《Greenskin》Chapter 3 - Watchful Eyes

Steal lent over his battered foe. Pink chunks of brain spilt out from a brutal-looking hole in his head; thick blood gushed from his brutalised skull, matting in the young looking man's scraggly auburn hair. The now empowered goblin's throat rumbled as he hawked up a tremendous quantity of phlegm and snot, spitting it into the fresh corpse's pale face. Blud grimaced a little at his action but did the same anyways.
Disrespecting their first kill might seem rather unceremonious, but they were killing their kin without any reason that the two goblins could understand. Blud slung his recently acquired, now even bloodier sword over his shoulder. it was a little lighter in his hand and felt better to carry. Only a little mind you.
Steal came upon the rather simple idea that he should probably steal the dead mage's weapon; so he crouched down to get the object that the mage had let fall when he took his last breaths. As the monster's gnarled-looking hands latched around the wooden staff, he felt a slight breeze send a chill through his body, it was gentle, but still cold. The icy chill faded after a moment and the goblin continued to grip the staff, it was so large that Steal had to hold it in both hands for it to even be remotely wieldy. As the short goblin held the staff firmly in its hand, another window blasted into his mind.

Yet again, Steal didn't quite understand what the words themselves meant, but even without being able to read, he seemed to instinctively understand the gist of it. The goblin kicked the corpse and followed after Blud, who had already begun moving on, although a goblin-like Steal couldn't understand written language, the goblins' had a spoken language, it was primitive but functional. Steal took this chance to finally speak up, earlier he'd simply let Blud talk and boss him around. "Blud, where are we going, who are these enemies?" the younger goblin's query was quickly answered.

"Adventurers. Kill for fun and power. Bad people. They try kill us. We kill them. We go to them, we kill. These ones are weak." Steal paused for a moment as the gruff goblin responded to him, he didn't see a reason that they should actively go hunting for the sort of people that gleefully tried to butcher him.
As if Blud could already guess what Steal was thinking, he glanced back to Steal, ensuring he was keeping low and sticking to the shadows before speaking to him again, to anyone else, this exchange would likely sound like the spastic jabbering of a human infant, if the infant had rows of sharp yellow teeth lining a disproportionality large mouth and a voice that was almost identical to someone scratching a steel plate with a billion tiny knives. "Your name, tell me. They come from the way out and in, we go out, get away. Means we have to go past them, we see them, we make them dead."
"Steal" The small goblin hefted his wooden staff and nodded in response. Blud's plan seemed reasonable. The issue was, that if Steal was wiser than he truly was, he would have realised that they only managed to kill an adventurer because he was surprised and exhausted of mana in the first place.
Another minor issue was that their exchange was being observed. And although the human rogue known as Richard Stroker couldn't understand the creatures' neanderthalic tongue, he did understand that they were easy prey for even the most incompetent of adventurers.
Steal wasn't aware of the rogue's watchful eyes, but kept talking nonetheless, the small goblin had taken note of another one of Blud's suggestions. 'Status' Another blue window popped into the creature's mind the second it finished uttering those words; though the rogue heard it as "Gyak!".
