The world of Eidrin was a very strange world. The people in this world matured quickly, much faster than Shad's previous world. At fifteen years of age, one was already considered as an adult comparable to that of a twenty-one years old back on Earth.

This might have to do with the fact this world was a world ruled by magic and swords. Since young, they have already possessed great determination, which led to them becoming mature so soon. Regardless of whether they were children from Imperial families, noble families, whether they were children from rich or poor commoners, they were still considered as adults at the age of fifteen and had the right to bear great responsibilities.

Shad's Coming of age ceremony was held within the inner courtyard of the imperial palace. Outside the imperial palace, the road was full of all kind of exquisites carriages. All the men and women were dressed in luxurious clothes and had joyful smiles on their faces.

In front of the Imperial palace's gate, two strong imperial knights were examining the guests' invitation cards before they entered the palace. Soon after, another imperial knight would receive them, and would cordially welcome them and took them where the ceremony was taking place.

Even though the Imperial families had printed their seals on the invitation cards, none of the familiar faces from the imperial family had come out yet, not even to receive the guests. Not only that, even though each individual's invitation card was being inspected before they were allowed to enter, no one felt that they were being treated in a disrespectful manner, nor they were complaining. Instead, Most of them felt quite proud and honored because not anyone could receive this invitation card and not anyone could enter the imperial palace.

This was in accordance with logical reasoning. It would greatly degrade the reputation of the imperial family if any of their members were to personally come over to greet the guests. As such, it would be considered as an inappropriate thing to do.

Soon the guests arrived at the festival hall which was located in the inner courtyard of the imperial palace. It was nicely decorated and huge rows of tables with the finest foods and wines were arranged through the hall. In the middle was an open area for dancing and such. Distributed through the hall were many tables with chairs.

Everything was prearranged for the banquet at this level. how many invites were sent, how many seats were arranged and including the seating arrangements of the guests because of the clear distinction of power and status between the guests.

The core members of the imperial families were arranged to be seated closest to the Emperor's table and his family. Because the Emperor did not have any imperial concubines or other children with other women aside from his wife, their table was not very big. This was a bit of odd, as an emperor, people would expect him to have a huge harem and many children, yet he did not have any of that. Well, this could only show the Emperor's love and devotion for his wife.

Currently, all the guests were already presented. they were happily chatting and laughing with one another.

Suddenly,

"Presenting his Majesty and his Family."

As they heard the booming voice of the servant, all the people gathered in the hall lowered their bodies simultaneously. The movements of their bodies were similar, but the difference in the bows showed each person's status and devotion. While the high ranking nobles and the ancient nobles bowed at a ninety-degree angle. The members of the imperial families, however, slightly bowed their heads while placing their right hands on their hearts.

" Everyone presents, raise your heads."

Right now, a commanding voice, that was filled with nobility, rang from the from the door where the Emperor's table was located. Hearing this voice, everyone from the hall knew who it belonged to. This was indeed the voice of the Emperor. There was this power in his voice which caused the people present to be guided by it and raised their heads unconsciously.

As the people raised their heads, they saw the emperor looking at them. The emperor had black hair and a pitch black eyes that shone mysteriously. His appearance and atmosphere meant one could see at a glance that he had a noble lineage as well as the bearing of an emperor. He gave off such an intangible presence and his body exuded an emperor's aura that anyone would know that he was an emperor or a high ranking noble even if he wore rags. He emitted this grand noble aura as if he was a tyrant up high above. his bearing was completely different from when he was eating in private with his family.

Next to him was the gentle Empress who was as noble and elegant as always. she was a virtuous and wise beauty to many. Behind them were their three sons and their daughter.

Unlike his two brothers, Shad was dressed in white clothes that were white as snow. he looked very handsome with his straight purple-black hair that flowed down from his head, draped over his shoulders before scattering behind him.

Due to the fact he had just broken through the peak of the 4th class mage and did not have time to stabilized his current power, his entire body was emitted out a blazing aura. Within his eyes, a slight electric current would flicker every time he blinked.

Shad immediately felt numerous eyes look towards him. That was not the first time he had seen many high ranking nobles together as he had participated in his older siblings coming of age ceremony. However, it was the first time he was the protagonist of such events.

Some of them stare with respect. That definitely was due to the prestige of the Imperial family. There were those with envy. That comes mostly from the family of the ancient noble etc.

Invariably, there were many young ladies that were looking at his as well. Shad's costume that night was very refined and chic. Along with a handsome face and a shining purple-black hair, it somehow attracted some favorable attention. To the young ladies, Shad's evasive looks made him seemed shy.

" Guests! the ruler of the Djage Empire welcomes you to the festivities! Let us celebrate the coming of age ceremony of the 4th imperial prince. As of today, the 4th prince will help the imperial family bear the burden of the empire and will have a say in some matters." Declared a close servant after the imperial family had seated.

Listened to the servant, Shad only force a smile and waved his hands in a kingly way to the nobles below, and they began to clap.

" Then let the festivity begin." The servant announced as the people started to disperse and the orchestra started to play music.
