《Dex's Adventure Through The Elemental Nations (Completed)》Chapter 80

Dexter's POV;
News of Iwa's destruction hit the world like a bomb. It took the surrounding minor villages only a week to organise some form or army and invade, the now mostly unprotected, Iwa.
Sure, Iwa was not truly without any protections. There were still the fortresses and military camps all over the country. But the village of Iwagakure was gone and with it the people. They stood no chance against six enemy villages. Only Rain did not attack.
There was a largely sized army in the Land of Iron. However, they were far away, hit with the news that their family was probably dead and lacking their military leader.
It was unknown what their general will do now, probably bunkering down. And then there was the survival of Oonoki. He's probably not yet able to do anything again but might recuperate. Then again, he is old and could have died. Time will tell.
Two weeks after the destruction of Iwa new news came. Oonoki was dead, he did not survive the wound he sustained during the fight and the new Tsuchikage was his son. They have reached the army in the Land of Iron and were staying there for the time being.
For now, the world was in chaos. Konoha secured the land they have taken and started to rebuild the damage done by Itachi. A lot of their troops were recalled. Suna went into lock down, with them being near to Iwa.
Kumo has launched another fleet, this time to attack the Land of Iron. Probably to take Iwa completely out of the game. That or to give them the opportunity to subordinate themselves to Kumo.
Mei asked me if I knew anything about the attack, which I declined. She wasn't too worried. Kiri is on the other side of the world and a sea is dividing them from the mainland.
With the news of Iwa's destruction also came information about the golem army. They were spotted near Iwa and began an assault immediately. Their strength and weaknesses were quickly known.
Mainly their regeneration ability, their sensor ability and their speed.
But also their weakness to high temperature and even rumours of a core that would stop the regeneration, if destroyed.
This rumour was true, there is a core. A small, walnut sized one in their stomach. You only have to pulverise this core and the golem won't be able to regain its mana. I integrated it so that they won't be invincible. Building and using them was something like playing Empire Earth to me.

Now, three weeks later Kura-chan and I each have left a clone in Uzu and we're preparing our next attack. After some thoughts, we decided that it wouldn't be logical if the attacker only went for the big five villages. Not after seeing how the smaller ones acted like hyenas.
So we dropped a few of the golems over each village and watched how they started their rampage. We did not use enough to kill everyone, but certainly enough to severely weaken the village.
We then waited for another week and dropped another army over Suna. However, we gave Gaara too little credit. The guy simply pulled the golems under the sand and crushed them. He was done with the army in only an hour and the destruction was by far too little. So I placed a group of a few hundred water mage golems on the walls of Suna.
They attacked Gaara immediately and drowned him and most of Suna in a flood. The fact that sand does not absorb water did not help them. There were survivors, but most died by getting crushed in the flood.
With that done our next stop, this time only a day later, was Konoha. There we dropped more than twice the amount of golems we used for Iwa. The village was destroyed at the end, and so were our golems. Not everyone was dead, but the task was done and Konoha was gone.
Kakashi sent many into his dimension and died of Chakra loss. The bugs of the Aburame clan did nothing, as well as the mind transfer of the Yamanaka or the shadow possession of the Nara.
The Akimichi were a too large target for the guns of my golems and the Inuzuka were lacking in sheer power.
The clan-less Ninja did most of the damage, as did Guy.
Guy opened all eight gates at the end. He was impressive. He also used his cursed seal and the destruction he left in his rampage showed how strong he truly was. Lee, who managed to open six of the gates, did also a lot of damage. The village walls and large parts of the surrounding forest were destroyed in Guy's wake.
Kura-chan and I were, in fact, so impressed that we sealed their almost dead bodies away and took them with us. However, we were stopped before we could leave.
Our approach and sealing of Guy were seen by Sasuke and Danzo, who both were more than a little hurt by the fight. There were also some ANBU behind them.

“So these things sent by you”, stated Danzo. His arm was unsealed and he only had a single eye left before he would lose the eye in his head.
Sasuke had lost one of his wings in his cursed form and was bleeding from a hole in his shoulder. He only glared at us with the Mangekyou-Sharingan. I smiled back at him and activated my own before morphing it into the Rinne-Sharingan. It shocked him massively.
“Why do you think that would be the case? We could also only be here because we wanted to save Guy and Lee”, I replied.
“As if, these monstrosities reek of seals. They must have their origin with the Uzumaki”, denied Danzo.
“I don't care what you think. I can honestly tell that they have nothing to do with the Uzumaki-clan”, I told him truthfully. They were made by Clair Schmiedehand, someone completely different and way stronger.
“Can we proceed with the killing of them both?”, asked Kura-chan bored. I smiled sweetly at her and gave her a quick kiss, before using the God path to pull Sasuke towards me.
He was first shocked but then activated his Susano'o in defence. Not that it helped him. His Susano'o was still a skeleton, while mine was fully grown. An armoured green claw punched through his Susano'o's ribcage and pierced his shoulder.
He managed to evade in the last second but lost his arm and remaining wing in the process. He glared at me and black flames suddenly began to burn my Susano'o. I laughed at the stupid attempt. He could burn my Susano'o as long as he wishes. So long as I am going to supply it with Chakra he won't be able to harm me. And even then I would be able to heal myself with my [Flames of Healing], or by simply cutting off the burning part.
The other arm of my Susano'o made to grab him, but he jumped away. This child should know when it's time to die.
He turned around to flee, but the five seconds of my time interval was over and another pull of my God path flung him back into the waiting claw of my Susaono'o. This time he was pierced through the stomach and gurgled some blood before I ripped the hand upwards and him in two.
I turned around and saw that Kura-chan has lost the ends of four of her tails. I rushed to her and quickly found the reason for the loss. There was a large spherical hole in front of her and the shredded corpses of the ANBU laid thrown around.
Danzo must have killed himself and hoped to seal her with him. Kura-chan used her tails to jump back and lost the ends in the seal.
“I underestimated him. He was weak but the seal was dangerous”, she growled in anger while I healed her. The wound would have healed on itself, but my way was faster.
“That happens, just don't do it again. I might not stand to loose you”, I said and hugged her. She hugged me back and we stayed like that for a while.
A bizarre scene, two 'monster' hugging each other lovingly in a burning wasteland.
Later that day we took Guy and Lee out of their seals and healed them. We also extracted the curse seal and sealed away most of their memories of what happened while being under the curse. We then dropped them near the border of one of Uzu's cities in wave and left them.
Maybe they will seek out information from Uzu after their waking.
We waited another week and by now Kumo and Kiri were frightened by the fate of the other three main villages. They called for a Kage summit and asked Uzushiogakure to be its meeting place.
Their argument was that Uzu was the safest place in the world. The fact that Kumo was still at war was ignored by A. Must have been pressured by his village. He did not say that they surrendered but merely said that the war would hold no meaning if every village in the world was burned down.
Kura-chan and I agreed to hold a meeting, after burning down most of the other smaller villages on the mainland. At the end, only Kumo was remaining. Any other village that was not attacked was an island.
Kura-chan and I had also gone out and 'secured' a golem for tests. Our sealers found out that these golems were using nature Chakra and quickly developed a seal that would suck out all their Mana. Making them crumpled to pieces.
I did not even have had to help them.
Now we had a weapon to show and I'm sure that Kumo will agree to see the reason in one grand nation in the world. If not, there were still golems left in my inventory.

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice.
