《How to get lost: a wanderers guide》Shenanigans

Hello again. Today has been very fun!
I stood watch for a while, but after what seemed like an eternity of boring nothing doing I decided to just block the way with tinglewood and get some shut eye.
Since I was the last one asleep I was also the last one awake. I thought Onica would be upset with me for shirking my watch duties, but she seems surprisingly chipper and cheery today.
Lena, Julius, and Fen are all much more cheerful today than they were yesterday. They can't seem to stop giggling. Well good! A morose atmosphere doesn't fit our style anyway!
After a quick bite to eat I cleared the barricades and we went marching happily down the tunnel to the left of where we came in from. At the end of this tunnel was a massive cave with soaring waterfalls gracefully falling into massive pools and feeding small rivers and lakes throughout the immense space. Light filtered in alongside the water falls, and the combination of light and water vapor created a beau-
*****
Hiya Book! Lena here!
I asked Julus to crank up the fire and burn the food big bro was making. While he is distracted with saving dinner Lena will be making her entry today! We found a big cave, a big bug, and a big bush.
The big cave was pretty, and the water there was delicious and full of cool slimy critters! Big sis Onica showed me this one slimy fish that if you squeeze it then if leaks this milk looking stuff. If you mix that with some water it turns into a lot of super sticky glue! I stored a big bottle of it for fun later.
Oh! Speaking of fun! When we woke up this morning big bro was sleeping when he should have been protecting us. Onica wanted to beat him up, but I had a better idea! I snuck out his magic pen from his magic bag. So much stuff in there! Then I drew a huge twirly ended mustache on his face. When that didn't wake him up I drew eyes on his eyelids and a flower on his chin. They are all in a glowing blue, and he looks ridiculous! Somehow, he still hasn't noticed them.

We all couldn't help but laugh every time we looked at him. Onica seemed more than happy with this punishment.
The big bug was big. It looked like a normal beetle, only huge! It had a thick blue shell that looked super shiny but was really hard! Fen flipped it with a gust of wnd and we left it alone and wiggling its little legs in the air. There was a box in the room with the big beetle, and inside was a pure white flute decorated with swirls and blue painted flowers.
I called dibs so now the pretty flute is mine. I practiced playing it and it is really hard, but if I really focus when I am trying to play it then mist comes out of the end of it. I wonder why it does that? It looks hollow when you look inside it so where does the mist come from? I wonder if it will make more if I run my ripples through it while playing. I will have to try later.
For now I need to write fast before big bro comes back. He is super protective of Mr. Book. The only reason I got to write in it before was because he literally couldn't, and also because I used the super duper sad eyes on him. I need to ration out the super duper sad eyes though. If I use it to much people get used to it.
Ah, he just finished fixing dinner, now its time for phase two! Big sis challenged big bro to a knife throwing contest. He is way too competitive for his own good. We all agreed to take turns writing in Mr. Book and distracting big bro. I won the first turn. Fen needs someone to write for him and Julius can make hands out of fire.
I wonder when he learned to write?
So after we found the flute and explored the big cave we went down the other tunnel and there we found-
*****
Little minx!
*Sigh* I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Lena has been eyeing the Journal for a while now. I just can't believe the others are in on it. I shall fight them off as best I can! If they want to write in my Journal then they will have to earn that right!

The right to write. Punny. Must try on Onica.
Now then, where were we?
Big cave, yada yada ya, beetle, blah blah blah, conspiracy against me. Right, the big bush as Lena called it. As we headed down the last hallway, with Lena tooting and squeaking on her new toy, it started to get colder. The further we went the colder it got. First our breathe became visible, then our hands, feet, and ears turned red. Well, except for Fen of course. He doesnt breathe, nor does he have ears.
The cold air sapped our body heat, and Julius and I had to make a big fire to keep us moving. Onica hates the cold. She came from a place where it is warm in the winter and hot in the summer. No idea what a winter or a summer are, but Lena seemed to know so I just nodded understandingly and tured up the heat. The cold cut at us like invisible knives in the hands of sadistic ghosts. Even with the fire any exposed skin became red and numb. Breathing became painful, and our muscles stiffened. We walked in wooden shambling lockstep. Sticking close to each other for warmth.
Finally we reached the end. A frost encrusted door. I was about to smash the door down with a kickass flying fire kick when Lena simply moved the ice out of the way. Super disappointing. Inside was a weirdly familiar room. Murals decorated the walls. Showing battles and celestial beings. In the middle of the room, under a beam of light from a hole in the high ceiling sat a frosty bush. Hundreds of ripe purplish blue berries festooned its bowing brambly branches. Behind it sat a stone tomb with a statue lying down on top of it.
Yes, this was similar indeed to the wing tomb for the fallen lands! There were only a few key differences.
The tomb was made of metal, not stone. Images of hammers and mountains covered its sides and the short but broad statue atop it showed a scarred and burly warrior. With a hearty smile carved on his bearded face and a mug of frothy wonder in his hand. At the base of the metal tomb sat a simple scarred hammer and anvil. Rusted and pitted with aged, these tools seemed to echo still with the sound of industry from a time long past.
The murals too had a single small change. The beings above it all. They were not the golden horned horse, and the eight-legged cat with a ravens head and wings. They were a golden mountain, surrounded by dancing swords that were never in the same position in the different murals, and a black hammer, crude and rough looking but with an unparalled aura of devastation and might about it. Seeming to be about to sunder the world itself. Even just as a picture on a mural. The mountain on the other hand gave off a sense of gravity, and even the small picture of it made me feel tiny and insignificant.
I wonder why they changed when every other detail stayed the same?
I suppose we will never know.
The berries from the bush are unpalatable to all of us but Lena. She danced between the cruel thorns and brambles on its limbs, and gobbled them down messily until she was more blue juice than girl. The juice seems to be slowly seeping into her. Like rainwater into the earth after a storm.
To me the berries taste like raw fish coated in ash and dumped into the garbage for a week. Seeing her gobble them with such delight nearly made me vomit.
Now we are camped at the shores of one of the lakes in the big cave and eating some slightly burnt fish. Seriously. Why did they have to target dinner?!
I will turtle up in some tinglewood tonight, and try to get this blasted glowing stuff off of my face.
I look ridiculous!
Goodnight.

The Genre of My Life Was Randomized?
The wheel spun and the genre changed. In every chapter, a new canvas made up of a thousand words was formed. I, the creator, do not know the future of this novel. I, the author, is but a mere slave that writes and creates what the wheel has given. What would happen after? What fate awaits the main character? When would you encounter the next chapter? Besides the latter, only the wheel could answer. Author's Note:Salutations dear reader. I'd like to dissuade you from reading this novel due to the following facts: 1. I am an amateur/new/beginner writer so it could be said that I don't know what I'm doing. 2. This novel is something which I wrote in order to hone my skills in adaptability, creativity, and writing in of itself. 3. Every chapter was made after spinning a wheel with the genres: Action, Horror, Romance, Comedy, Fantasy (as of writing) twice. The genres then would be showed in the chapter through theme, part of the story, flow, character, or whatever man idk. In case the wheel would show the same genre twice, the chapter itself would have the result as the main theme of the story with the other genres being free to use in order to fully show the theme. 4. I'm basically yoloing the story, trying to make sense of it even with the randomness of the current and future chapters; I swear I'm not a masochi.. *ahem* moving on, a variable left by the previous chapter won't suddenly just disappear because the next chapter doesn't have the same genre as before, meaning if a character that fits a genre was shown on let's say "Chapter 1", said character wouldn't just disappear or cease to exist for no reason at "Chapter 2" or the following chapters just because the character doesn't fit the genres. To make it short this isn't a collection of short stories but one big story instead. 5. Etc.

Bound by Fate
A young orphan who defied his fate and fought his way to success and love, dies at the threshold of his happily everafter. Only to be offered a new life in a new world. He starts with everything he lacked in his past life but must still fight to keep it all. In a world where power is everything, where gods are real and scheming, devils and demons abound, where magic is just another branch of science and talking animals a pain to deal with, he is bound by his fate to defy fate. ---- Author's Note ---- Its the first time I am letting a story escape my head. I aim to intially release one chapter a week as I build my confidence and the story. When I get to a point where I am able to churn out a chapter regularly on the same day and time per week, then I will aim to eventually get to 2 chapters a week and then to 1 every other day. I hope I can learn to tell my stories well and put something up that's enjoyable.
