《Diary of Erica Kron》Day 346

Askos and Junior are getting much better at healing in a high-stress environment. At first, Junior would freeze up a bit when things started to go wrong, but she managed to quickly get over that and is now constantly darting around the battlefield on her white wings healing the most valuable wounded soldiers, though according to the people running the armies her idea of most valuable could use some work.
Askos is doing the opposite, caring less about keeping the most valuable soldiers in peak condition and more about keeping as many soldiers in fighting condition as possible, spreading out his healing quite a bit. According to the generals, his approach has much more potential to have a larger impact on the fight as a whole, though they doubt that anyone healer short of my own abilities is capable of making enough of a difference to overcome this exercise. Sure it is a challenging task, more so than anything I’ve had them do before, but most people also think that the speed at which they are improving is impossible for anyone who wasn’t powerful, to begin with. I think they will eventually pull it off.
By the end of the day, I had a working prototype of my current project. It is actually a really complicated device, it was surprisingly hard to figure out how to thoughts into words and even now you have to think the words very deliberately in order for it to appear on the page, which takes time and is mentally draining. Plus there is a delay of almost a full second before the words actually appear on the page. Also, currently you have to be part of my hivemind in order to actually make use of it, though I’m sure a telepath or plant manipulator of any sort could do it just as well with some practice. There is also the minor issue of it being a pain to move the device along the page while it works, but that should be the easiest part of it to fix.

Overall pretty good for a day’s worth of work, dealing with thoughts and minds is always really complicated so figuring things out this quickly is definitely a good thing. It is still going to take a lot of refining and improving before I get everything exactly how I want it, probably more than most of my recent projects.
Other than that I spent my downtime hanging out with Azrezel. He’s been spending most of his time evolving his undead through the brute force method I used before figuring out how to trigger an evolution manually. He understands flesh manipulation enough to reliably and quickly trigger an evolution in some of his weaker undead, and observing and taking part in the evolution process makes for an amazing learning opportunity when it comes to shaping flesh and molding bone.
At this point, he is probably better at manipulating flesh than me, which would be no surprise as he is definitely talented at it. His control isn’t really on my level quite yet, my hivemind is significantly bigger than his, but his creativity with the subject is much greater. He’s coming up with ideas and techniques that I had never even considered, a little bit of mana control can be trained a lot easier than that. I could probably pull off something similar with Fate, but that would be temporary and I wouldn’t be able to do so regularly.
Anyway, Good Night Diary.

Bonespore
Harux Y'saanith is not your average elf. He is wild, untamed, and likes a good old cut of meat over a plate of vegetables. But what he does have in common is his love of fighting and magic. So when he gets the perfect opportunity to join an academy full of strong fighters, he couldn't resist. Journeying with an eccentric tech billionaire, a boy who's way too theatrical for his own good, a proud knightess and many others, Harux wonders if he'd finally found strong opponents, or even people he can call his friends. Bonespore is a shonen-inspired story set in an academy where students train and fight. There is also a blend of magic and SciFi as it is set in a post-modern world of sorts. If you like something that is a blend of both magical slice of life, and tense moments with battle, horror and other events, then it'll be to your liking. (This will be crossposted onto Scribblehub)

Party Leveling
{A new notification has arrived.} In front of a few people, these hologram-looking messages appeared and changed their lives in entirely different forms. Things such as growing stronger, becoming smarter, feeling more agile, became possible within short periods of time from that point onwards. The one who regretted his weak healing abilities for years began to chase after the magic powers that could turn reason and sense upside down while keeping his goal, this duty to the wrongs he committed. The other one, who complained about his lack of strength, strove towards the path of an unbeatable champion to protect those he held dear. When the person who had everything found a path to desire for more, not fearing the consequences and the obstacles, he also began to walk onwards to a new life. And among them, the one who walked aimlessly but also never stepped down on the choices he made along the way, was the one who couldn’t be ignored nor disrespected by anyone. The “Player” system that they all obtained, and which granted them several abilities, knowledge and directions, was also the beginning of an entire new era in this world where monsters, magic and technology, were already common and wide-spread. There’s not a single hero, but after committing mistakes after mistakes, learning from the painful and thorny path that they take, and growing as people with the people that surround them, then someday... there will certainly be saviors. [Quick reminder that this novel is also being published in Webnovel(dot)com and ScribbleHub(dot)com]

Cheaters Always Win
Chester Everheart knew that life wasn't fair. Some were born in situations where it was almost impossible to succeed, whereas others were born with a silver spoon with everything at their disposal. A scant few were dropped into another world, filled with monsters and magic and forced to fend for themselves. The latter was a rare, somewhat ridiculous trope; but it happened to him anyway. Despite this he followed a motto that applied regardless of the dimension he was in. Playing fair is for suckers, and cheaters always win. Cheaters Always Win is a comedy-adventure that I've had churning in my head for a couple years now. I'd like to think it still has the charm that most LitRPGs have while also being unique in its own way. Every arc of the story will subsequently have a 'Level Complete' chapter that details all the stats, levels, equipment, etc. gained by the main cast of characters.
