《Diary of Erica Kron》Day 307

Today I worked mostly on refining Astrie, but I did experiment with it a little.
The first thing I noticed is that Astrie has become much easier to use. Which isn’t saying much as it was already pretty easy to use. Refining it isn’t going to make it more powerful or anything like that, well I mean it will but it’s not like I can make use of the vast majority of that power up. After all, the limit was never the Astrie but rather my own ability to endure the side effects. Though I am able to use it without specializing it better, but that has more to do with my newfound knowledge of the plant than its own refinement.
Basically, it isn’t going to become more useful until either I get much more powerful, not happening anytime soon, or it evolves.
One interesting thing I did today was boost my walking ability with Astrie. It wasn’t something I had considered doing before because it didn’t seem all that useful. After a couple tests I decided to crank it up as high as I could safely go, and the results were spectacular.
While standing in the middle of my grove I took a single step and was on the outer edge. I took another step back towards my grove and ended up on the other edge. After some experimentation I figured out that I could control exactly where I moved incredibly well, even moving through obstacles I can’t normally move through, like people. Though I was unable to walk through completely solid objects, like the cliff face. What was even better was that this was as easy as taking a light stroll.
When I gave the armor to some Goblins they had similar results, though they were actually able to go slightly farther than I was. I guess the border of my grove functions as some sort of boundary for me. They could not, however, control where they went quite as well.

With the more refined Astrie I am now able to make simple armors like this in the time it takes me to snap my fingers, I can now essentially teleport anywhere in my grove at will. That is a power I would have obtained as my dungeon core matured, but this way I’m getting it years earlier.
This event made Mest really curious, he said that he had to know what was going on here as something like that shouldn’t be possible with what I was trying to do. He told me he would try to ask around to see if anyone knew.
I am looking forward to hearing his report.

(Small Exploits)
In the beginning, there was darkness... Then Leo found himself on another world. A world with 'magic', dozens of races, and a very lopsided birth ratio. Follow Leo as he uses his knowledge from earth to make a splash on this new world, trying to change it for the better while he stumbles into many (Small Exploits). Additional Tags : [On r/HFY] [Rapid Power Progression] [Casual World Building] (Edit : Because I don't want to get in trouble for excessive sexual content, I'm going to be skipping over "##.5 Chapters" whenever possible. They are not really core to the story, so look else where for those chapters if you're that interested in the "Plot".)

Old fanfic from when I was still a novice writer. It has a lot of imagination, but, unfortunately, it's got that 'fanfic' quality to it.

Land of Erden
Decided to do a rewrite on this. Please do check it out. On my tapas link, I've included some images :D https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/43936/erden-tale-of-a-land-forgotten https://tapas.io/series/Land-of-Erden/info Two sides of a single coin? Or two halves of the same one? Urie Loeth was a boy living in the city of Daerin. Eager to learn magic in order to help his father, he participated in the city's annual Harvest Festival, a gathering conducted to awaken magic in children. His hopes were dashed however when he learnt that he couldn't awaken his magic. Meanwhile, Celeste Varethe was a girl living in the perpetually dark city of Daerin. Awaiting her father's presence on her birthday, she narrowly missed his brief appearance and ran after his silhouette, only to feel confused at being suddenly pushed away. Their unexpected meeting, brought about by fate, set off a series of events that would bring motion to the once stagnant Land of Erden. Note: Volume 01 Ebook (It has illustrations! Whoopie!) (Some of the chapters are uploaded as first drafts.) Giving a comment, like, rating, or a review would be greatly appreciated.Writing a specific story, Land of Erden is my first. Well, writing a story as well as writing in general. I hope you all grow to like it.

The kind of guy that adventurers kill without a thought while on their way to their real adventure. Mischievous but kind, silly and not an actual threat to anyone. At least that was the case before the pirates came. Orcs with sharpened steel arrived on the shores of the goblin swamp. His friends and families were taken. Everything and everybody lost. Now Dizzy has to be more than he ever thought he could be. Now Dizzy must become an adventurer and fight to free his people. But when a murderous minotaur pirate and his crew of orc swashbucklers arrive in the swamp, intent on turning the coastal region into his own pocket kingdom, Dizzy must find a way to escape and rescue his tribe before they are used as expendable sword fodder. With fellow goblins Kitty and YDB at his side, what could possibly go wrong?
