Third Person's POV:

Yakumo and Dexter were now standing inside Dexter's main house.

“So you think you can revive the dead?”, asked Yakumo.

°Okay, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to follow him°, admitted Idou.

°Yeah, and you noticed that how?°, replied Yakumo sarcastically.

“Yes I do, but I need some part of their body for that to happen. A single hair would be enough. Luckily I already have one from her old home”, said Dexter as if it wasn't something unbelievable to do.

Dexter knew some reviving spells from his previous live. He found them during his dimensional travels. Some of them require heavy sacrifices, others only mana.

But the only skills he knows that could revive the dead were the Ying/Yang release and the Edo Tensei in combination with Gedo Rinne Tensei. The Ying/Yang release creates matter and even souls. But it wouldn't work with Kushina, as he doesn't know enough about her to recreate her soul or body. The Edo Tensei forces the soul into a body and the Gedo Rinne Tensei creates the flesh of said body. It's way easier and doesn't need any knowledge about the dead person, so Dexter will use the second way.

Dexter summoned a Blood Clone and then used Edo Tensei on it. The dying screames made Yakumo pale and she backed away.

“What the hell?”, she asked sickened from the sound.

“The Edo Tensei is a forbidden Jutsu. It sacrifices a living body to bring back a dead person. Said person isn't really alive, more like a puppet. An undying and untiring puppet. The perfect skill for mass destruction. But it's also a great foundation for my next Jutsu”, explained Dexter.

The Clone was surrounded by paper snippets and Kushina's body was slowly formed. She wore her Jonin clothes, on her back was a scabbard but it was empty.

“Interesting, it seems like the body gets formed in a battle state, just without the weapons. Does that mean that Kabuto managed to acquire six of the seven Swords of the Mist?”, thought Dexter out loud and then put the sealing tag in Kushina's head.

She blinked twice and then focused on Dexter.

“Where am I? Where is my son Naruto?”, she then asked.

“Hi mom, I kinda grew up a lot”, said Dexter jokingly and rubbed the back of his head, he then stopped as he noticed that he was doing it again and forcefully put his arm down.

“Naruto? How long did you wait to revive me?”, asked Kushina shocked. The last memory she has of him was when he looked like a 8 or 9 year old boy. And now he looks to be in his early twenties and with fox appendages?

“What happened?”, she asked a little forceful.

“Not much, Kurama is now able to access my body. She changed it a little. This had to be done early, it wouldn't have been possible once puberty hits. I got these fine tails, enhanced senses, enhanced strength, larger Chakra coils, a longer lifespan and now have a new pair of eyes”, explained Dexter.

“And here I hoped to watch you growing up”, mourned Kushina.

“I would have to go back to Konoha for my plans anyway and you can't be allowed to be seen there. Not now”, said Dexter apologetically.

“Anyway, let's proceed”, he then said and made the necessary hand signs.

“Gedo Rinne Tensei!”, he then shouted and Kushina's skin became less cracked and the black of her eyes changed back into white.

Yakumo watched all this with a gaping mouth. She knew that a lot of things are possible with Chakra, but reviving the dead? No way.

“How do you feel?”, asked Dexter when he was done. This Jutsu uses a lot of Chakra. No way is Nagato able to do that. The Anime must've done it for plot sake.

“Fine I guess”, answered Kushina while inspecting herself.

“Good, let's visit Tsunade. I have something that I want to ask of you”, Dexter said in relieve that it worked. He then hid his fox features under a Henge and then grabbed both of them, before using the Hiraishin to get to Tsunade.

They flashed next to a slightly drunk and gambling Tsunade. She was, like always, loosing baldy and Shizune was trying, with no success, to keep her away from loosing too much money.

“Oy Gaki!”, shouted Tsunade who almost got an heart attack from his sudden appearance.

“Hi Baa-chan. Meet your grand niece”, said Dexter while waving her off. Tsunade did as he said and looked at the other two, before her eyes widened into dinner plates. Her lower lip then began to tremble, before she slowly reached out to touch Kushina.

“Is...is this really you?”, she asked, fearful the answer might not be an OK.

“Yes, Naruto brought me back”, answered Kushina with a smile and they both hugged each other.

The other gamblers looked lost but then started to continue with their game. They noticed that Tsunade won't continue.

“Let's go to the hotel”, suggested an equally shocked Shizune and they all agreed.

“Tell me Gaki, are you able to...to...”, began Tsunade once they were in their room.

“I could revive them, if you have some of their DNA. But do you really want that? They both have the wish to protect Konoha and we will hurt them pretty badly if we went through with my plan. They are also already dead for a long time and the world changed. So do you?”, answered Dexter, who knew what she wanted.

“I... I don't know. I do wish to see them again, but I don't know if they want to help us with what we want to do. Their mindset wouldn't allow any harm to Konoha..., would you do it if I ask you?”.

“Yes, I also plan to revive the Uzumaki Clan”, stated Dexter who then found himself in a bone crushing hug from his mother.

“Thank you Naruto”, she shouted.

“Would you please call me Dexter? I don't want to be named fishkage”, replied Dexter.

“But it also means malestorm”, argued Kushina back.

“I know, but I still like Dexter more”, said Dexter after managing to get free from her hug.

“Fine”, mumbled Kushina with a pout.

“Anyway Gaki, are you only here to let us see Kushina or do you have something else?”, asked Tsunade from the side. She had a fond smile on her lips. But was also thinking about the possibility of regaining her younger brother and dead lover.

“Actually yes I do. This here is Yakumo. She was once a citizen of Konoha and got betrayed by Kurenai. She is a member of the Kurama clan and has Idou inside her. They are friends, as far as I know and she needs to be trained in Genjutsu. You are skilled in this field, so can you help her? She should also be fairly good with medical Jutsu, as both fields need fine Chakra control”, admitted Dexter.

“Sure, anything else?”, said Tsunade nonchalantly and Yakumo was shocked. She will be trained by one of the Sannin?

°I take it back, it was right to follow him°, said an equally shocked Idou.

“Other than that I also want you four to search for possible citizen in the new Uzushiogakure. I'll have to go back to Konoha for the next stage of my plan and will only have enough time to revive the dead Uzumaki”, continued Dexter and Tsunade nodded in approval.

“Alright. Anyone specific?”, she asked.

“Normal civilians. And maybe some wandering bloodline clans that are either fleeing from the purge in Kiri or don't have a home to begin with. While I do plan to help the rebels, I also want to gain something out of war before that. Make it clear that they have to pledge their alliance to Uzu and not to Kiri, even if the rebels manage to win the war. Which they will. Help them to settle down in Uzu, the buildings are already there and the fields are cultivated. It should be fairly easy to live autonomous. We also have to start a Ninja academy. Please include your medical program in that”, listed Dexter.

“Gathering people won't be a problem, but Shizune and I have to train the medical staff before we can start with the academy. This will take time. I don't think we will be able to begin with the academy early than 5 years”, replied Tsunade.

“That's okay, It's better to be save than sorry. I also have some Chakra manipulation scrolls for the students, they might even help you. I don't want to have my Genin as weak as Konoha's. There won't be any fangirlism or favouritism”.

“My clan will be able to help with seals and Kenjutsu. We were also known for our water Jutsu”, chimed Kushina in.

“That would help. It's one of the reasons why I'm going to revive them. We need teacher and personal and they know how to run an independent village. Their only downfall was too much trust. It's never good to trust your alliance too much. It's just that, an alliance”, nodded Dexter in agreement.

“So then let's go. I'll have to revive some Uzumaki and it will take some month to revive all of them. There were many dead”, finished Dexter and they all Hiraishined to Uzushiogakure.

“Who are you going to revive first?”, asked an eager Kushina.

“I know of only one person, the rest is nameless. Her name is Mira, I think you know her?2, replied Dexter with a grin.

“You're going to revive Kaa-san?”, she asked with joy. Dexter simply nodded and began the procedure.

The Blood Clone died a horrible death and Dexter was glad that he wouldn't get its knowledge with a forceful Jutsu release.

A woman that strongly resembled Kushina now stood in front of them. Her hair was a slightly darker red than that of Kushina's but otherwise they looked almost the same. Well Mira looked older.

Dexter placed the seal in her head and she blinked twice before she frowned deeply.

“What is this? First they betray us and now they defile our dead body with the cursed Jutsu of the Second Hokage?”, she asked in rage.

“No mother”, said a sobbing Kushina and Mira turned around to look directly at Kushina.

“Kushi-chan? You are all grown up, how long was I dead and why did you bring me back?”, asked Mira.

“I'm also only alive for less than a day. You are dead for over thirty years now. My son Dexter used Edo Tensei on a Blood Clone to revive you”, explained Kushina.

“So you are my grandchild? What's with the Uzumaki Henge?”, asked Mira after looking at Dexter.

“Yes, my name is Dexter Uzumaki. How did you notice that I'm under a Henge? Not even the Sharingan or Byakugan could detect it”, asked Dexter.

“You are using a Uzumaki Henge, the highest Henge that is in existence. Only Uzumaki can use it normally. The Chakra flow is slightly bundled near your head and waist. It has the same signature as our Henge. Don't worry, only a really good Sensor will be able to notice the Henge”, she explained and released the Henge. Mira's eyes widened a bit but she staid silent.

“Or if someone under a Henge and Genjutsu combination touches you, like I did”, added Tsunade and Mira nodded.

“So tell my, what do you want?”, asked Mira again.

“I want to resurrect the Uzumaki clan. I also want to rebuild Uzushiogakure. The buildings are already there, I only need the people. And who would be better than the Uzumaki? You are the only one I knew of that has some influence. The rest were nameless skeletons. Do you want to help me rebuild Uzushiogakure?”, said Dexter.

“What's the catch? Reviving someone isn't a simple Jutsu, heck it shouldn't be possible for anyone besides the Sage of the Six Path”, said Mira doubtfully.

“That is true, I need a Blood Clone as a sacrifice. This way I can sidestep the normal sacrifice of a human for the Edo Tensei. The next step is using the Gedo Rinne Tensei. A Jutsu only accessible for Rinnegan user, which I am”, Dexter said and activated his Rinne-Sharingan.

“You have one strange child there Kushi-chan. How did you get the Rinne-Sharingan? It shouldn't be possible to get one”, she asked and Kushina smiled proudly. Even if it wasn't clear that she praised Dexter.

“Minato must've had some Uchiha blood, while Kushina gave some Senju blood. The child of such parents can achieve the Rinnegan, after he went through the normal maturing phases of the Sharingan. I'm not entirely sure how I got the Rinne-Sharingan, might be because I'm the Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi”, explained Naruto. Mira raised an eyebrow when Dexter mentioned his status as a Jinchuriki.

“So you made your own son into a Jinchuriki?”, asked Mira angrily.

“Not by choice, someone with the Sharingan attacked me during the delivery of Dexter-kun. He extracted the Kyuubi out of the weakened seal and used it to attack Konoha. Minato, my husbandm then used the Reaper Death Seal to seal the Kyuubi in Dexter. The Kyuubi tried to kill our son during the sealing and we jumped in front of the attack. The seal worked, but we both died during the process”, said Kushina in a sad tone.

“So you helped this scum from Konoha?”, spat Mira.

“I didn't know what they have done. I only learned recently that they plotted all this. They manipulated me and even staged my love live. I want to see the village burn”, replied Kushina rapidly. She didn't want her mother to think badly of her.

“Good, they will all die for what they did. I had to watch how they burned and raped children”, said Mira with burning hate. Killing intent and a massive Chakra wave streamed out of Mira.

Her Chakra release was Kage level and Yakumo, Shizune and TonTon were sweating from the pressure. Yakumo even fell down on one knee.

Mira noticed that and calmed down, but the hate was still visible in her eyes.

“Isn't it a bit much for all of them to die?”, asked a frightened Shizune.

“Tell that the burned children who tried to hide in the academy. They blocked the exits with earth Jutsu and then set the building on fire”, replied Mira with a glare and Shizune wisely choose to shut up.

“While I agree that Konoha isn't what it once was, I still disagree with the need to kill all of them.

We should not get down on their level”, added Tsunade and got herself a glare from Mira, however Tsunade had backbone and withstood the glare.

“Where were you when we were in need? You are an Uzumaki like you are a Senju”, asked Mira as she recognised Tsunade.

“I asked Sarutobi to send aid, but he said that it wasn't possible and then send me on a mission near Suna. I tried to speak with a few more times but he always changed the topic, now I know why. The only one here who hasn't something against Konoha is Shizune”, defended Tsunade herself and Shizune quivered as the gaze of Mira went back on her.

“I'll help Lady Tsunade”, she quickly said.

“So Dexter, what is your plan?”, Mira then said after a pause.

“I plan to revive you and then any other Uzumaki who wants to get back. You will then live here in Uzushiogakure until I finished some minor business in Konoha. It shouldn't take more than 4 or 4 and a half years.

During these four years I want you to re-establish Uzushiogakure as a hidden village.

Kumo and possibly Kiri will be under an alliance once my part in Konoha is finished. Two years later we will also add Suna into this alliance”, began Dexter to explain but Mira raised a hand to stop him.

“You really want us to get into an alliance with Kumo and Kiri? Two of the villages who attacked us?”, she asked not believing his words.

“Alliance doesn't mean that I'm going to trust them. The alliance contract with Kumo states that we will give them some barrier seals and detection seals. But no one said that we couldn't put back doors inside them.

Fuinjutsu is almost extinct and there are no real masters anymore. Well no one except me, my mother and a little bit Jiraiya. The revived Uzumaki will be even further ahead of the rest than before.

I only plan to hold the alliance until we are established, it might not even be needed. I didn't plan to resurrect the Uzumaki at first. I think we don't need the alliance with them.

But Kiri wasn't really responsible for it's acts. The Mizukage at that time was Madara and even the current Mizukage is under a Genjutsu of Madara's pupil. The new Mizukage, Mai is her name, might even be related to the Uzumaki. She does have red hair and a hot temper”, reassured Dexter.

“”Who says we have a hot temper?! “”, shouted Mira, Kushina and Tsunade at the same time. It was deadly silent after that, until Yakumo began to laugh loudly, the rest soon followed.

“...okay Dexter-kun, I agree. Revive me and I will persuade the rest. Am I right with the assumption that you are going to be the sixth Uzukage?”, said Mira after they all regained their breath.

“Yes, while it might be true that your husband was once the Uzukage, I still want to be the next one and I'm the driving factor in Uzu's rebuild”, said Dexter.

“Fine with me, still, Daichi will probably request to be one of your advisers”, said Mira with a shrug.

“That's good, I will need help. While it's not new for me to do office work, I', still not too knowledgable in handling Ninja and their missions.

“Then let's start with your revival. But I have to warn you first, I'm only able to revive two to four people a day. The Blood Clone, Edo Tensei and Gedo Rinne Tensei all require enormous amounts of Chakra”, warned Dexter.

“Don't put degrade your skill. Your reserves are monstrous. Even for an Uzumaki”, said Mira with a wave of her hand and Dexter began the Gedo Rinne Tensei.

Time Skip, A few months;

Dexter steadily revived the dead Uzumaki who wanted a second chance in life. Not everyone wanted to be revived, but most did. They quickly settled down and the village began to breath. But that wasn't all what they did. Tsunade, Yakumo and Shizune managed to convince a few wandering clans to settle down in Uzushiogakure and a couple of civilian families were also now living in the village.

Daichi quickly took place as Dexter's advisor and they started to manage the village.

And Dexter choose to not hide his fox features. The villagers were at first a little taken back by his looks, but quickly settled down and accepted him. They also were thanking him, whenever they get the chance.

They did their best to keep the whole thing under wrap and they succeeded. The only thing the outer world knows is that more and more wandering clans simply vanished. This was all thanks to the Hiraishin.

And now it was time for Dexter to return to Konoha, where he will begin the second part of his plan. His live as a Genin and his goal during the Chunin exams.

Oh and I have read that a lot of you want me to save the Uchiha or even breed Rinnegan children.

Both won't happen. Only one more person from the Uchiha massacrer will survive and there won't be something like a breeding factory for the Rinnegan.

And no, Sasuke or Itachi won't be an ally of Dexter. This story will have a major Sasuke bashing and I will diverse from the original story more and more. Only a few things will stay the same, like the name of people, some of their personality and the goal of them.

But not everything will change or will stay. This Naruto world isn't the one you know from the Anime and you shouldn't believe that I will keep things as they were. It's more fun to think about possible changes. This makes, to begin with, the true reason for my fascination in fan fictions. To imagine the possible changes the author made with the story.
