《Purple Lightning Emperor》Chapter 80

" You..." The 6th class void mage was shocked and horrified. Why is it like this? It was common knowledge for a mage to use the magic elements only by casting a magic spell as a medium. This was common knowledge, it was a convention. But this convention had been totally overturned now. Not only the 4th imperial prince was able to use the lightning energy, he didn't even draw them from the surrounding area or nature but directly from his body. He was able to clearly see the veins of the 4th imperial prince turned red as the red lightning energy was flowing throughout his body until it made its way to his left palm to form the huge red lightning ball.
He always thought that he had cast a magic spell upon himself before a battle like the others but it seemed like it wasn't the case. The more he looked at this young man that had turned into his real appearance, the more he felt like he was looking at a bottomless pit. This young man was shrouded by a mist of mystery, the longer one look the faster one will lose his sanity. Whether killing more than five hundred bandits along with Chris and his men or the black hole that appeared in the sky which was followed by a rain of lightning arrow and spears, were all things beyond his realm of comprehension. It was as though the word rational, convention or common sense did not exist in his vocabulary.
Marcus wasn't a regular bandit like the rest but the 5th commander of the legendary Red Storm Legion under the 3rd prince of the Nicholas Empire, he only came here to fulfill the order of his highness to cause mayhem in the southern region of the Mulan Kingdom. Killing the 4th prince wasn't part of his order, however, after witnessing the strength of the 4th imperial prince for the past two weeks.

He had vowed to kill him even though it was against the wish of his highness. This young man was too dangerous, not only for his highness but for the whole Egul continent, with enough time, this young man would be strong enough to look down upon the whole continent. At that time, the whole continent would be at the Djage empire's mercy.
Even if is action would offend the Eye, he would sacrifice his life if he meant that his highness won't have to face that monster in the future.
" 4th imperial prince your highness, could it be that you are able to control lightning freely without the use of a magic spell," Marcus questioned with an anticipated look on his ferocious face.
Smiling, Shad replied honestly, " Correct, I am truly able to control lightning without the use of a magic spell as a medium." as he said that, he raises his left hand as red lightning started to coil around it like snakes before they receded back into his body.
" No, that's impossible! just how could you control lightning without using a magic spell as a medium? There has never been a single person who could control lightning freely like that before in the whole continent!" Marcus Cried out. The shocked that he received when Shad admitted of being able to control lightning freely was greater than that of Shad honestly answering his question.
" There has never been anything that cannot be done. There are still many profound mysteries in this world and life, all we know are merely the ones we have stepped into and understood."
Shad had his own reason for answering his question honestly. From all the people that surrounded him, this man was the most dangerous. When Shad first looked at him, this man only gave off the aura of a peak 6th class mage. However, once Shad used the eye of the red lighting dragon emperor, Shad was shocked and could hardly believe what he was seeing.

Surprisingly, he found a shadow lurking behind the 6th class void mage despite being in the middle of the night.
The shadow looked like exactly like a human's shadow. The scariest thing though was that Shad was only able to see that black shadow only with his right crimson eye.
The most surprising thing was the 5th rank warrior that just attacked Shad didn't attack him on his own volition. Shad clearly saw the shadow that was behind the 6th class void mage moved and entered the 5th rank warrior's body.
He struggled for a moment as though he was trying to fight against himself or something else that was taking over his body. After a second or two, the 5th rank warrior's eyes suddenly turned cold and lifeless before he attacked Shad with all his might.
It was one the reason that Shad had used the huge red lightning ball to kill him. He was planning on burning the 5th rank warrior along with the black shadow inside of his body into a crisp, but as soon as the 6th class mage saw the red lightning all, he quickly retracted the black shadow back to his side from the inside of the 5th rank warrior. By that time, it was already too late even if the 5th rank warrior got control of his body as he was turned into nothingness by the red lightning ball.
Shad was very wary of this black shadow. It was very mysterious and dangerous just like his Lightning eye destroyer.
" It seemed like you are more dangerous than I thought." As he said that, the black shadow behind him split into three as they seeped into the bodies of three low-level warriors.
" Whoever kills him will receive the reward of a hundred thousand gold coins from his highness and a title of nobility."
At this instant, everyone didn't hesitate in the slightest to make a move. but they were using offense as a defense before they swiftly retreating. The scene from before caused them to have no choice but to admit that the 4th imperial prince was way stronger than they could ever imagine, in other words, the chance of killing him was very slim even if they ganged up on him.
Even if the leader was offering a lot of money for his head, but they have to be alive to enjoy it otherwise it would all be for nothing.
It was at this moment that they finally understood what the 4th imperial prince had said before. It wasn't that he was boasting shamelessly, but he really possessed sufficient strength to back up these words!
" That's more like it," Shad whispered as he licked his lips as though he was a tiger and those people were nothing but his prey and his meals and pounced towards them within his red lightning scythe.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
