front of those they care for. I put a hand on her chin, “I have no problem doing this for you or anyone else I care for, but be warned this planet has a pretty free view on sex.” She smiled, “That’s okay, most of the people in this city are Lamias and they can be pretty free and seductive due to their snake like nature.” I nodded, “Makes sense.”
She smiled at me again, “Sense that is the case I won’t relinquish control just yet. We need to be able to get back in to tell everybody the good news. If there is any.” She frowned a little at that and I decided to reassure her, “There will be. That guy may be the king of this planet, but I am the Emperor of his Solar System.” She raised an eyebrow, “You said that you were an Emperor, but I didn’t think it would be of this Solar System.”
Xenova spoke up, “It’s not only this Solar System, but countless galaxies as well.” Silthis widened her eyes and looked at me, “Just what empire are you the leader of?” I smiled, “The United Draconian Empire.” Her jaw almost hit the floor when she heard that, “The United Draconian Empire! How could a human be the Emperor of the Draconian Empire? Last bit of news I heard from the outside a proud draconian named Zellfina was the Queen. You don’t mean…”
I nodded, “Yup.” She sighed, “So she was your wife then. From what I have heard about her I don’t know how you did it, but it makes me proud.” I raised an eyebrow, “Why is that?” She smiled, “Because you’re my man too.” I laughed, “I guess you got a point there. I don’t know why that would make you proud, but I will take it as a compliment.” Xenova spoke up again, “You added another woman to your harem master?” I nodded, “Yeah, but that’s not all I did.”
She had another inquisitive look on her face, but then she seemed like she remembered something, “So the Skeleton King was talking about that!?” She looked over at Silthis and then stared at her stomach. I frowned and didn’t even think about her gaze, “I didn’t expect for you guys to meet him! Did he do anything to you guys?” She quickly shook her head, “No, it just showed up as soon as our connection with you disappeared and we started to panic.”
I released a breath, “That’s good. I am happy that it didn’t do anything.” She furrowed her brows, “Do you know him master? We didn’t even know that it was a him.” I sighed, “I don’t know him, but I was told that I don’t really want him to come visit me suddenly. It usually means something bad.” She nodded, “He seemed really powerful, but we really couldn’t tell. He just showed up saying that Hades sent him.”
I smiled and then laughed, “It makes so much sense now.” I was still laughing when Xenova spoke up, “Do you know Hades master?” I shook my head, “Not personally, but I do know his sister.” She raised an eyebrow, “His sister?” I nodded, “It’s a long story and one of these days I may tell you, but for now don’t worry about it okay?” She nodded her head and then stopped speaking.
I turned to Silthis again, “You ready?” She was still staring with her mouth partially open when I spoke. My voice seemed to bring her back to her senses, “You know the sister of the Primordial God of Death?” I shrugged my shoulders, “I spent a bit of time at her place one time.” She sucked in a breath and I just laughed. I looked over at Xenova, “You ready?” She nodded, “Yes master. I’ll activate a portal.” At this time Silthis had let Xylnick back into the room.
I shook my head, “No need.” Before she could say or do anything I grabbed both her and Silthis’ hand, while Xylnick grabbed onto my shoulder, and activated [Image Teleportation]. We were all standing in the main area of the palace in an instant. Xenova stared around the room and was in utter shock, “How did we get back so fast? Even my portals don’t work that fast!” I smiled, “Magic.” She clicked her tongue, “I know that master.” I laughed and then heard running footsteps. I looked down the far hallway and saw the girls running my way. Camellia, Dani, and Sylvie jumped on me, knocking me to the ground, while Violet just stood back smiling.
They were all hugging me and cursing me. I smiled at the scene and I caught movement down the hall. I saw a cloaked figure hovering at the end of it. I smiled and winked at him before he waved and then disappeared into the wall. After a few minutes of words filled with love and a few curses thrown my way they finally got off me.
I stood back up and smiled, “I missed you too girls.” Dani spoke up, “Where were you and who is that?” She pointed towards Silthis. I sighed, “I was in the domain of a God King and only the owner of the domain can allow people to enter and leave.” I pointed at Silthis, “This is Silthis, she is the owner of that domain and a new member of the family.” When the words left my mouth all the girls expressions darkened.
Camellia spoke up, “We were all worried about you and you were just out getting some ass?” Sylvie spoke right after her, “I didn’t expect you to chase some tail after a bit of separation from us.” Dani didn’t say anything at all she just stared at me. I sighed, “I didn’t plan on getting ass, nor did I chase any tail.” Dani rolled her eyes, “So she just came to you then?” I shrugged, “That is pretty much almost what happened.”
They were about to say something again, but Silthis spoke up, “He speaks the truth. I took a liking to him and told him that the only way he could leave was if he slept with me.” I immediately facepalmed. So much for them all getting along smoothly. Dani spoke up, “So you basically raped him?” I widened my eyes at her, way to make me sound completely like a bitch. I sighed, “Just stop guys. If you want to be mad at anyone it should be me. In the end, I made the choice to sleep with her plus, I just can’t let her go now.”
They looked at me and Sylvie spoke up, “Why is that?” I sighed again, “Well I thought that you guys would be okay with it for one.” Dani spoke this time, “We would have been okay with it if you would have talked about it with us first.” The other girls nodded at her words. I sighed, “I was going to, but…” They looked at me when I stopped and Camellia spoke up, “But what?”
I shook my head, “I have no excuses. I fucked up and I am sorry for it, but I can’t just let her go now.” Dani snorted, “Is she that good a fuck?” I sighed for what seemed like the thousandth time today, “It’s not that.” They all stepped closer to me and Sylvie spoke again, “Then why can’t you just let it be a good fuck and then go on.” I rubbed the bridge of my nose, “Because it’s hard for me to just let someone I slept with go. After sleeping with someone I just can’t bring myself to see them sleeping with another man.”
Dani spoke up, “So you are possessive of your women?” I didn’t know how to answer that question. Silthis spoke up though, “Is that such a bad thing though?” The girls looked at her and she continued talking, “As long as he doesn’t treat you as a possession what is wrong with him being a little possessive? To me it just means that he really cares for you guys.” She sighed, “I honestly wasn’t thinking much when I asked him to sleep with me, but I have never found a man that I wanted to be with until now.”
Dani spoke up again, “So you just decided to fuck him on your first meeting?” Silthis nodded, “Yeah, I know it probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do, but I really wasn’t thinking at that moment.” I stood there and watched the girls have a conversation with Silthis. Violet decided to step over towards me. She spoke quietly to me, “She is a nice catch sire.” I nodded, “She is very beautiful, but so are all of you.”
She blushed at the words and then looked off to the side. Xylnick was standing behind me and off to the left smiling at the entire situation. He seemed to be getting some enjoyment out of all of this. Dani suddenly yelled out, “Pregnant!?” I turned to the girls and saw that they were all staring at Silthis who was holding her flat stomach. I sighed again and sat down on a chair while Xylnick put his hand on my shoulder.

Sword System Academia
2/17 NOTICE: I'm putting this on hiatus, possibly permanently. I didn't want to spam with an "update chapter", so hopefully here and in the story blurb will get enough eyeballs. There are a couple reasons for ending SSA for now. 1) I wrote the next chapter but wasn't happy with it. I've been less and less satisfied with SSA's quality the more I thought about it. Part of the reason is... 2) I am seriously thinking about trying to publish some novels to help pay the bills, since I don't have my other source of income anymore. I have never asked for anything from SSA readers, no money, not even a review or rating. SSA is written for fun to amuse myself, primarily, and I would kind of feel bad actually charging someone money for something as unserious as that. I don't think it is good enough to ask anything in return. To use an analogy from music, SSA is more like a jam session with a bunch of friends. You're just chiling and having fun playing some music. I mean, if you are Mozart or even Eminem, your jam session is good enough to sell, but for an amateur beginner like myself, haha, no. If I want to publish something, I feel like I need to go the proper route of practice and rehearsals, which might be more similar to a classical concert performance. With SSA, I work from worldbuilding notes and a loose outline, but what you are essentially getting is the first draft with lots of so-called pantsing. Pushing out a web novel like this also means it is very difficult to go back and improve things without breaking everything else downstream. I wanted to try this "jamming" approach, as it was a good way to teach me about another aspect of writing, but to move forward, I think I need to hone my "classical" techniques, which emphasize rewriting, or at least, revising outlines. 3) While I intend to try to make $$$, my actual current goal is to "get gud". I've spent a lot of time recently trying to understand the self-publishing industry, and I'm pretty sure I can make some money by using short-term strategies with my current amateur skill level. But I've seen too many authors come and go/burnout, and really, the only way that I think I can enjoy writing and still make money on a long-term basis is to become a better writer. And the next step for me, which I haven't done much before, is to spend more time on rewriting and outlines. That is pretty much antithetical to the way SSA is developing. I've always been kind of 20/80 plotting/pantsing, but I want to spend a lot more time outlining before I even start writing. SSA jam sessions don't really fit my goal anymore. If you're curious about what's next, read on... Among other regrets, I regret not finishing SSA. It's the first story I've dropped, but then again, it's the first web novel I've attempted, so I suppose that's not a surprise. I don't think traditional web novel formats suit me that well. The whole SSA story I had loosely planned (beyond a first book or major arc) is way too large as well. Big story = good for neverending webnovel with Patreons, bad for penniless and fickle writer like me. I am currently outlining a complete trilogy to another story in great detail. I want the story to end concisely, and I also want the chance to really spend a lot of time on the full outline to spot pacing problems, character issues, lost themes, and so on. I'll still share this story on RR. What I intend to do is finish book 1, flash-publish the whole thing here for a few weeks, then publish on the big Zon. Repeat for books 2 and 3. The upcoming story will be about crafting heroes. The backdrop is an isekai-like setting, where elves will summon humans to their world as heroes, but the whole hero crafting business is still in its infancy. The elven mage researchers are figuring out how to imbue heroes with power, while the heroes are trying to figure out how to use the powers that they gain. Humans are the best hero templates because they are blank and have no intrinsic magic. Or at least that what the elves thought. The human MC has his own secrets... There will be some similarities with litrpgs, but I would call it more a progression fantasy or gamelit story. For example, the stats are very low, at least initially. Say we have a stat called Str. Going from Str = 1 to Str = 2 is a huge deal. Also, going from Dex = 0 to Dex = 1 is an even bigger deal. I guess you could call it a "low-stat litrpg", haha. Also, the heroes won't be gaining stats simply by killing things or leveling up. You can't increase stats arbitrarily, either. There will be rules to how stats can increase, and how they work with each other. The elven mages will be figuring out these rules in order to craft stronger and stronger heroes. Some inspiration will be from cultivation magic systems, but there won't be overt cultivation, at least for now. A theme I really want to explore is the idea of interactions. That includes things like hero crafter vs hero, tactics vs strategy, skill synergies, racial interactions (dwarves, elves, etc), and son. Yeah, so hero crafting. I'm super excited about this project and venturing into publishing. If you want to check out the upcoming story, you can follow my RR author profile to see when it drops here. Finally... THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! I'm very sorry that SSA is stopping, but I hope at least some of you will find the next story at least as enjoyable, if not more. Thanks to all the readers who gave SSA a shot. Big hug or solid fistbump to all of you, whichever you prefer! I hope this message is not a downer but an upper, because I am psyched!! -purlcray -------------- BLURB: Talen, youngest Master of the Koroi, makes his way to the Empire's capital to salvage his clan's fate. But the bustling city has few opportunities for the traditionalist. For the old sword clans are fading. With the rise of alchemy, gold can purchase strength that ordinarily took years of training to cultivate. Sword artists, once rare and accomplished, are quickly growing in number, especially among the wealthy noble class. Even with such alchemy, though, no one has advanced to the rank of Grandmaster in countless years. Talen's true dream is to walk the path of a sword artist to the very end while fulfilling his clan duties. And then the Swordgeists return, fabled founders of all sword arts, gods who had touched the world long ago and vanished. These myths turned into reality warn of a coming threat. Alongside this warning, they issue an invitation to the Sword System Academy, a path to power beyond the mortal realm. But first, they will hold an entrance exam... Story notes:Sword System Academia blends elements of western and asian fantasy such as xianxia and litrpg. I took parts from different genres I enjoyed and twisted them into my own creation. There will be an explicit system, both of the litrpg kind and the hard(ish) magic kind, but it is embedded within an academic structure that will develop over the course of the story. This is my attempt to design a unique type of system, the System Academia.
