Prologue: Slave
“Haah haah….haah…”
A hooded figure with a tattered robe ran through the back alleyways.
Behind were five armed men that ran in the same direction. This suggests that the hooded figure was on the run, and was being chased.
“Stop right there!”
“Running is useless! [Haste]”
One of the men chasing recited a skill to speed up. Soon enough, he caught up to the hooded figure immediately.
“Now, Come with me if you don’t want to get hu-”
“[Freeze]”
“!?”
A soft voice let out from the hooded figure’s mouth which suggests that the hooded figure was a girl.
With the incantation of the skill, the man that caught up to her froze in ice while oozing a cold feel.
“Gh-! Idiot! He forgot that we are chasing a collarless slave here!”
A slave was given a collar to suppress their magic, made from the so called [Anti-magic Metal]. This meant that the girl in the hood was supposed to be a slave but managed to escape which now explains why she was on the run.
“Tch- no use holding back now. You guys, don’t let her escape by all means! It’s fine to hurt her just enough not to kill her!”
“Understood! [Fireball]”
“[Earth Wall]”
With their words, a ball of fire about the size of a human head appeared in front of one of the man’s hands and shot straight towards the slave while the other made an earth wall appear from the ground in front of the slave in order to not let her escape.
Seeing this, the slave girl turned around and revealed her own magic.
“[Reversal]”
The fire ball stopped in front of her as if it hit a wall and shot back to the caster.
While the men chasing her revealed shocked expressions as they try to dodge it, the slave girl turned back to the earth wall and touched it with her hand.

“[Earth Bender]”
With that, the earth wall became soft at her touch and was able to bend it to her will thereby flattening it and pulling it back up to stop her pursuers.
After running for quite a while, she turned her head backwards confirming she lost them.
With a sigh, the girl, still had her hood up, revealed a sigh of relief as she sat down on a nearby crate.
“…I finally lost them…now I can return to my village but…”
Is returning a good thing? Is what she thought as she stares at the stars above her. It was already midnight and most of the townspeople were asleep, all that’s left in the streets are mostly adventurers.
Since she lived in a complicated village…no, it was more wise to call it a prison, but since her family is in there, she held complicated feelings if she should return or not.
“To begin with, if I return now, I will only cause them trouble…And I don’t even think if I can pass the gatekeeper…”
The girl once again sighed but then a thought suddenly came.
“…That’s right…if I can just get the proof from him and present it to the church, I can free my village! But…what should I do? I just escaped being his slave…now I have to go back…”
As she said, her supposed to be owner was the target of said person she need to get the proof from. But since she just escaped, she didn’t really want to return as his slave.
“I’ll just have to sneak in to get the proof…no matter what, I’ll definitely save my village!”
With resolute eyes, she stood up and began her preparations.

However, four of them will take several dozen chapters (beginning Chapter 73) to start happening, with the first two "Books" focusing just on Zack, which is why there's the Multiple PoV's tag on here, even though only one's around at first.
