《Seeker》27G Entombed

As his rage abated, Galileo felt empty. Desolate even. Unsure of the passage of time, he was enveloped in utter darkness as even the distant stars shone no more. As all things ceased to be, he was left alone. In blackness beyond compare Galileo sat down, reality itself arranging itself to be his throne and he wept. Tears of emerald flame fell down and combusted, reduced to nothingness just like everything Galileo had ever known.
Time itself was wrinkled and broken in the wake of destruction as Galileo cried and cried, unsure of what to do next. It may have been after centuries or perhaps after just an instant that the first change happened. Something approached Galileo, at a speed that defied even his newly expanded comprehension. Before he understood it, something appeared right in front of him, clutching his burning neck. Galileo attempted to retaliate with all his incredible might, yet his flames which could burn away stars did not even make that being flinch as they were easily dispersed.
“What have you done!?” a yell shook Galileo’s mind, clear despite the lack of air around them. Even though he did not understand the words spoken he could perfectly comprehend their meanings. Being forced to look up, Galileo could finally clearly see the being in front of him. The first thing that captivated him was a pair of azure blue eyes, staring through and into his very being. Next he began to see the being's other features, such as his rough visage or pitch-black hair. Next Galileo's eyes landed upon the man's clothing: A robe woven from shifting azure flames. Images of times long passed moved along the fabric as though it was a living canvas.
When the man saw that Galileo would not answer him he waved his hand. The already fragile space ruptured completely and another human form was pulled through.

"Why did you allow this to happen, Third," the man glared the new arrival, another man covered in tattoos from head to toe.
"Fuck off, First," the new arrival seemed confused at first before he showed a middle finger as an answer.
"Is this your doing," First beckoned with his hand, indicating at the utter devastation surrounding them.
"You should really find therapy for your paranoia," the tattooed man just scoffed, "I am sure you can find a civilisation developed enough to offer those."
"Explain what happened!" First demanded.
"Occam's razor, dipshit," Third scoffed back, "Green eyes, green flame. Now his eyes are dead and grey, just like mine. He found his purpose and then saw it slip away right through his fingers, so he snapped. I haven't seen shit, but it's easy to guess this much."
"Is that so?" First turned back to Galileo who was still held by his hand. Under the pressure, Galileo managed to concentrate enough to nod. He had not been paying much attention to the conversation as he had grown far too apathetic to care. The once great will being devoured by the emptiness within him.
"Another one I've lost," First sighed after seeing Galileo's answer, his face returning to neutrality, "I can feel the Stare fading. I could forgive the destruction you have wrought, however, Its influence is already too far-reaching within you. Corruption occupying every fibre of your being. I can feel it afflict your reason, dictate your thoughts and puppet your actions. Therefore, I am sorry, but I have a duty to fulfil."
"Haven't he suffered enough?!" a startled shout arrived from the side as First raised his other hand towards Galileo's forehead.
"Do you dare dispute my judgement, traitor," First stopped to stare at the tattooed man.

"No one deserves this," Third pointed at himself, "Not the worst being across all eternity. Not me, not him, not even a monster like you."
"You don't begin to comprehend the burden that I bear," First stared down the other man, "For the greater good, I cannot let bad apples like the two of you just be."
"Bullshit! There is nothing in the entire universe that you can't!" Third shouted and approached, "If we are truly such a menace then don't take any chances? Kill us, since we are such a threat!" suddenly a tear appeared on his usually stoic face, "Haven't I already atoned for whatever my sin is? I beg you, grant me the mercy of death. I am just a pathetic shell which doesn't even remember its own name anymore!"
"No," First shook his head after staring for a few moments, "I will not kill my kin. Otherwise, everything would've been for nothing."
"You force those ideals upon us! What use is that greater good to someone like me?!" Third scoffed as he wiped away the tear, "Why do I even bother. You are too blind to see anyway," the emotions in his face slowly turned to complete nihilism as the tattooed man sat down and closed his eyes.
"Perhaps what you are saying is not utterly wrong," First turned back to Galileo after he realised Third would not speak any further, "Then I shall try an alternative,” his hand was removed from Galileo forehead and instead raised it above them. Reality bent around his palm and compressed. The space around them shrank, although that was not visible at first, soon enough Galileo could once again see the stars in the distance. In the meantime, a grey cube manifested above First’s hand.
“I shall build your tomb and bury you,” First spoke, “It is up to you to decide your own conclusion. You have all of eternity to find it,” suddenly Galileo felt a strange but potent pull from that box. Even though he attempted to resist he was overwhelmed in an instant, forced inside of it. The next moment Galileo once again found himself inside starless darkness. In infinite nothingness where even the laws of magic of physics did not reach, making Galileo the last bastion of existing at all. Galileo turned just in time to witness the only exit be sealed. However, he did not despair, at least not for that reason. Perhaps it was for the best. A realm where he would not be disturbed for all eternity. Truly a tomb of his own.
With those thoughts Galileo closed his eyes as he wept once more, until eventually he cried himself to a long desolate slumber.
