《Diary of Erica Kron》Day 71

My mana production is absolutely crippled. I am only getting what I need to maintain myself from my Grove, and my dungeon core is similarly crippled. Food is nearly my entire source of mana, which sucks considering how little I get from all but the highest quality of food. I mean I guess I have a couple mana berries lying around here, but not many. I’ll use them up tomorrow to fix up a couple trees.
There are a lot of strangers here now, and a lot of people missing. Mest and Thes are dead, and I’m not sure if I could have done something to stop it. Willow has left, she said something about striking out on her own and went off with several of my children. One of Bug’s children, the one that evolved into a Winged Dragonewt Saint, left as well. She snuck out in the middle of the night and no one knows where she went.
The strangers are all either new immigrants or people that are part of Mest’s order. The Haelmer order apparently. They came here to investigate his death and then decided to set up shop here, creating a school or embassy or something. It wasn’t clear what.
The village is a bit bigger, but not beyond what I would have expected.
The mana isolation room I built is gone, just completely gone. No one knows exactly what happened to it, it just disappeared all of a sudden, but people are suspecting teleportation magic was involved.
As for Tiddol, she was ultimately the one that helped me regain my memories. She cried when she saw me, and I cried when I saw her. We just kind of hugged for a while. Eventually, she fell asleep in my arms and I just held her until Par came and took her off my hands.

Par has several more scars on his face and arms than he did before, and likely even more under his clothes. He seems a bit harder than he did before, almost angry.
Kaire and Lulem are just fine. They are doing great actually. Both of them are past the point that I would have expected them to evolve. And I can tell that the world wants them to evolve. It seems like the world can’t create something it doesn’t know, I have to be the one to evolve them.
And one more thing before I go to bed. My Solar Energy room has tons of Solar Energy in it now, but I can’t stay in there for very long because it makes me feel like I’m suffocating and starving to death once my mana pool runs out. I’ll have to fix my Grove first.
Anyway, Good Night Diary.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.
