《Feral Shadows》Author Note

Hello!
So, yes! I am alive, and so is my writing... kinda. It's semi-Frankenstein at the moment. Needs a bit of lightning to get it going.
A few things I plan to talk about right quick -
1. Where the hell I've been
2. Concerns from comments about certain aspects of the book so far
3. Future of the book
Where the hell I've been! TL;DR - Selling a house/moving and (still) scrambling to find gainful employment, accompanied by a family trip out of state. Lots of stuff going on that's been inhibiting writing beyond my normal motivational problems.
Concerns from comments (this is my wording, not theirs) about certain aspects of my writing so far. This might get a little shpeely/ranty but I'll try to keep it reigned in.
Okay, I'm sure many have noticed that I try to keep things as semi realistic as possible while providing a good amount of detail to give a clear picture of the story as it's progressing. There's been a lot of... criticism I think would be the best word, towards certain aspects of my book that are less-than-realistic in the eyes of some readers. This is addressed to pretty much every single one of those concerns. This is still a fantasy book! Keep that in mind! There will be fantastical, reality breaking things that will happen! I do a hell of a lot of research for a lot of the details I add in, so if it's something that seems reality breaking assume I did it on purpose until I say otherwise. I PROMISE THERE WILL BE ANSWERS FOR EVERYTHING! Just not soon. But they exist! I swear! If we get into (and I want to emphasize this very, very clearly) BOOK THREE and there are still plotholes or details that seem glaringly disappointing. I will then take any and all criticism and attempt to fix it if it's broke.

Future moving forward -
I'm not the most consistent writer (obviously), however I want to assure everyone that has made it this far and enjoys my writing/story that I absolutely, 100% will finish this. It's just going to take a little while until I can get my life a bit more orderly. So don't despair if I disappear as I have for a couple months. I promise, I'll be back.
Until then, thank you everyone for reading! If you enjoy my work, please comment, favorite, review, rate, etc. If you hate my work and managed to get this far, if you leave me a one star or two star rating without a review about why you dislike it
I will find you.
Thanks!
Imbalance
Edit: about to break the 50k word milestone woo!

The New God’s Representative
I was given a one-a-trillion chance opportunity to reincarnate into a fantasy world by a god. The actual chances are probably even lower — I mean, how would you even calculate the chances of being in my frankly ridiculous situation? In any case, the deal we made seemed pretty good; at least hope so, seeing as I’ve forgotten most of it along with the memories of my past life. Now, I’m a baby bird monster in a world with magic. I can see my Status as if I were an RPG character. And running with the RPG theme, my main Quest in this world is to become its strongest entity or titular God. I have a couple thousand years to do it or else the laws of reality itself will erase my existence. But, hey. That’s exactly what I signed up for, right?
