《At Wit's End》Where have you been, oh unreliable author?
I realize I’ve disappointed a number of readers by disappearing without notice and I’d like to say I’m sorry about that. This is a kind of Q&A session for some much needed closure - mostly for me, because I feel like an asshole for waiting this long.
Q. Where have you been, oh unreliable author?
A. I’m sorry. After my last release, a number of circumstances kept from from posting for a month and a half, and I’m not sure if any of you remember, it was so long ago, but I was in the process of moving into my college dorm and starting classes. I know I promised more chapters after a readjustment period, but the lifestyle hit me harder than I’d like to admit - between classes, class work, a social life, and some intermittent drinking. This poor author can’t remember last night and is very much hung over at the moment, writing this in his bed on his phone.
Apparently, last night i pissed on the wall, put my roommate in a headlock, tore my meniscus on a ping-pong table, and had the cops called on me by someone in my hall for being too loud. Fucking snitch.
Or at least that’s what my apologetic 6’5 roommate told me as he profusely apologized for punching a hole in my mirror.
Q. Are you going to finish the story?
A. Continuing this honesty streak...probably not. I don’t have the brain power to put all the ideas I had together after such a long time away from it and, honestly, I don’t like how I began the story. It wasn’t bad for a first effort, but it isn’t the best quality I think I can do having gained some experience. There were a lot of things I wanted to get to, but I just don't have it in me to write this story anymore; the quality just wouldn't be there. I have some ideas for other ventures, so I’ll poll them later after I’ve ironed everything out.

Q. Do you have any chapters lying around to continue the story?
A. Why yes, about 10 of them. During that month and a half where i couldnt post, I did write. I’ll poll whether or not you guys even want to read them. They’ll only take some light editing before I can post them, so I’ll probably do it in a couple weeks, after these damn exams.
Q. Will you continue writing with a different story?
A. Probably, and that's a hard probably. I definitely don't have the time during the next month or two, but I do have a couple of ideas that id like to bounce off your heads later. Of course there will be a poll for it. There are always polls. The polls never end. If I did try anything, I’d have to wait till the summer to really get anything done, but we’ll see.
Q. Do you have anything to recommend, since you clearly don't plan on satisfying our reading boner?
A. Why, it's the least I could do. I've only started reading again this week, but here are a few I really liked in no particular order. Savage Divinty, Rebirth of the Undead King, and Lucid...hahah thats all I've read so far, but just look in my favorites for anything I like. Also, could you recommend this poor author some stories, he's very much out of the loop.
Anyways that's what I wanted to get off my chest, and hopefully I provided a few of you with some closure as well, because I feel much better having done so. I hope you all well and I look forward to a good roasting in the comments.

Tellus Stirs (Previously Earth AA)
The year is 2030. Earth is dying. War, pandemics, overwhelming pollution, species going extinct, climate change, etc. The so-called human race has brought more harm to their planet due to greed; their increased energy needs were on a path of decadence even with their increased technological advancements. Tactical Nukes were already used in conflicted zones in the fight for resources. The conclusion was a deep and frightening hum unleashed deep within the earth, heard by every living creature, and with it, civilization has ended. Those who survived wished they were slain along with their loved ones as the dead didn't have to endure what came after. Others took the opportunity to gain unimaginable power and prestige as a new age began. Chaos reigned as per the prophecies foretold in the past. Those who did not believe knew the signs were actual; these prophecies were no longer popular folk tales. Such titles, the Breaking, the Rapture, the Malhama, and many others, came at a high cost. After all, every city or densely populated area had been hit with natural disasters that encompassed tsunamis, Earthquakes, Firestorms, Typhoons, and hurricanes. Power, food, infrastructure. All of it was gone and what came after was worse as humans were no longer top of the food chain. Yet the imminent destruction of the 21st century re-opened a veil that had kept the world safe from hidden dangers, or maybe it was the other way around. Time will tell. In our story, the Protagonist rises from the ashes of the apocalypse. A desert child soldier nurtured by tragedy and death looking for an escape to fill the void in his heart. By chance, in his hand, he held a blade with immense possibilities. Notes: (30.06.2021) - I have re-edited and revised the following chapters up to Chapter 24. - Changed the Title from Earth AA to Tellus Stirs.
