For the next few days, it trained up its legs and wings, without evolving or doing anything else. It continued to gain mass with Photosynthesis, of course, but other than that it did nothing else. It kept its Eyes open and continued to work and it slowly regained its health and mana to full. Stamina was another issue as it drained away while using Wings of the Fly and Legs of the Fly, but it did gain some useful experience with both. It could not use Absorb or Digest while it was on the move but would work on that later. For now, it was more focused on getting to a stage where it could choose one of its other evolutions.

It had 3 options to choose from now, so the last week had been worth it. It could pick something better than just Slime. It wanted to be more.

It looked again at the options: Slime would just increase its stats but nothing much else would change. Aerial Mini Slime was great in the sense that it could enjoy a little of what flight had to offer with its Wings of the Fly ability. The blob was enjoying flying immensely. The sensation of the air passing over its slime body made it tingle and it didn’t want to give up that feeling.

Over the last few days combining flying and walking, it had gradually made its way up to the canopy of the forest. It was almost 400m above the ground now, and when it finally crested the top of the trees, it was able to see where it was and get a better feel for what its surroundings were like. Granted, it didn't see much even after training its eyesight. It was still only able to make out about 7m in front of it sharply before the landscape became a black and white blur.

The trees below were a black carpet and the sky above a white blanket. So, not much to see, but compared to no eyesight at all it was great. It did hope that things would get better with time since it enjoyed seeing and wanted to be able to see even more of its environment. After spending a week alive and conscious in the world, it wanted to know more, and it had the curiosity of a newborn in that regard.

It was distracted by the new sights. For it to be able to explore more and understand more of the world around it, it would need to choose either the Mini Aerial Slime or Fly evolutions. It didn’t know what the Tiers meant but assumed that higher was better. It also didn't like the fact that the Fly option would not only restrict some of its abilities but also make it weaker, at least in the short term. Maybe it would be able to choose Fly later since it was a higher tier? The Mini Slime didn't know if that would be a possibility of course, but the options from the previous evolution were available now, even if in a different form…it made some sense. It would have to take the chance if it went down that path….
